Tasya looked at her appearance in the glass, it seemed like she was ready for school today. However, just as she was about to put on the bag, Amara came and was surprised to see the already tidy Tasya.
"Where are you going, Shay?" ask Amara.
"School, Tan. The power of Tasya's assignment was piled up because a few weeks did not go to school."
"Don't, Tasya just came home yesterday. So take a break, okay?"
"But, Tan .... "
"Today the doctor will check your condition, if you've recovered then you can go to school, huh?" Amara gave her understanding to make Tasya understand.
Tasya nodded his head. Actually he was quite relieved that he did not have to deal with the crowd, but on the one hand he was overshadowed by his responsibilities as a student and Chairman of OSIS.
Amara exited Tasya's room, while Tasya sat on her bed, opening her phone. Many notifications of messages from his friends, but he just opened without the intention of replying.
Radit had forgiven him, but there was still a lot of burden that Tasya felt. He also felt that he was always haunted by fear that came from nowhere.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door while entering Tasya's room. Yes, he is the psychiatrist who will help Tasya today. Her face was beautiful, had shoulder-length hair, wore glasses and was white. He tipped a sizable bag and smiled towards Tasya.
"Hi, Tasya," she greeted him and was presented with a slight smile from Tasya. Actually Tasya was a bit awkward but he had to force himself to get well soon.
The woman sat on the bed, to the right of Tasya. Then he looked at Tasya's face.
"Include me doctor Anna, today you check up with me yes," he said Friendly.
"Greetings, Doctor Anna. I'm Tasya," Tasya replied.
"How are you today? Is his hand still hurting?" anna asked Tasya while taking out the tension device and some other tools.
"That's okay, Doc," Tasya answered flatly.
"Oiya, I'm horrified you've been home 2 weeks. Must be a lot of bosen?" Anna looked at Tasya gently.
"nothing. Sometimes felt kangen temen, but sometimes more comfortable at home."
"Yes, he said you are also the chairman of OSIS? Naturally, if there is a sense of mumet and pingin just at home. I tensi first yes," said Anna while gluing the adhesive cuff to Tasya's arm.
"I feel better when away from the crowd" said Tasya, I don't know if he just let out what he thinks now.
Anna glued the cuff together and turned on the measuring device. He stared at Tasya, paying attention to every gesture in sight. A few minutes later, he saw results that exceeded normal limits.
"Why? Is there a problem with people around that?" ask Anna.
"There is, that's what I'm feeling now."
"High strength, were you last night?" anna asked as she took off the cuff, then she took her notes and noted down a few things there.
"I can't sleep, Doctor. The heads feel dizzy, they can't let me sleep."
"They're who? Your friend?"
"No, but they always mojokin me at the same time. They always ask me things I don't want to answer. They like to scream until it feels like my ears are about to break. They —"
Anna immediately held onto Tasya's hand, stroking it gently to lessen her current fear. His face paled, cold sweat began to pour out.
"Okay then?"
"They asked me to die or hurt myself. They always do that every night. I also hate myself for always laughing and cornering me in front of the glass." Tash pointed towards the mirror.
"I hate them all" Tasya continued.
"Is your heart beating faster than usual?"
"Yeah, it feels like being detached from the body, limp. I feel like I'm here, but I'm not. I always felt unsafe. Overthinking kept spinning in my brain. That's what makes me unable to sleep."
Anna wears a handscoon, then pairs the tourniquet on Tasya's arm. Take a cotton swab, alcohol and apply it on Tasya's arm. Once he felt enough, Anna took an injection needle and stuck it in Tasya's arm. There was no pain or rejection from Tasya, for him his feelings were now much more unpleasant than any pain.
Anna inserts a blood sample into a storage tube, then labels it so it doesn't change when it goes into the lab.
...~ • ~...
After getting answers and some test results. Anna came out of Tasya's room. Anna immediately met Amara and Radit who were waiting for her in the living room.
"Where, Doc? Tasya hurts what?" ask Radit.
Anna was sitting on the sofa, she was staring at Amara and Radit. Anna took a note and began reading out her diagnoses.
"Schizophrenia is paranoid" Anna said as she continued to watch her notes.
"Schizophrenia? What's doc's disease?" Amara asked who seemed to not understand Anna's words.
"Disturbations that affect a person's ability to think, feel, and behave properly. Usually sufferers will experience hallucinations, excessive anxiety and they can not distinguish between hallucinations and reality." Anna took a breath.
"In some tests, Tasya was quite able to express what she was feeling. He had an anxiety disorder that made him sleepless, voices that appeared, even he saw his other self in the mirror" continued Anna.
"That's hallucination or indigo, Doc? I used to think that my sister was indigo, because she often talked to herself" Radit asked.
"It's hallucination. In this condition the patient does not realize the hallucination so that there is a sense of anxiety and fear." Anna reopened the notes
"In fact, this is still early, profit is faster to handle. If it is a further stage it will be more difficult. However, this hallucination is quite dangerous, because there is an urge to commit suicide, that's why Tasya should be more supervised."
"Did Tasya get well, Doc?" ask Amara.
"Schizophrenia is actually if in theory it can not be cured, even for life. But it can be minimized by using drugs, psychotherapy and provide awareness about the disease suffered by Tasya slowly. Tell her condition in a way that Tasya can accept. So that he can raise his spirit to heal."
"So now how's it going, Doc?" ask Radit.
"Maybe now I will prescribe a drug that he can buy pharmacies. Tasya's blood sample will be tested in the lab to find out if any medicines were taken by Tasya. Later I will schedule for a sublime function test, CT-scan and start psychotherapy yes" Anna said with a smile.
"This is the recipe and the advice to use, the drug must be taken consistently so that Tasya can minimize the symptoms." Anna gives a piece of paper to Radit.
"Thank you, Doc. Maybe if I have any questions can I call the doctor?" ask Radit.
"Oh sure, please. Fear if something happens suddenly to Tasya. I'll also be in touch to give you the results of the lab tests yes."
"Well, Doc thank you for the time" said Amara.
"It's the same, then I say yes. Hopefully Tasya can recover as we expect." Ana stands up and walks out of the house, Amara and Radit escort her to the gate.
"Thank you again, Doc" Radit said.
Anna smiled and drove her car slowly. Radit saw the prescription of the drug he was holding, it felt very hard to hear the results of Tasya's diagnosis, but he had to be strong for Tasya's sake.
"Tan, Tasya can live a normal life again, right?" Ask Radit.
"Can, I can. All we have to do is pray a lot, Tasya support so that he does not feel lonely. Aunty sure, Tasya's a strong boy. He's not giving up, you know that, right, Dit?" Amara stroked Radit's shoulder and tried to keep him from getting anxious.
"But, Tan. If Tasya can't live a normal life again, it's all Radit's fault. Radit causes one of Tasya so rich gini. Radit's not a good brother." Radit's defense collapsed, it felt like he couldn't help but cry. Not because he was weak, but he loved Tasya so much.
"Can't say that ah, we are optimistic, positive thinking that everything will be okay. You're not alone, there's still a aunt here to take care of you."
Radit hugged Amara tightly, spilling all the pain she felt. Amara was right, she had to think positively, so that all her hopes for Tasya could be realized.
"Thank you, Tan. Thank you Auntie was here when our own mama was really a bad woman. Even aunty who loves us more than mama," said Radit.
"Don't think about it, now you have to live happily. Your future is long, okay?" Amara stroked Radit's back gently.
Amara promised not to let Lidya hurt her two nephews again. Enough of his brother who endured his suffering until the end of his khaat for the actions of his ex-wife. Amara will look after Radit and Tasya like her own children.
