Abraham and Norman sat together in the living room. For a dozen years and after a long time of being enemies, this was the first time they had sat together like that.
Ana was sleeping in a baby wagon that they placed on the side of the sofa. Anatasha went back to sleep after being cleaned and given breast milk. The absence of experience made them both look chaotic, an experience that will not be forgotten.
"How did you get into a relationship with Renata?" ask Norman suddenly.
"Yeah, we were at odds. I don't really remember, I was captivated by the kindness he showed me!" answer Abraham.
"Hng, Emely used to like you. Don't you know?"
"I know, Norma. But I also know if you like it."
"I used to think Emely killed herself because you rejected her love and said cruel words that hurt her. That's why I hate you for causing his death."
"That's funny, Norman. Emely had never expressed her feelings for me, how could I refuse her love and speak words that hurt her?"
Norman was silent, but his laughter sounded. I don't know why he feels stupid, really stupid. His misunderstanding has ruined their friendship for a dozen years.
"I'm sorry to you, Abraham" he said.
Abraham was surprised, he even looked towards Norman. Was the man sane after being exposed to his daughter's urine?
"I was a fool not to believe what you said back then. I thought Emely committed suicide because of you" Norman said.
"That's it, no need to discuss. I know why you can accuse me of that. You love Emely but Emely likes me. Emely's death was suspected to be a result of suicide so it's natural that you suspect me and hate me, especially if you've succumbed to your feelings for her. After all, we didn't know Renata, but she was present when we started hating each other and acting as if she was the one who lost Emely the most that I was caught up in her deceit."
"Look, you're really stupid. You were even kidnapped by my sister and tricked by her!" cibir Norman's.
"That's a different case, Norman. I was just unlucky to meet him but I am grateful for what he did to me. You see yourself, after Emely's death you just stifled him so he rebelled and did a crazy deed!"
Norman sighed, yeah... Vanilla was like that because of her. If he doesn't curb Vanila then Vanila won't do anything crazy to harm anyone else.
"Once again I apologize to you for what he did" Norman said.
"No, thanks to him we could be like this. It could be said that he was the bridge between you and me."
Norman sighed again, a dozen years wasted. If not for her sister, maybe they are still in a misunderstanding and maybe they will never know who caused Emely's death.
"I will not let Renata go, Abraham. When I catch him, you can't stop me from punishing him!" said Norman.
"I'm not going to stop Norman, for a dozen years he's been cheating on us. I'll even end up with her so I won't prevent what you'll do to her later. If I find his whereabouts first, then I will surrender him to you and I hope you do not let him die so quickly that he lives in agony. It's worth what he did to Emely and to us!"
"You don't have to worry about this, but you have to be careful and take care of Vanila and Ana as well because I'm afraid Renata will come back to target them."
"I promise you, I will definitely take good care of them."
"Well, why hasn't Vanila returned yet? I'm hungry!" said Norman as he moved.
"You come and interrupt my work, take good care of Ana!" Abraham also moved and stepped into the kitchen.
Norman only looked at Abraham, had their friendship returned? Whatever it was, they already didn't hate each other anymore even this was their first time talking without having to fight for energy.
Abraham returns to make a delayed meal, while Norman helps after bringing Ana into the room. The two men were busy in the kitchen when Vanila returned.
Vanila was very surprised to find an unknown shoe in front of the house as well when she heard the conversation of two men inside. Is Bilt coming again?
"Sister, when did you come?" tanyakanya.
"You're back apparently, where's Marion?" ask brother.
"Marion has business. Why didn't you tell me if you wanted to come?"
"Do I have to give you a report first? Do I have to get your permission and I can come?"
"No, it's not, it's weird" why isn't her brother angry when Abraham is there? His brother should be angry at this time but why did he even look familiar with Abraham? Has their relationship improved?
Abraham approached Vanilla who seemed to distrust what had happened to their relationship. Not only Vanila, she also never expected where she and Norman would chat together without any commotion back again.
"Go take a shower and eat with us" he said.
"You're not going to have an energy fight, are you?" for some reason he became worried, afraid suddenly they were fighting for energy so that the kitchen became a mess.
"No" Abraham kissed her cheek, Vanilla's eyes were on her because she was worried that her brother was angry that Abraham was doing so and beat her but Norman did not see what Abraham was doing.
"Go take a shower, Vanilla. After the meal, there's something important I want to talk to you two about" Norman said.
"Well, has Ana had breast milk?"
"Of course, Ana just went to bed so go take a shower and then we talk" Abraham said.
Vanila nodded, before passing away Vanila looked at her brother for a moment. Her brother was not as usual, even though he was afraid that his brother was angry but all was unexpected. Vanila went to the bath with many questions at heart, she did not expect her brother would come today.
Before going out, Vanila checked the diaper used by her daughter. Abraham even followed him into the room because he had not yet come out.
"Are you not done yet?" tanyakanya.
"A little while" Vanila dried her wet hair, but Abraham took the towel in her hand.
"Let me," he said.
"When is my brother coming, Abraham?"
"Not long after you're gone."
"You two didn't fight, did you?" he hoped not but it didn't seem like it was happening.
"No, I told you that the misunderstanding between us is over."
"I'm glad to hear that. Honestly, I'm afraid you're angry when you find out you're here."
"No need to worry, he's not angry," the towel dropped, Abraham hugged Vanila from behind, "I'm so grateful to meet you, Vanila. You really have made the biggest change of my life" he said.
"really?"
"Yes, if it wasn't for you then we wouldn't be like this."
Vanila smiled, she was happy that their relationship had improved. After tidying up his hair, they immediately came out of the room and headed for the kitchen where Norman was already waiting for them to have lunch together.
