04. Past In The Past
08:09 PM. The Jung Hotel's.
For Xavier, Laurine is the most beautiful sight in the world. Just paying attention to it requires a risky struggle conducted by Xavier.
Pulling Laurine's body to vent his longing is what Xavier wants to do. But it really won't be that easy. For now Xavier can do nothing but just sit quietly in a special place that is quiet and there is no one to stare at Laurine from a distance here.
Seeing clearly how Laurine who tried to avoid him by busying herself greet the shareholders down there. While Marcus came from the other direction with a beaming face and then sat himself in the seat that was to the right of Xavier.
"I got four pretty girlfriends at once tonight!" show off Marcus gleefully.
Xavier shakes his head at Marcus's playboy demeanour - Even though they have a very close kinship they even grew up together, but the nature of the two handsome men is very different.
If the loyal Xavier only takes heart in one woman and will reject any woman who has tried to approach him all along, then Marcus is the opposite.
"You want to too?" bargain Marcus while showing his cell phone screen displaying the contacts of the woman he had just met while in the party area below.
"Why would I see another woman if my woman was prettier than them?" timpal Xavier pointed to Laurine below.
Marcus rolled his eyes lazily. "Always the same answer every time I offer my girlfriend to you. You're the Odyssey who's loyal to Penelope"
"And you're Zeus the madwoman" Xavier replied sharply not to be outdone.
"I'm just making good use of my good looks. Not like you're wasting your good looks"
Xavier grunts. "Blame that woman who managed to make me so crazy about her"
"Why blame Lauren? Besides, I think she's my best friend who uses her beauty well to lure demons like you"
"Don't equate Laurine with a jerk like you"
Marcus was about to reply, but stopped when another voice interrupted their conversation.
"Master Kim? Is that you?"
Then both Xavier and Marcus turned around simultaneously. That voice was the voice of Anthony who was suddenly in a special place for Xavier and Marcus who were quiet and there was no one else.
Marcus returned Anthony's hand no less graciously. Xavier is not.
Without wanting to answer Anthony's friendly greetings or handshakes, Xavier turned his eyes back.
"I've invited you to a TJ Group party about nine times before, but now you're finally here" Anthony said, bowing to another chair.
"really? It's been that much?" ketus Xavier's.
Anthony nodded. "Yes. And it's a great honor that you're able to attend our event"
Xavier only muttered in return with the direction of the eye still directed at the figure of Laurine.
Then Anthony followed Xavier's gaze and smiled. "Laurine is lucky to be loved by a great man like you" he murmured.
"Time feels so fast. I still remember when he was a kid and always invited me to play every time we met. Who would have thought that he was now my own boss. I really raised and took good care of her, didn't I? You should thank me"
Hearing Anthony's words earlier, made Marcus link his brow confused and enter the conversation. "Growing him up is one of your late father's wills so you can receive an inheritance. But I disagree with keeping him. Did some attempted murder on her like poisoning her food, pushing her off the stairs and even crashing her car with the word 'keep' you mean?" satirical Marcus.
Suddenly Anthony was surprised.Then turned back to look at Xavier and Marcus simultaneously while gulping his saliva was a bad sign of fear.
"You know that?" ask Anthony who was addressed to Xavier.
Then Xavier moved away and looked at Anthony with a sharpened gaze.
"of course. Maybe Laurine knew all along and just kept quiet, but not with me. Even all of your men you ordered to harm Laurine without waiting long I've sent her to hell"
Slowly Xavier advanced a step closer which made Anthony also rewind the pace. It continued like that until it came to a halt when Anthony's body hit the wall.
Xavier pulled out a gun from behind his black suit. Then play the gun on his fingers smartly in front of Anthony who looks so scared.
Marcus who saw that immediately tried to prevent Xavier. "Don't be crazy. It's a public place"
"Calm down. I just wanted to scare him. But, it turned out to be enough to make his face pale"
"You know for yourself, I could have tortured you in the most sadistic way. So, stop bothering Laurine if you really want to be alive. Understood?"
Then Anthony nodded quickly and Xavier slightly rewinded his body while re-inserting his gun.
Without waiting for anything else, Andrew immediately ran breezed in fear down the stairs leading back to the party area.

The eagle's sharp eyes continued to stare at the victim. Time keeps going. However, Xavier's views never once apart from the figure of Laurine.
The clock kept turning. The birthday party of TJ Group has been running for approximately 1 hour. Shortly after Laurine's speech as Chairman of the Company, the people there mingled and they talked about things not far from business.
No exception to Laurine. The woman approached and greeted many people. Then talk about the development of TJ Group so shrewd and smart. As if forgetting the panic attack she had felt, Laurine tried hard to be professional.

"You don't want to say hello?" anthony asked in a whisper while sitting in the chair opposite to Laurine.
For a moment Laurine glanced at Xavier who was still in his place then snorted and rolled her eyes lazily.
"What uncle invited that man?! What according to Uncle, this event is Uncle's personal event?! Does Uncle want chaos by letting him stay here?! Does Uncle not know that he is a dangerous mafia?! Does Uncle not understand if I hate him so much?!" seloroh Laurine panted with a little scream.
"Hey. Lower your voice and be polite to her" Anthony whispered.
"Be polite to her you said?! Hmh! I'm not going to!"
"Yes. I know she's your ex-lover. But it is better to ignore the past. Because his current status is one we should respect. Xavier Kim owns 8% of TJ Group's entire business"
Laurine's reflexes stood up with a shocked facial expression. "What's? W-why...can?"
"I haven't told you this because I know you won't approve. He has been a shareholder for four years. At that time you were still fairly new and the condition of the company was declining drastically. "Come on. Your reaction's exaggerated. You should thank him anyway. Because without his help at that time, TJ Group could have gone bankrupt. Be professional by thinking of him as just a partner and not an ex-lover"
"But not in this way. The past will still be on my mind" Laurine said frustratedly in a half-whispering voice.
"You're talking about me?"
Xavier's voice was clearly heard this time. Laurine turned around and was surprised to find Xavier approaching. Keep moving closer until the position of Xavier and Laurine become facing each other with a fairly close distance.
