CHAPTER 23

Arga came to pick up Cantika in the evening. Since the party was about to start at nine in the evening, he came around eight. Her mother asks her to attend her Papi's friend's invitation, because Papi and her Mama have a sudden affair. Seen the atmosphere of the Cantika house is so quiet. Like there's no one there. When he knocked on the door, someone opened it from the inside.

"So, we're leaving now, Mas," Cantika said as soon as the door opened.

"Come on!" invite Arga to smile to see the appearance of Cantika who is so beautiful despite dressing modestly.

"So at home it feels lonely the children are asleep?" ask Arga while driving.

"They were with Mentari to Uncle Ja'far's house. If Styles are busy because they want to follow the fashion show. While Mang Jaka and Bi Euis this morning permission to go home because his parents entered the hospital," Cantika said while watching the road in front of him.

"I think it's difficult, can Mas face Mr Budiono?"" Cantika asked while looking at Arga's eyes.

     Cantika and Arga have arrived at the hotel ballroom where the party was held. At first they entered the room already felt something strange. Everyone was staring at him.      Cantika was surprised then looked at Arga who was looking at her surprised expression as well.

"What does this mean?" ask Cantika.

"Mommy what does this mean?" Arga was eager to vent his anger, but could not. However, Arga did not want to hurt the feelings of the woman who had given birth and cared for him.

     In the hotel room that has been provided for the family of prospective men. Arga, Andi and Anita, and Cantika sat together. 

"Today you will be engaged to Anggit!" andi's orders.

"Well Auntie, Cantika will release Arga!" Cantika said with a sore heart and was sure she would regret letting go of the man she loved.
