LET ME GO MY HUSBAND

LET ME GO MY HUSBAND
CHAPTER 40 Worst Possibilities

Daffa looked tense as Nindi invited him to sit down. "How's it going, Ma'am?" greet Daffa mince words.

"Well, Daff, how are you?"

"As you can see. Daffa is fine, Ma'am."

"Thank God, then" Nindi added with a smile.

Then, Nindi called a waiter to order Daffa a cup of coffee, while she had already ordered it first when she had just arrived. "You want to order food maybe?" lontar Nindi's.

"No need, ma'am, thank you. Daffa was not hungry" said Daffa, politely declining Nindi's offer.

The conversation continued and began to lead to the point. Nindi told Daffa about the traumatic history that Andhira had experienced in the past. He told me everything without being missed. While Daffa, seemed to listen to every sentence uttered from Nindi's mouth carefully.

Daffa again swallowed the bitter pill of reality. He felt even more guilty when he found out the reason why Andhira was acting strangely after getting violence from him. His mind became unsettled. Sitting also looks very restless.

"Daffa, are you okay?" asked Nindi who read the gossip to Daffa.

"I-iya, Ma'am, Daffa is okay," he stuttered lying.

"Well, Daff. You know what I mean to tell you all this?" nindi.

"Why, Mommy?"

"Because a few days ago, after you came home. My mother called me asking to be found. And when I came, Mom started telling me about Dhira's worrying state." Nindi spoke slowly, but very clearly.

"I just want to ask and not judge. So, please answer truthfully, yes," please Nindi. Daffa nodded languidly.

"Has nothing bad happened to Dhira all this time? That's causing her attitude to be so strange?" ask Nindi with a gaze that was looking forward to an answer.

Daffa nodded slowly and resigned if he was scolded later. "Yes, Mother. Daffa treated him badly in the first few months of our marriage, and Daffa had no idea it was going to happen like this. Andhira often experienced things that Daffa did not understand. For a moment he will look very happy, but not for long he will be very sad, angry, even hurt himself. It's Daffa's fault, Ma'am. Forgive Daffa." Daffa admitted.

Nindi took a deep breath. Imagine how much his youngest sister had suffered all this time. Clear threads escaped from Nindi's netra niche that looked dewy and overflowing. In fact, Nindi was unable to say anything more.

"Now the rice has become porridge. There was no choice but to swallow it. Andhira is already injured and this will be difficult to overcome. Just saying sorry will not be able to restore his condition as it was, Daf."

"Yes, Mother. Daffa knows, Ma'am. Daffa accepted that even Daffa should be severely punished, but please do not separate Daffa from Andhira. Daffa is in love with Andhira, Ma'am," whined Daffa pleaded.

"If it's true that you love Andhira, you must help her recover from her depression, Daff."

"Daffa is ready, Ma'am. Anything Daffa will do is important Andhira is healed, and again please do not separate us, Ma'am."

"Daffa, about that one request of yours, the answer is none to me. Everything depends on Andhira" Nindi said.

"Lantas, how should Daffa, Ma'am?"

"First of all, you must help Andhira fight to heal. Second, you must be prepared to accept the worst possible situation. Because a person needs to avoid the cause of the disease that is on him when in an effort to cure. Third, strengthen your prayers in each of these endeavors, Daf. Hopefully you and Dhira can still be together."

Daffa's heart immediately felt like it was being hit by thousands of swords. What if Andhira doesn't want to stay with him anymore? What if the odds are bad it actually happened? How will he be able to get through his days without his beloved wife?

All that confusion reigned in Daffa's mind, and tormented him like a whip that afflicted him in succession. But what do you want to say? He started it all. So, inevitably Daffa must accept whatever will happen later.

"Daffa, I have an acquaintance with a psychiatrist. Maybe we'll contact him to help Andhira deal with her problem. So, please cooperate. For some time, let Dhira stay with mother first" Nindi said.

"Whatever it is, Ma'am. The important thing is that Dhira can be healthy and healed as usual" replied Daffa.

"And remember, Daf! All this will not be easy, so be patient, "remember Nindi. Daffa nodded obediently.

Even the conversations they had. Nindi came home in a taxi she booked. Meanwhile, Daffa drove his car at a crazy speed. The man went to a place to calm himself.

While shouting and throwing small stones. Daffa vented his frustration when he got to where he was headed. A lake located far from his home. Yes, there he shouted to vent the disappointment of the situation that was happening to him and Andhira.

"It's not what I want, God! Why should I accept it? Why?" his screams with the flames of growing anger burned through his own feelings.
