15. Big Mistakes

07:49 PM. Street.

There was only silence that night. A car traveling at average speed. There are two adults of different gender. Xavier was focused on driving and Laurine was just staring out the window.

"But you made them believe by rubbing your stomach as if you were pregnant as before" whispered Xavier.

For a moment Laurine fell silent and shrugged her shoulders indifferently. "They are easily fooled. Logically there is no pregnant woman with a thin body like me" said Laurine and switched to eating vanilla ice cream was given the waitress.

The waitresses of the ice cream shop bowed kindly to Xavier and Laurine who were stepping out of the shop.

They walked towards the parking lot where the car was stored while holding hands. Laurine gets into the car with Xavier who opens the door. Not to forget also Xavier made sure Laurine's head was not hit the top of the car by protecting the woman's head with one of his hands. Then Xavier walked in the other direction and got into the car.

"Oh my goodness, Laurine! You spent five bowls. It seems like tomorrow you have to get your teeth checked" Xavier grumbled as he put his seatbelt on Laurine.

"You're chatty" lamented Laurine. "Just eating four bowls of ice cream won't make my teeth toothpaste"

"It looks like you really like that vanilla-flavored ice cream huh" Xavier said.

"of course. I haven't had vanilla flavored ice cream in 7 years" Laureine said.

"Why?" xavier asked in confusion.

"Because it will remind me of you. All the things I used to do with you I never did again. Because it'll make me sad. I just remember and not to do it"

Laurine's voice was soft and Xavier sighed softly.

"Did our memories torment you so much?"

"Yes. Very"
