The Attack on XIII Palace

Just a moment ago, just as the Demon Coral met its end at the hands of Gentayu, something happened to Hao Lim's body.

Along with the moment of death of the legendary swordsman, the body of the former Red Dragon matriarch underwent a change. His body was covered in a dense blackish light. That blackish light shot out from his body, similar to smoke coming out from the burning of the husks.

The blackish light appeared for a moment. No more than ten seconds. Then the light slowly faded as if it was evaporating. Once the light had disappeared completely, Hao Lim's body immediately fell down on his knees. His breath seemed dull. Sweat flooded his body.

Sakuza and Yumiko who witnessed the end of the bizarre event were almost strangled in disbelief.

Hao Lim's face seemed to change completely. No more wrinkles and bleached hair. Wrinkles on the face and skin of his body that signifies his old age, disappeared replaced by tight and smooth skin. Her hair that had turned gray due to gray hair, had completely turned black. The woman's face and body, fully showing the body of a young girl. It was completely different from the Hao Lim they had known before.

However, their amazement and astonishment soon disappeared from their minds when they saw Gentayu collapsed onto the black river rocks.

The air suddenly became dark. Out of nowhere it came, thick black clouds seemed to shade the sky above them, shutting off the warm morning sunlight.

Not far from Gentayu's constantly floundering body, the black smoke that appeared and came out from the demon seal had manifested into a huge tall figure. It is still in the form of black smoke. While the devil seal in the form of a black jewel in the form of a pentagram is now in the hands of Gentayu.

The air suddenly became very cold. A strong wind blew, as if a storm was coming. While the black clouds in the sky grew thicker and expanded creating a morning that turned dark as if night was coming back.

The warriors of the Star of Hope alliance immediately leapt towards where Gentayu's body was floundering. They intend to help the young man who has been instrumental in eliminating the biggest and strongest enemy of the white stream, the Devil's Coral.

All the warriors look tense and anxious to see the condition of Gentayu. The conditions, similar to fish raised to the mainland by fishermen. But the most visibly anxious are Gentayu's fellow travelers, Yumiko and Sakuza, who have watched everything from the upstream side of the river since last night.

Hao Lim himself seemed to need some time to be able to get up from his kneeling position at this moment. I don't know what happened to the woman, but it seems that helping Gentayu is more important and urgent to do at this time than questioning Hao Lim's condition.

Yumiko and Sakuza immediately left the place. Intended to join in jumping and provide assistance to Gentayu, but Hao Lim's hand grabbed the shoulders of both of them. Prevent not to follow close to Gentayu.

“Danger..” is all that Hao Lim said. Still with his position on his knees and a face that looked slightly pale.

Yumiko and Sakuza intend to protest by removing Hao Lim's hand. Both wanted to question Hao Lim's attitude, but the question only reached the throat and could not be spoken because then the sound of explosions was accompanied by screams and screams around Gentayu's body lying.

The five swordsmen of the Hope Star alliance that preceded the other members suddenly bounced when their distance with Gentayu was only less than five meters away. An explosion threw them back to where they came from, even one of them slammed into a cliff on the river bank and fell into the water.

Seeing his comrades bouncing all over, the other dozen swordsmen instantly stopped their steps. Swordsmen in their front row even immediately formed energy shields when they saw a flash of light aiming towards them.

There was a loud sound of impact. The three swordsmen who had made an energy shield in anticipation of it suffered a fate not much different from the first five of their comrades. Their bodies were thrown backwards, although not more than five fathoms due to the impact.

The other eleven immediately formed the next energy shield when another flash of light returned towards them as well.

‘ZHUUUUUSSS..’

A rustling sound rang out as the flash of light came at them.

‘BRAGH!’

The sound of the impact was heard again. This time, the impact sounded louder and occurred several times. But their fate remains the same. Six people back. Three people were thrown into the trees on the edge of the forest, while the other three landed smoothly slamming the bodies of their comrades behind him.

“Everything..! Go from here...!!!” the voice of a woman.

Matriarch Lim shouted out loudly from where she was staying with her two comrades. His shrill voice rang out to all corners of the valley.

The warriors of the Star of Hope alliance were completely shocked and did not recognize the voice of the person warning them. But realizing the unfortunate conditions, they immediately obeyed the shout without having time to question or think about who the woman who dared to shout at them.

Tungkal Anom led the warriors darting and pulled away from Gentayu's body and the black figure that had now stood perfectly. In the pull over movement, they had turned to the source of the sound.

Seen by the warriors, a female figure in a red silk dress floated up to Gentayu's body.

The woman did not escape the attack in the form of flashes of light coming from Gentayu's body. But apparently, the woman was not affected. Just tilt his body left and right. Occasionally bend or lean slightly back to avoid. Looks calm and graceful.

All the eyes that were looking were amazed because not a single strike of strange flashes of light could touch the figure of the woman. While the figure of the willa who is none other than Hao Lim has now landed near the head of Gentayu.

The black figure that was manifesting from the black smoke of the demon seal was seen reacting.

The figure slowly faded and returned to black smoke, enveloping Hao Lim's body. The woman looked calm even though the black smoke had now completely covered her.

The body of Hao Lim, the former Red Dragon matriarch exuded a golden ray of light. The light shone on the eyes of anyone who saw it. In fact, the warriors in the class of Tungkal anom had to turn their eyes because they could no longer see the light.

Then, the earth shook. The shock felt increasingly rough as the golden light grew larger. Forming like a circle of eggs encircling the body of Hao Lim. The air began to feel hot, replacing the cold that had originally surrounded the place.

The surrounding air temperature slowly began to rise. Strong winds that were originally cold temperatures, are now getting louder but with warmer temperatures.

The golden light grew bigger, then it was clear that the black smoke that enveloped Hao Lim's body had collapsed again. Form again a black figure, tall and large. But this time, there were sparks that appeared on the body of the figure.

The black figure had bright red eyes. There was a part of his body that was still connected to the black jewel of the demon seal that was in Gentayu's hands. That is why, the Devil looks very weak because it is not yet ‘born’ completely back.

The strongest part of the demon was still inside the seal. And Gentayu with all his strength tried to hold the demon seal closed again. Though clearly, his strength was clearly impossible to lock the demon seal back alone.

Tungkal Anom, Ratna Mangali, and Pendekar with the title of Soul Rope immediately darted back to save Gentayu when he saw Hao Lim seemed only able to temporarily hold the demon figure to do further on Gentayu.
