Prologue
05:47 PM. Cemetery.
Helena Hwang's.
The name is clearly on the gravestone.
Around the cemetery there are two men who stand at the front and around them there are many men dressed in all black and large bodies in charge of guarding their boss.
Either their boss is Xavier Kim or Dominic Hwang. Given that two young men are hostile and dangerous, strict guard is required.
The news circulated if the two big mafia clans were at odds was indeed true. But in order to appreciate the dead bodies in the land, they chose to ignore their own egos in order to commemorate Helena's death.
Need to be reminded again. Just for a while. Not long after this, a dispute will be between them again.
"Five years passed he left, while the one who killed him was still not found and lived freely roaming around. Isn't this unfair to him?"
Xavier opened the conversation between those who had just fallen silent with each other's thoughts.
Dominic chuckles cynically still chewing the gum in his mouth. "You're right. My poor cousin. Even the killer is now commemorating his death. He's here too. More precisely standing next to me" his cynicism made Xavier sigh in anger.
Marcus Yoon, who is Xavier's confidant, moves forward and suddenly makes Dominic's bodyguards more alert.
"Should I tell you how many more times? Xavier's not Helena's killer!" bela Marcus does not accept because Xavier has continued to be slandered for the past five years.
The movement of one of Xavier's hands hanging in the air made Marcus who had opened his mouth to speak again into silence. It was an order to stop talking.
The atmosphere was more gripping when Dominic and Xavier started dealing with a fairly close distance. Everyone was ready with a gun in their hands. Be wary if anything happens between Xavier and Dominic.
"It wasn't me who killed him" Xavier said calmly trying to contain his emotions and Dominic responded with cynical rascals.
"I don't believe"
"You think I could kill my own future wife?"
"Nothing is impossible for you. You didn't really want to marry her. Your betrothal happened for the sake of mending the relationship between two hostile groups. So, is there any reason I shouldn't suspect you of being my cousin's killer?"
"But I really didn't kill him!" xavier's hiss with a voice began to rise.
"Whatever you say, the fact is I always wanted to suspect you. However, not until you prove it by finding the real killer. If it proves you're not the killer, then I'll stop bothering you. And vice versa. If you haven't found the real killer yet, I'll still create a showdown between our groups"
"Are you giving me a challenge?!"
Xavier grinned. "I accept your challenge!"
Then they threw each other violent gazes for quite a long time. Accompanied by strong winds and the sky that began to darken.
A painful event will result in revenge. It is a normal cycle for people whose lives are filled with hatred.
War can happen anywhere and at any time according to them. Of course in the name of something that really does not need to be questioned, namely death.
Just accepting the provisions of fate was not something they could simply do. That doesn't seem to apply to people whose souls are already overpowered by demons.
Without real awareness, what they do is just make things worse. It concerns connecting an innocent person and destroying him as an outpouring of anger.
