From Heart to Heart

Joe was sitting pensively in his office. After a long time knowing Eva, only yesterday he found out if Eva had a son.

Flashbacks.....

Joe wants to congratulate Eva by coming to her office that day.

With a bouquet of red roses Joe hopes Eva will love it. When he arrived at the company building where Eva worked, Joe asked permission from the receptionist who was on duty there and after getting permission he went directly to the room that had been notified by the receptionist. With a flowery heart Joe hopes that his arrival paves the way for him to get closer to Eva. But when he arrived there was an event that raged blue was happening. And indeed the event gave him a little surprise. Eva already had a son. Which means he's married or married. The day they met and told each other, Eva did not mention her son. Whether Eva was covering something up or because Eva did not want to tell him something more personal with her.

After seeing the event Joe undoes his intention to surprise Eva. With mixed feelings Joe left the place. There's a little bit of disappointment. But also covered in questions. And she did not want to be forever overwhelmed with curiosity so she was determined to ask Eva directly. After careful and thoughtful thinking, Joe decided to meet Eva, revealing the contents of his heart that he had long harbored. But before that he would ask Eva to be honest, about her personal life. The most important thing was about his relationship with that little boy named Gio who called her that Mother.

Joe sends a short message to Eva if she's coming to his house tonight. Without much ado Joe was straightforward. Eva who read the message was a little confused and curious about what important things Joe wanted to talk about so she wanted to meet and talk directly to him.

And that night came. Joe, who was at Eva's door, pressed the bell and the door opened and Eva's face came out from behind the door. Joe was allowed to go inside. Gio seemed to be busy with his duties given by his teacher.

Joe looks like he's carrying a package.

"There's a little food. I remember that this was one of your favorite foods." Joe said as soon as he walked into the house. He handed over the food, which turned out to be sweet martabak.

Eva is a little flattered to hear Joe knows one of her favorite foods. It means he has attention for himself too.

Eva immediately received the package and then invited Joe to sit on the sofa. Joe put his body on the sofa. Eva goes to store the package in the closet and prepares drinking water for Joe. Put the glass filled with water on the table and allow Joe to drink it.

Then Joe started the conversation to break the silence that felt like it was in a dark and cold cave.

"I wanted to apologize to Va before, for forcing you to meet me tonight" she said, looking into Eva's eyes with a warm look.

"It's okay. I can understand.! he said with his soft voice.

Joe fixed his sitting position. In the lyrics for a moment in the direction of Gio who was busy himself with his duties.

Then he looked at Eva again with a warm look.

"Va, I want to speak from heart to heart, because all this time I've been trying to harbor feelings that always disturb my heart and mind." he said with confidence.

Eva who was listening to him felt a little careless. What the meaning of Joe's words seems to be predictable but he does not want to be guessed so he tries to listen more to what Joe will tell him.

Eva's heart started to beat fast.

It turns out this is what it feels like to talk about heart problems and feelings especially with someone we once admired.

Joe has prepared the energy and courage to express the heart that has been bothering him for the past few days.

And this time tonight he's gonna say it. From heart to heart. Whatever the answer from Eva, Joe has prepared his heart to accept it. Good or bad everything will be accepted with an open heart and airy chest. As a man he will accept everything.
