JUDITH

JUDITH
BEGINNING OF A NEW STORY

At that time Yudith only wanted to dismantle the fraud that was in his dorm, but it was never expected that it would spread everywhere, until finally the foundation officials actually intervened to conduct an impromptu mass audit to each dormitory outside the complex headed by a lay nurse.

The results were amazingly surprising. The practice of child administration and dormitory administration is not anything to go wrong. The items listed in many inventory books are either non-existent or not on record, and when questioned most of them are simply silent, making the auditors even more furious.

Those who are trusted to carry out noble duties have betrayed, there should be no mercy. However, at the generosity of the foundation's founder, a Belgian pastor, the nurses were given a second chance with terms and conditions in place.

They must routinely and orderlyly fill the administration of children, and must no longer commit the same offences or other fatal offences. If one day they are caught committing another violation then they will be immediately expelled. For employees who are still in the stage of returning the bond of service, the bond of service they used to receive will be removed and he is obliged to return everything before leaving the foundation.

A large meeting held a week after a major audit was conducted decided that:

1) The Department of Dormitory Mothers can only be given to nun sisters.

2) The senior nurses or employees are returned to the special dormitory of nurses and only come to the children's house for picket duty from six in the morning to nine in the evening.

4) The evaluation of the child's daily observation should not be postponed, carried out every night after eating under the supervision of nuns.

And there are many more other rules that increasingly make the nurses employees dizzy because they feel depressed. There are even some employees who have paid off the bond of service, who were still willing to work at the foundation because they felt reluctant to look for work outside, immediately resigned.

The decision of the meeting also opened a new story at Mulia Harapan Foundation. Because the dormitory in inadequate to accommodate all employees who number in the hundreds, finally the school building where the boys learn is changed to function as a special employee dormitory. So students who have always been separated in the learning process, finally combined.

And the impact of the new policy is the ineffectiveness of the prohibited rules of dating.

The school has become more lax, emphasizing only on not exceeding reasonable limits. Actually, there's nothing to worry about. What they can do inside the foundation. At most just sitting together or if more intimate just holding hands.

And as planned, Yudith was returned to the dormitory. At the request of Mr. Heru who did not want Yudith increasingly hated his friends, he returned to being an ordinary student whose focus was only school and picket to the children's dorm in the afternoon.

However, in reality a small responsibility was still placed on Yudith, as the child administrative person in the dormitory where she was to undergo picket at the request of Sister Rosa.

A new beginning for Andrew and Judith begins here. Although only vague, but can be seen existence, especially for those closest to you. They became more familiar and Andreas was very attentive to Yudith.

This morning, after getting off the school bus Andreas stepped a little hastily down the paved road in front of the complex that was already crowded by children of Elementary School, Junior High School, and PLB.

In addition to the bag hanging on his left shoulder, Andreas also carries a plastic bag on his right hand.

"An, woe, here you are!" From near the canteen, Ririsma's voice was so loud, it was clear even though the distance was still quite far.

The corner of the boy's lips was pulled to the side when his brown iris found Yudith.

"Dith, it's the same phone for breakfast." As soon as he arrived, Andreas immediately placed a plastic bag right in front of Yudith who was seriously reading his favorite mystery novel.

Yudith looked at Andrew. "Thank you, An," he said softly and flatly.

"Cie, cie, cie ...."

"Smile dong, Dith. Ah, you're mah."

Notwithstanding the temptation of Sister Vero and Ririsma, Andrew sat down next to Yudith who had returned to pursue her novel.

Such is. Many changes in the life of Yudith or its surroundings, but not necessarily a significant change in Yudith. He still doesn't talk much, is calm, and has a world of his own.

Andreas looked at Yudith with his chin up. In a lowered position, Yudith's lips looked very cute. The sharp philtrum makes her upper lip protrude sharply as well.

"Dith."

"Hm."

"Pretty."

Yudith glanced at Andreas without lifting her face, there was no expression on her sweet face, just a glance at Andreas. After that, focus on the book.

"Cieeeee! Andreas hit the gas!"

"Lo don't just shut up, Dith! Reply ... Lo is also handsome, An!"

Yudith ignored those who were teasing her, staying focused on reading even though her feelings were a little mixed up. Like there's a spider crawling inside its belly-slices and tickles.

When he felt the hand he had piled on the chair being gently grasped, his heart immediately timidly and involuntarily squeezed out his finger.

Thinking Yudith was returning his hand, Andreas's heart suddenly turned into a field of colorful flowers complete with flying butterflies.

From a distance, Ratna watched their togetherness with a wry feeling. He hates Yudith more and more and more and more popular with the many cases that have happened to him.

In fact many voices were heard, his friends - both serious and just joking - saying that Yudith was their hero, because due to the actions of Yudith now they could meet the students every day.

And now many of those who had also disliked Yudith suddenly pretentious, like to smile when passing by.

The more arrogant the heart of Ratna, but now he does not want to carelessly prank Yudith. Wrong, he can even do it himself. Moreover, Yudith had two loyal friends who always put up a body for her, Sister Vero and Ririsma. Plus Andreas is also clearly always on his side.

There is always a positive and negative impact of an action. It was natural and natural, and that was also what Yudith had experienced.

In the days that followed, a new, fairly gray sheet unfolded for Yudith. His name is now the subject of conversation among the officers. Many of them were curious about the girl. Those officers hated Yudith as much as Bu Cici hated him.

"Ooo, so that's what Yudith's name is, I'm afraid because I feel special as his innate disciple Mr. Heru."

"His face is cruel, his nature is also bad."

"Pantes the hell if the handyman ngempe."

"Basic licker."

"The sticky feeling is true for the son."

"Makanya Cici says she's nervous."

"Say she's also acting pretty pretentious in front of Jonas and Martin."

"Aish, when it looks so pious."

And many more. Sister Vero, Ririsma, Andreas and Fitus who sometimes listen, can not do anything even though they really want to. Judith forbade them to act.

"This loo is really. Can't stand their babble." Ririsma murmured after the umpteenth time that day hearing hate speech from the officers sitting in groups near the canteen.

"What did Yudith say? Scramble it." Among the resentment and disgust at Yudith's attitude, Sister Vero made a joke by demonstrating the monkey's movement in a scratch.

"That's not pecking, Sus. But scratch," said Fitus with a sour face.

Andrew kept watching Yudith. In the position of the girl's head lowered, Andreas saw her eyelids flashing rapidly, like he was trying to prevent her tears from falling.

Is she crying?

With his current situation, it was only natural and normal for Yudith to cry. Andreas finds it strange to see Yudith seem too hard on herself.

"Dith, there's our place to share. Don't keep it to yourself." Andreas's words made the others instantly pay more attention to Yudith.

"Dith, you're not a papa, are you?"

"Look, don't hold it."

You are not alone. That sentence felt very meaningful and made Yudith's chest suddenly like swelling. He had heard of it before from Sister Vero and Ririsma. Luckily he had them.

Two tears that Yudith failed to hold were finally flowing into her cheeks. Hurriedly the girl rubbed it and stood up.

"I went to the toilet."

"Dith!"

"Leave it." Sister Vero prevented Ririsma from pursuing Yudith.

"How is that. Poor people'e's son." Fitus stared sadly at Yudith's departure.

Andreas pensive. He could finally see the other side of the girl. As loud and firm as it was, Yudith was still an ordinary man who had a weak and melancholic side.

When he returned, Yudith's eyes turned red, but they said nothing to comfort him. Yudith was not the type to be comforted because she felt pitied.

That night after dinner Yudith went to the wartel to call her mother. His feelings for a moment got better, but when he was lying in bed, a sense of loneliness that made him feel sorry for himself again slipped in the recesses of the heart.

He hurriedly came out of the room and went to the already deserted study room. There he sat on the floor hugging his knees. Without being prevented, the tears that had been trying to contain him from last afternoon, now spilled out. Yudith sobbed, but kept trying to control her voice.

Sister Vero who had seen Yudith come out rushed after him. Finding his best friend who always looked tough now was crying as much as he could, Sister Vero's heart became filled.

She must have reached her limit, that's what Sister Vero thought. He slowly approached and sat down beside her.

"Once in a while crying's okay, too, Dith."

"I didn't mean to bring anyone down." Among the sobs, Yudith choked.

"I know, the foundation officials know too. Only those who feel wronged don't want to know."

"I don't want to be a good ass."

Sister Vero chuckled small. "It's said that the pretentious is that the real thing isn't good, Dith. You're actually good, so that's not a good-ass term." Patting Yudith on the shoulder, Sister Vero again said, "Take the right action, Dith. And it is common for people who like to oppose the flow of it must be a lot who do not like."

"But I'm sad every time I hear them say I'm nervous."

"Just ignore that. You and Andrew are never alone. You don't have to think too much about what people say. If no one wants to be friends with you, there's still me and Ririsma."

It was strange to advise Yudith that way, but all this time Sister Vero often nagged because Yudith was too indifferent to all the bad rants directed at her, now at a time when Yudith was honest about her heart, he advised Yudith not to think about it.

"Thank you, Ver." With wet eyes, Yudith looked at Sister Vero. In his heart he felt lucky to have two friends who were really always there for him.

With his personality that is difficult for others to accept like that, Yudith could not imagine what it would be like if he did not have any close friends in a foreign place far from his mother.
