The Canceled Marriage

Not only were Vanilla's legs trembling, Vanilla's hands were trembling as well. His face looked pale, even though he was ready but he was terrified beyond measure. The situation he was going through at this time was much different from the situation when Abraham was angry and strangled his neck. "Tell me, Dean. What are you guys talking about?" ask Norman.

"Don't pretend you don't know, Norman. I think you know what happened to your sister!" said Dean.

"Vanila, are you hiding something from me?" Norman looked at his sister.Vanila was still frightened, Dean could see it. It seems like what she said was not wrong, Vanila deliberately conceived another boy in order to have their marriage annulled.

"It looks like I can't continue our marriage" Dean said.

"Why, Dean? Can you explain what really happened?" Norman still did not understand, he did not accept Dean canceled the marriage without any explanation for what happened.

"Why don't you ask your sister, Norman? He should have told you what happened before we came to propose that our arrival was not in vain and now, we will be the scorn of many!"

"Vanila, what are you hiding from me?!" Norman pressed his words and of course it made Vanila even more frightened.

"Java!" norman was angry.

"I-I asked Dean to cancel our wedding because of a-I?" Vanilla paused for a moment, but not long after that she said, "I-I'm pregnant."

"What?" Norman was surprised to hear his only child. Norman felt like he was thrown with a large stone in his head when he heard his brother's words.

Vanila ventured to raise her face, to see her brother's expression but she looked down again. Both her hands trembled violently after seeing her brother's expression that was so frightening. Both of Norman's hands were already clenched tightly, his eyes looking so frightening.

"Don't tell a joke that's not funny just to reject this wedding, Vanila!" said it. It's possible that Vanila told the lie to get him and Dean married off. He knew his sister's cunning wits, it could be a mere trick to deceive them.

"I'm not lying, I'm pregnant because that's canceling our marriage!" Vanila raised her face, venturing to see her brother.

"Vanila Elouis, how dare you?!" Norman approached his brother. He'll teach her a lesson but Dean holds her back so her intentions stall.

Dean was really disappointed when he was already very happy to be married to Vanila Elouis but a bitter pill that he had to get.

"Dean, this is not necessarily true. My brother could have lied to us. Don't leave before I check the truth because Vanila might not be pregnant!" stop Norman because Dean wants to leave.

"He's not lying, Norman. You can see for yourself, your sister is scared. For such a big thing he couldn't possibly lie!"

Norman looked at his sister with a stifled rage, he really did not expect this. Vanilla really embarrassed him. It felt like coming up to his sister and teaching him a lesson, but Dean was still there.

Had he known, he wouldn't have asked Dean to come over to discuss this but who would have guessed? Vanilla shows no symptoms at all if she is pregnant so she is not suspicious. "Here it is, it means that your sister and I are not a match even though I thought she deserved to be my wife. Assume I'm visiting and as a friend, I won't say this to anyone" Dean said, patting Norman on the shoulder.

Vanilla was unmoved, both of his legs limp. He didn't even feel like he had the energy to get out of his seat. Does he have to run away? No, running won't solve the problem. He will face whatever happens later. If only he had to be tortured and in prison even if he didn't mind.

Norman and Dean find their parents talking, planning where the wedding will take place. However, the wedding that will take place between Dean and Vanilla is a union of two countries so the wedding party must be held with great fanfare.

"Sorry to interrupt, I don't think this marriage can take place" Dean said, interrupting the conversation between his parents and Norman's parents.

"What's? What's going on?" ask mother.

"No, this marriage is not supposed to happen" Dean said.

"What's going on, Norman?" his mother asked, looking at her son with a look of wonder.

Norman sighed, he was really embarrassed but what could he do? All outside their will.

"Norman, what's going on?" ask father.

"Vanila's pregnant" Norman's words startled everyone there.

"No way!" his mother shouted in disbelief. He even cried and could not believe what his son had said.

"Is that true, Norman?" ask her father in a high tone.

Norman was silent, Dean was silent. They knew that what Norman was saying was not a trick. They could see if Norman and Dean looked so serious.

"Let's go home, the wedding's off" Dean said.

"I'm sorry for this" Norman said, bowing his body as deeply as possible in his apology.

"It's not your fault, Norman. We're not a match, though," Dean patted his best friend on the shoulder.

Norman could not say anything more, they ushered in Dean and his parents' silence. No one asked, they were silent but after Dean and his parents left, they went inside holding their anger.

They're headed for the room where Vanilla is. They did not expect to be humiliated like that and of course they will teach Vanilla a lesson that has made them feel ashamed. Not only did it embarrass them, but Vanila disappointed them.
