A week after the accident occurred, Joe only learned about Eva's condition lying in a coma in the ICU room. That afternoon Joe was in therapy at the hospital where Eva was being treated. When he was about to go home he saw Grego walking alone in the hospital hallway with a pitiful facial expression. He did not see the passion in him. Seeing Grego's apprehensive state Joe becomes suspicious. Eva was not with him. He followed Grego's steps from behind. When Grego stood in front of the ICU room where Eva was being treated, Joe stopped and looked at her from a distance. He saw Grego's sad face and like shedding tears. Because of the curiosity that was so great Joe chose to approach him and look into the ICU room. And how very surprised he was to see the figure lying inside.

" Eva! he said he did not believe what he saw.

Hearing a foreign voice beside him Grego turned his head and looked at Joe's face.

Grego said to her, "Why are you here?

Instead of answering Grego's question, Joe asked, "What happened, why is Eva in there?

Grego didn't answer Joe's question either. Grego also recalled some time ago about the threat message that was received by Eva on behalf of Joe. Grego said to Joe again,

" Isn't this what you want? Expecting Eva to suffer!

Listening to Grego's words, Joe became confused. Then he replied to Grego with a question,

" What do you mean, I don't understand?

Grego responded by saying, "Don't you send a message of terror to Eva some time ago? Threaten Eva if you won't let Eva live happily with me?

Joe was surprised to hear it. When did he ever do that? He never contacted Eva or simply sent her a message. Moreover, the message of terror as meant by Grego. Joe denies the charges that Grego has made against him.

" I've never sent a message to Eva. Because I haven't been in contact with Eva since the accident."

Grego looked at Joe with a look of hate.

Hearing Grego's explanation, Joe was a little confused and surprised. Eva's been looking for him all this time? Is it true what this man said? Didn't her mother tell her that Eva never looked for her or didn't even come to see her when she was sick?

Grego said to Joe, "You are an ungrateful man. And stupid too. As long as you are in a coma Eva is always faithful to take care of you, taking care of you with love and care. He doesn't care about himself because he feels guilty for what happened to you."

" Not a day goes by without looking after you in the hospital."

How shocked Joe was to hear Grego's words. It was like a knife in his heart. Sick and sore. So all this time he has been accusing Eva of unwarranted charges. He believed more in the sedition and slander of his parents. Even her lips were willing to say hurtful words to Eva.

Joe dropped himself on the floor. Guilt permeated his heart. It turned out that he was an evil-hearted and also stupid man who could not see the sincerity of a good woman like Eva. It turned out that his heart was still fragile so it was unable to feel and judge the purity of the heart that Eva had been giving to him.

Grego turned his attention to Eva in the ICU. He doesn't care about the man next to him.

Then Grego said again, "It's useless for you to shed tears and regret what happened. Because Eva doesn't need any of that from you. Without you all this time we live happily, before your message of terror that almost interrupts his days and until now he has to fight between life and death."

Grego's voice sounded very soft and soft. Seemed a deep sadness coming out of his heart.

Grego stared fixedly at Eva's passive face. Grego then said the words that sounded like an oath, "Whoever does this to Eva, I assure you he will not live quietly. I'll chase him even to hell."

Joe raised his head and looked towards Grego. He tried to examine every single word Grego said and decipher it in his mind. So there's someone who has hurt Eva so much that she has to suffer as she is today?

Joe got up from his place. The glass wall separates them from Eva. Then he said in his mind to Eva, "I'm sorry Va, I hurt your heart. But I promise I won't let anyone hurt you again. I swear to myself, I will avenge your suffering to those who have hurt you." she groaned in her sore and wounded heart.
