CHAPTER 68

" I know who Sylvia really is !"

" You can't believe Sylvia's every word !" Alex is upset that Cantika didn't tell him what they were talking to him about.

" Yes, I trust you more, Alex. Than to Sylvia whom I just met this afternoon." Cantika replied with a cold voice.

     Hearing the words Alex was shocked. He felt that the Cantika standing before him was not the Cantika he knew.

      Alex stared at Cantika intensely, and it made Cantika ashamed, her heart beating faster. Finally Cantika lowered her head, trying to neutralize her heartbeat again. But Alex responds differently, with Cantika's actions. Alex feels that Cantika is angry with him.

" It seems you don't believe me" said Alex coldly.

     And that even made Cantika feel hurt. But Cantika really believes that Alex is a good person. Cantika raised her face and smiled at Alex. A smile full of wounds, in which he strongly believed in the person standing in front of him. But that guy doesn't believe in himself.

" Alex, here for a second. I have something to ask you !" Shouted Fatih in the doorway.

     Alex followed Fatih and left Cantika. And Cantika was still standing with a feeling of tightness in her chest. He did not realize that his tears had fallen down his cheeks. Cantika patted - pat her chest trying to relieve the pain in her chest. It hurts so much when we are not trusted by someone we trust.

     Cantika sat on the balcony of Alex's room which is now occupied by herself and her children. Cantika thought maybe by seeing the sunset, her feelings were better. There are many things that Cantika is thinking about.

     Alex who happened to be outside stood on the balcony of the room, which was next to the Cantika room. Seeing Cantika daydreaming. Even Cantika did not know that Alex was standing while watching her.

" Honey," she called out in her soft voice.

     Cantika was still silent not flinching with Alex's call. Alex was so afraid that Cantika would cancel her marriage with him. And Cantika chose to leave her. Because of Sylvia's incitement.

    William had arrived in Indonesia, and immediately came to the headquarters. He said as soon as he reached the airport, he called Fatih and got word of the attack last night. When Alex is going home, William tells that Sylvia is also in Indonesia. Sylvia immediately came to Indonesia after news from Arthur, that Alex would marry an Indonesian woman. And Alex didn't expect that Cantika and Sylvia's meeting would be this fast. Even Alex hasn't told Cantika of his past. His intention yesterday was to come home from the hospital. But even many people who participated in the Cantika house, so he paused.

    Alex still faithfully looked at Cantika's beautiful face from the side. The look of the face that used to be radiant with her sweet smile was now gone. And Alex looked sadly at Cantika. " Alex, if Cantika has told you she believes in you. Then you should be able to keep that trust."

" Mama knows Cantika isn't a wallow in the past."

" He's a good woman - well. So treat him well."

     Alex silently listened to Aurora's words. The shadow of his past in his brain. He buried it deep inside.

" Are you going to tell Cantika your past ?" Ask Aurora.

     Alex just kept quiet and looked at Aurora, with a sad look.

" What if Cantika can't accept my past ?"

" Do you want Mama to tell you about your past to Cantika ?" Aurora asked Alex.

     After that time, Aurora invited Cantika to speak with four eyes in the workspace owned by Khalid in the mansion.

" Cantika, Mama see you're not excited today. What's up ?" Ask Aurora.

     Cantika also tells all the events when he met Sylvia at the cafe. Alex's attitude changed.

" Do you want to know Alex's past story. Why did she have trauma to women ?" Aurora looked at Cantika.

" What did Mama say. If you're a good woman who's willing to accept Alex for who she is."

" But Alex wants you to know about his past. Do you still want to hang with him or go take him off. After knowing his past. Mama Sich is not Alex's fault. But Alex is a victim."

 " If that's what Alex wants. Okay Cantika will listen to the story." Answer Cantika.

" Where does this start ?" Aurora's confused.

" Starting from mommy who is very dear to Alex. Mom used to touch her."

" Alex and Willi want to join Fatih to the Mbah pesantren great-grandpa no !" Shouted Fatih in front of the guest room door. The three-year-old boy faithfully waited for his brother at the door of the room.

" Wah Fatih is ready - ready huh ? Alex just as Willi's still sleeping." Said the woman while squatting to equal her height with the nephew.

" Aunty Ana, are Alex and Willi going to join the boarding school with Fatih today ?"

" Wait for Aunty to wake them up first" Anatasya went from there to the bed where the two boys were sleeping.

" Alex.... Willis.... Do you want to go with Fatih to the boarding school ?"

" Tomorrow Ana, the highlight is tomorrow. Now we're going to the Ragunan Zoo with Arthur." William answered, still closing his eyes.

" Fatih said they would go to his boarding school tomorrow. Today go to the Ragunan Zoo." Anatasya.

" Did Fatih want to come to the Zoo ?"

" No Aunty. Fatih just wants to come with Mama."

" Then Fatih said goodbye." Fatih kissed Anatasha's hand with reverence.

" Aurora you are great at educating children." murmured Anatasya.

" Will Alex also be a good and polite boy like Fatih, huh ?" Anatasha asked herself.

Anatasya is willing to bulak - back Indonesia - America so that Alex and Willi can grow up together with Fatih his cousin's son whom he loves very much.
