Special Chapter — How It All Began
Flashback 10 years ago...
March 27th 2013.
03:16 PM. The Jung Hospital's.
People always think that Laurine Jung's life is perfect. Born to a prosperous family, has a beautiful face, and is blessed with a smart brain. But they don't know that Lauren's life isn't that perfect. Nothing in this world is perfect, and neither is Lauren.
She has a mental illness called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It is a disorder characterized by a failure to recover after experiencing or witnessing a terrible event. This condition can last for months or years. The trigger that can bring Laurine back memories of the trauma is accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions. Makes Lauren can't live her life well.
The tiny legs kept running out of a hospital building. Today her twin brother-Lucien again forces her to do psychotherapy with a Psychiatrist. Then for the umpteenth time as well, Laurine resolutely refused. Laurine hates it when the psychics hypnotize her and bring her back to her dark past.
It was the murder of her father a few years ago that Laurine was the only witness at the scene. To date, the killer has not been found due to a lack of evidence and testimony. Things that make Lucien feel unfair and angry.
"Stop, Laurine! If you really loved our father, you would have to tell him about the incident that night and help the police solve his death case!" lucien shouted as he continued to run after Laurine in front of him.
A doctor, two nurses, and a few bodyguards ran after Laurine.
"No! It's torturing me! I don't want to!"
Laurine continued to run fast with the occasional accident to hit people in the hallway of the hospital.
Until now, Laurine actually hit a young man of high stature.
BUKH!!!
It was enough to make Laurine lose her balance and almost fall if only someone did not quickly hold her body.

03:16 PM. The Jung Hospital's.
Being a mafia boy or an underground businessman is difficult and Xavier has already felt it for himself. There was so much hard training that Hans had done for Xavier as a child.
Not without reason. Xavier seemed obliged to do that as a form of preparation to succeed his father's throne later when he was exactly twenty years old.
Aided by Marcus, Xavier slowly stepped in the hospital hallway.
"Uncle Hans is really mean. Which father would beat his own son?" decak Marcus stared at the pity of Xavier's battered face filled with punches.
"Not beaten. More precisely we wrestled. It's also my fault that I don't have the ability to fight on par with him" Xavier said, grimacing softly when he felt the pain back on his left leg.
"Yes yes. Alright. I-i understand. When other kids your age spend time in school and play, you spend time preparing yourself to be the head of a dark organization"
Then they resumed their steps slowly because Xavier's actual condition had not fully recovered.
They were about to go home after five days Xavier was admitted to this hospital. But while in the middle of the journey, Marcus's steps suddenly stopped which made Xavier also stopped his steps with a confused face.
"What's wrong?"
"I just found out there was such a beautiful nurse" Marcus said as he watched from a distance a female nurse who was seen just coming out of a nursery.
Xavier followed Marcus's line of sight. "I guess you're going to date her"
Marcus nodded quickly and without waiting any longer immediately slid his foot closer towards the female nurse he was looking for.
"It won't be long. Justjust look. I can make him love me for less than five minutes" Marcus said as he walked away.
Then Xavier was still standing waiting as he looked at Marcus who was in action seducing women.
As Marcus had expected. The female nurse also looked like she liked Marcus and responded to Marcus' sweet greeting no less kindly.
The action of a high-class playboy Marcus Hwang was started. The conversation starts with something health-related and continues with something related to romance.
Like asking what is the right medicine to treat a broken heart and conjured words of booze. Alas, Xavier just shook his head as his mouth clucked.
"Bas based on a female enthusiast" he murmured.
But, it cannot be denied if Xavier also wants a romance story in his life like Marcus. Several times Xavier has tried to meet some women introduced Henry or Marcus. However, it didn't end well.
Whether it was because of his attitude that seemed cold or those women who were not attractive to him. No one can really take Xavier's heart. Not until fate makes him fall for a woman who will soon be reunited with him.

Xavier's daydreams are uprooted when a young woman who looks the same age as him hits him and almost falls.
Makes Xavier reflexively hold Laurine's body from lying hard on the floor. Within moments, their views met. Looking at each other with eyes that are difficult to interpret.
Is this what is called love at first sight?
"Sir, can you let me go?"
Laurine's voice made Xavier gasp and immediately let go of her hands that were originally tightly cupped to Laurine's waist.
"Ah, sorry"
The awkward atmosphere felt so sticky between them. Laurine was embarrassed, and so was Xavier.
"That's it!"
"Catch immediately!"
"Laurine, you fuck!" lucien's Ogat.
Both of them turned to the origin of the screams reserved for Laurine. Not wanting to get caught, Laurine ran back.
The next second Xavier realized that something bad was happening to Laurine. Without thinking, Xavier came running and pulled Laurine's hand to run faster.
Then the voices of the men in black clothes behind them were still heard. Also Lucien who tried to run as fast as possible while grinning confused when there was an unknown man helping his twin sister to escape from him.
"Come in here"
They entered an elevator. The door was closed fixed as Lucien got closer and clear in view.
Vertical transport is helpful. Take Laurine and Xavier downstairs. But still, they can't let their guard down.
It didn't take long until the elevator doors opened. Soon Xavier pulls Laurine's hand back to running.
Arriving at the main door of the Hospital, the three bodyguards assigned to the lower floor were already about to catch them.
However, Xavier was not his name if not good at fighting. The release of Laurine's grip on her hand then turned to give a hard blow to the men who tried to block her path and Laurine to escape from Lucien.
BUGH!!! BUGH!!! BUGH!!!
BUGH!!! BUGH!!! BUGH!!!
One by one of the three people were fighting with Xavier. To attract the attention of people who happen to be there.
Likewise, Laurine who was surprised did not play to see the shrewdness of Xavier in fighting against the guards who are known to be strong.
The time was only a little because Lucien was already seen back at the back. So, Xavier only at least weakened Lucien's men from being able to return to the chase.
Then Xavier pulled the hand of Laurine who was still silent in his place. They ran back to the underground parking area where the car was.
He ordered Laurine by Xavier to get into the car immediately by not forgetting to attach the seat belt first. He drove his car at high speed and left the hospital.
From the reflection of the rearview mirror of the car, Xavier and Laurine can see if Lucien is growling furiously at the back for not succeeding in capturing Laurine.
Meanwhile, the car that Xavier was driving continued to drive fast. Penetrating the streets by overtaking several cars to provoke the annoyance of other riders.
Laurine, who was beside him, just sat quietly while tightly grasping the seatbelt with a face that looked frightened.
But, Xavier keeps driving his car higher. To hell with leaving Marcus still in the Hospital and will give him a thousand swearing when they meet later.
Or his entire body that still feels pain due to the results of his struggle with his father a few days ago, but forced to do extreme things like this.
Because what Xavier has in mind right now is to help Laurine.

05:37 PM. Beach.
Two young people were sitting on the hood of the car while staring at the beautiful view of the sunset on the beach. Sit next to each other quietly accompanied by the breeze.
"Thank you for the help" Laurine's voice opened the conversation.
Xavier only muttered in response. And then Laurine realized if the man next to her is very minimal expression and stingy talking.
"Laurine Jung" said Laurine again as she reached out her hands typical of people who invite acquaintance.
"Xavier Kim" Xavier said without replying to Laurine's hand.
Laurine clucking. "That's not the way, sir. You should introduce yourself to good ethics"
Then Laurine grabbed one of Xavier's hands to return his hand. They also shake hands. Or rather it was Laurine who forced Xavier to do just that.
Their handshake was released because of Xavier who was feeling uneasy and made Laurine sigh slowly.
"Why are you helping me, by the way?" laurine asked again to melt the stiff atmosphere between them.
"Wind it" Xavier said briefly.
Although Xavier himself does not know the exact reason he wants to help Laurine earlier. Helping others was something Xavier never did.
"You're so cool. Your footsteps are long and your knitting skills are amazing. If only I were like you too. Maybe I can beat Lucien. I'll beat up that guy every time I force me to go see a psychiatrist" Laurine lamented slightly pushing her lips forward.
Laurine's words had caught Xavier's attention. He looked and looked at the girl beside him. "Psychiatrist?"
Laurine nodded. "Mentalku's sick. Bad things happened to me eight years ago. Since then I have had panic disorder. But as time went on, I started to control myself. The man who was chasing us was my twin brother and lately he's been dragging me to a psychiatrist. But, it turns out that mental treatment actually makes me sicker. I've always been told to recall the terrible events I've completely forgotten"
Xavier just nodded his head in understanding without even wanting to ask any further because he knew it was a personal matter and was a little worried about provoking Laurine emotionally.
"What were you doing at the hospital? Are you sick?"
"Just unconscious for two days due to losing a wrestling match" Xavier said lightly and made Laurine surprised.
"Unconscious for two days?! And it's 'just', you say?!" pekik Laurine emphasized the word 'only' as she moved on and turned to stand right in front of Xavier.
Laurine cupped Xavier's face, which was full of bruises.
"Who did this to you? Is it really that painful? Who are you fighting with? You were hit by one of those guards. What if you're worse? Ah, how is this? I feel so guilty"
Xavier tries to resist because he feels uncomfortable with Laurine's treatment and the distance between her face and Laurine's face.
"I'm fine"
"It's obviously not okay!" laurine said a little snapped out of worry.
Then Laurine brought her face closer to Xavier so that she could see clearly the wounds on Xavier's face. Laurine rubs and blows away the bruises on Xavier's face hoping to at least ease the pain.
There was no rejection from Xavier. Laurine's sweet treatment warms her heart. For some reason, the figure of Laurine as a substitute mother figure that Xavier had wanted to be present in his life.
Likewise for Laurine, Xavier's help seems to remind him of the protection of his late father who he will always remember in his life. They need each other and are needed. Therefore, the universe meets.
