The knock on the door shocked Abraham, who was in the living room watching television. Abraham immediately lowered the volume of the television sound, he also looked alert because it could have been people who were out there looking for him.
At Vanilla's request, Bilt comes to knock on the door and frighten Abraham. Surely he did not want to do such a ridiculous thing but if he did not do it then Vanila would be as chatty as a mother-in-law. Instead of dizziness so just do it let alone he is always passing in front of the Vanila house.
"Is there anyone? I'm looking for a man!" Bilt tried to change his voice and came back knocking on the door as loudly as a debt collector. Acting has been very good, all because of Vanila's madness. He became compassionate with Abraham Aldway, hopefully the man did not hate Vanilla too much after his memory returned.
"Is there anyone?" Bilt back to the drill.
Abraham moved on slowly, it seemed like what Vanila said was very true if it was dangerous out there but to be honest he was tired of being at home doing nothing. He's also not feeling good about having to hitchhike in Vanila's house for so long. It feels like a loser who can't do anything.
The sound of knocking was no longer heard, out there it sounded so quiet. There was no one, so Abraham rushed into Vanilla's room. The girl was still sleeping, it was because she was so sleepy. After all, he had only slept at dawn, so he needed a lot of sleep.
Abraham got on the bed, he approached Vanilla slowly. His eyes did not escape Vanilla. He tried to remember something but it was difficult. He wanted to try to remember, he even got rid of the Vanilla hair that covered his face. Maybe that way he can remember something.
After getting rid of Vanilla's hair, Abraham's finger played on the girl's facial line. Yeah, he's done something like that before. That feeling he had once felt, a woman was always lying by his side. Again a longing filled the heart, a very deep longing.
"What's wrong, why do you look so anxious?" vanila's eyes were already open, a smile was adorning her face as she was so happy that she woke up to see Abraham's handsome face.
"Hm, no!" Abraham pulled his hand in a hurry.
"No way, have you remembered anything?"
Abraham sighed and leaned back on the bed. Vanilla also moved up and sat down nearby. He still looks sleepy, his hair even looks messy because he just woke up. Abraham glanced at him for a moment, the man tried to smile even though he felt very useless at this moment.
"Why look at me like that?" vanila asked as she shifted her seat so she could sit by Abraham's side.
"I feel so useless, Vanilla. As a man I feel so useless. I can't do anything, I can only trouble you."
"Hey, don't talk like that" Vanila hugged her arm and leaned back there.
"You don't remember anything, so don't blame yourself. Rather than you forcing yourself to remember who you are and who the woman who's always been in your shadow wouldn't we make new memories together?"
"How, Vanilla? I can't get out, someone's knocking on your door and it looks like that person is looking for me!"
"really?" Vanila looked at him. There was no way that the person knocking at the door was Abraham's man, it was probably Bilt who was doing his job well.
"Yeah, like you said, it's dangerous out there for me. I can only stay indoors all day until my memory recovers without being able to go anywhere."
"Who said, do you want a walk out?" ask Vanila.
"No, I don't want to take any chances."
"No need to worry, I'll buy you a disguise later. I'll take you to a nice place after I get home from work."
"Are you sure I'll be safe out undercover?"
"Have you lived here a long time, Vanila?"
"Of course, I was born and raised in this city" Vanila lied when she was just a runaway.
"You must be lonely because you live alone" Abraham embraced Vanila's shoulder, the girl a little surprised but a smile adorned her face Because she was so happy.
"Not really, I'm used to it because I love adventure."
"Oh, yeah? What do you like doing?" knowing each other like that is not a problem. There's nothing he's done anyway.
"I'm a nature lover, I love going camping. Oh, what if we go camping together? I think you'll like it, "maybe taking Abraham camping will give him memories that he won't forget later.
"Maybe I can remember something in the open" replied Abraham.
"Okay, the decision's been made. I'll find a good time and a good place. I will also ask for leave so that we can go camping and we will make new memories" said Vanila. A smile adorned her sweet face as she was glad Abraham agreed with her invitation. He will make wonderful memories that will not be forgotten along with Abraham later.
"Is it okay, Vanilla?"
"Of course not" replied Vanilla. Her sweet smile was growing.
"We should make new memories so that one day your memory has returned, you will not forget me" he said again.
"I will remember you, for sure" Abraham's hand moved up to give a swab at Vanilla's head.
"I can't possibly forget my helper so as long as this memory of mine hasn't come back, we make memories that we won't forget later on even if we'll split later."
Vanila smiled faintly, which Abraham said was very true. When Abraham remembered and knew that if he had made him lose his memory, Abraham would have hated him so much and they would have been separated by the distance. Although he really hopes it does not happen but he knows the risks of the actions he did.
"Alright, it's decided," Vanila raised both her hands up while yawning.
"I'm still sleepy, so I'm going to sleep again. You don't have to worry, as long as you don't open the door then no one will know where you are" Vanila said.
"May I join?" Abraham also lay on Vanilla's side.
"Are you sleepy too?" vanilla's gaze did not escape from him.
"No, I'm bored so I'd better go with you to bed."
Vanila smiled and closed her eyes, wanting to get into Abraham's arms and sleep in his arms but she was ashamed to do so. Let not Abraham consider her a cheap woman who can hug men easily.
Abraham was silent, looking at Vanilla's beautiful face. If her memory has returned and she does not have a lover, it seems that she can take Vanila to live with her even though she does not know where she lives but if she has any lover, he and Vanila can be best friends but when he remembers and knows who Vanila really is, will he still think so? It's impossible to add if Vanila's the one who made it that way.
