CHAPTER 54

Alex was standing at the door with his sharp gaze pointing at Budiono and Dewi who were standing near Cantika. With his broad strides Alex walked towards Cantika then hid her behind his back.

" What are you doing here ?" Alex asked in a cold voice and his eyes stared intently at the couple.

 " We came here with good intentions." Said Budiono while raising both his hands a sign he was in a state of surrender.

" That's right. We're here to see you and apologize to you." This time the Goddess spoke.

" Do you have no shame, after what your family has done to our family." Alex's voice was high. 

    Hearing Alex's voice rising makes people there feel afraid. The pressing aura that emanated from Alex's body made everyone silently frightened including the Trio Kancil. Realizing her children were terrified, Cantika touched Alex's back trying to resuscitate him.

    Alex felt that someone was touching his back, he turned his head back. At the sight of Cantika who shook her head, and hinted that her children were frightened. 

"It looks like there's something we need to talk to in the other room Mr. Budiono !" Alex exited the room, and asked the Hospital to lend him the empty room.

    And now in the room there is Alex, Cantika, Ja'far, Sinar, Budiono, and Dewi.

" Uncle Ja'far please talk first about the case that happened fifteen years ago !" Said Alex.

    When Alex talks about Joseph to Khalid. Sinar asked not to report Budiono to the authorities, because he wanted to negotiate with Budiono and Dewi.

" Let me just get started, Dad !" Pinta Sinar on Ja'far.

" Do you know or know anyone named Yusuf Abdulmalik ?" Sinar asked while looking at Budiono and Dewi.

" It would be better if Mr. Budiono answered him !" Said Ja'far looking towards Budiono who was sitting in front of him.

    All eyes looked towards Budiono. And it made him even more nervous, his trembling hand hidden in his pocket.

" It's for your good, Mr. Budiono,"

" Tell us the truth what happened fifteen years ago ?" Ja'far became furious because since Budiono just silent.

" If you don't see your wife, it's my wife's dear sister. Then from yesterday I've reported you to the police."

     Budiono took a deep breath and exhaled slowly trying to reduce his nervousness.

Fifteen years ago.

    Budiono who at that time just stepped into the world of politics. He is one of the successful and career entrepreneurs as well as a representative of the people. He who is simple and easy to slang with anyone makes many people who like and sympathetic to him.

     That day there was a seminar at Hotel Matahari on "How to Develop a Business To Be More Advanced ". Yusuf and Budiono were also present at the seminar.

     After finishing attending the seminar, Budiono quickly walked towards the elevator, but there were many people who gathered in front of the elevator door.

" What's up, huh ?" Budiono asked the person standing next to him.

" Said the elevator is in repair. Because it just stopped - it stopped." Said the man glazed over his eyes and had a beard on his chin. Yes, he is Yusuf Abdulmalik.

" What do you want ?" Budiono was upset that his steps were stopped by an unknown man.

" I'm introduced to you is Damar. Her father Maya is the lover of your son, Gunawan." The man introduced himself.

" Oh. What do you need with me ?" Ask Budiono as calmly as possible.

" Do you know what your son has done to my daughter ?!" His shouting.

" What has he done to your daughter ?" Budiono's feelings began to feel bad when he saw the look on the face of the person who asked him to talk.

" He raped my daughter, and now she's pregnant !" 

    Hearing that Budiono was very surprised. Because he knew his son was a good teenager. He never heard or got any reports of his mischief. But he admitted that he did not know his son was friends with anyone. She even found out that her son already had a boyfriend. Because Gunawan is the type of home child who does not like to go outside.

" If it's better we talk about it in a family way." Budiono gave advice.

" no. I want your son to be responsible now. Marry my daughter !" Damar raised an octave of his voice.

" I have to hear what has actually happened from the mouths of those two children !" Budiono is not happy at this time there are people who talk shouting - yelling at him.

" But this afternoon your son should marry my daughter !" Damar insisted on his wish.

" No problem, I'll talk to Gunawan first."

    Budiono walked back on his way. But his hand was pulled by Damar. Then Damar mecenkram neck collar Budiono. And banging his body against the wall.

" I don't want to know anything. This afternoon your son should marry my daughter !"

" Or I'll tell the reporters that the son of a famous politician and businessman has committed rape and made a girl pregnant !" Threaten Damar with a high voice.

" You don't threaten me. If my son is guilty, he must be held accountable. But marriage is not a play. And it also takes preparation to do it." Budiono pushed Damar so that the grip on his neck collar was released. 

" I'll wait for you at my house. Take your daughter, and we'll talk about this same thing." Budiono ended his talk and walked back.

" I know you have a daughter too. I'll avenge your son !" Damar shouted threateningly and it made Budiono very angry and turned to step towards Damar.

" Don't you dare harass my daughter !" Shouted Budiono while strangling Damar.

" That's so you know how I feel right now "Damar even returned Budiono's giggles.

    There was finally a struggle between the two of them on the emergency stairs. And accidentally Budiono who was under the Kungungan Damar kicked him.

" Brug !"

     He kicked Damar so hard that he fell backwards, and fatefully fell down the stairs down with his head falling first. 

" Crew !" I heard a broken voice.

     Damar lying on the lower stairs did not move at all and it made Budiono panic. He quickly went downstairs to check on Damar. While under Budiono check the pulse and breath of Damar, but no longer there. And I can confirm that he is dead. The panicked Budiono quickly ran down the stairs. And when at the door of the emergency stairs, Budiono who was about to open the door. It turned out that simultaneously from the opposite direction of the door was also pushed by someone, namely Joseph. The frightened Budiono immediately ran and did not look back again.

    Tomorrow, many people reported that they had found the body of a man on the emergency stairs of Hotel Matahari.

The terrified Budiono told a friend about what had happened and what he was doing. Then his friend told him to watch over Joseph. Do not let Joseph report to the police that he had met him at the court of law. Because it's dangerous for him. And Budiono did what his friend told him.
