Episode 29's

Asta watched Mayang who was standing looking at him curiously .

" Will you be my mother?" she asked slowly.

"Why ask like that ?."

"In the parlour every child is taken out and checked for his health, which means he'll be out of the parlour ."

"Have your friends come out of the parlour yet ?."

" Yes, there were many families who came to take me out, but Rika's mother always said that I had parents, and I was just asked to wait."

" What did the housewife tell you ?."

"I was just asked to be patient ."

" Has anyone ever met you, other than the family who would have brought you their family ?."

" I don't know, but I miss her a lot."

"Who ?."

Mayang pulled out a pendant and opened it and he showed a picture of himself with a woman Asta knew named Karina.

" Did this beautiful woman ever see you again ?."

" No, I just have this, and I miss him so much ?."

"Why don't you ask Rika's mother who the beautiful woman is and why she didn't come to see you again ?."

"The mother didn't even know and they reprimanded the guards for allowing anyone inside. And since then every guest who came had to leave an address and phone number that could be contacted.So maybe that's what made him not come again."

" Do you want to stay with us ?."

" Didn't you have children ?."

" Why ask like that ?."

" My friend said that if I was taken to a family that did not have children, it might be used as a bait so that they could soon have children."

Mayang sat next to Asta and he looked down at the hospital hallway.

" Mom, may I ask you something ?."

" What ?."

" Is Father fierce?" he asked pointing at Kevin.

" No, why do you think it's bad ?."

" The father was very sinister, in contrast to the father of the army."

" The Army's father isn't fierce ?."

" No, the father of the army looked at Mayang with a smile, while the Father was fierce," replied Mayang with a low look as Kevin looked at him sharply making Asta laugh.

From a distance Kevin noticed Asta and Mayang who were talking and he was surprised because Asta laughed .

" Would it be that simple, why Asta could talk to the boy while he was like keeping a distance from me" he said in his heart.

After several DNA tests they finally left the hospital because the results of the test can only be known one to two weeks later because only in an emergency results in a day.

" We will take Mayang first and then to the office." said Kevin to Asta who sat next to him .

" Hmm."

After escorting Mayang back to the orphanage, Asta receives a call from his older brother Rizky.

" Yes, what's wrong ?."

" Is Kevin with you now ?."

" Yes, Kevin was driving."

" Say I need to talk to her ?."

" May I hear it too ?."

" Yes, we just turn on the speakers so you two can hear them."

After Asta activates his speaker Rizky begins to convey the results of his investigation.

" From the information I got, Baby Karina died when she was one week old. Karina suffers from prolonged depression and finally she gets a daughter as a replacement for her dead son. But not long after he was diagnosed by a doctor that he had stage 3 cancer, he finally brought his son to the Birthday Home in hopes that he would meet Kevin later. And as Kevin said, Karina died four years ago. So Mayang is definitely not Kevin's daughter and I've been getting information from the hospital where Karina gave birth and where the baby is buried."

" Okay, brother, thank you for helping us" said Kevin

" I did it because of my sister. Did you know I was going to beat you up when I got my explanation from Big Brother."

" I know because that's what you were going to do in the hospital" Kevin replied.

" It's good that you're aware of it, and my advice is that you should tell anyone who's ever slept with you without using safeguards" Rizky said sharply before cutting off the phone.

" Did it be Mas Kevin who asked Rizky to find information about Karina ?."

" Sister Krisworo asked for it after getting simple information from me."

" I'm interested in Mayang."

" Astaaaa, you know I've been very uneasy about this, and you're now saying interested in her ?."

" I feel sorry for him, it seems like he has very high hopes of being taken out of the parlour, because any family would take her out Rika's mother always said that she had to be patient because her parents would come pick her up."

" Did he think we were his parents ?."

"I don't know, I saw a photo stored in his locket there was a photo of Mayang and Karina and there was a message of a little angel in my little prince's stead ."

" Why didn't you say that ?."

"I don't know, Mas can't we take Mayang out of the parlour ?."

" Asta, we both work while Mayang is already in school, then who will look after him ?."

" But we have three rooms in the apartment so we can use two empty rooms for Mayang's room and if we work Mayang can be with Mr. Toha. May be.." Asta's seduction made Kevin complain.

" We're talking after returning from Portugal" Kevin replied at last .
