"How are Alice and her baby?" Anton asked the doctor Maria who had come out of the action room after checking Alice's condition.

"Alice!" Anton shouted and was about to enter into the action room.

"Doctor Anton, I know you're worried right now but I beg you to calm down first if you want to go inside." Said the nurse reminded when Anton's face was pias and looked riled up.

"I'll help Maria doctor inside." Say the nurse again and enter the action room.

Anton who heard that just stared and looked at the door of the action room was closed.

"Can I go inside if something bad happens? But do I have the heart to let Alice fight on her own.. Nah! Nah! I must be strong! I am a husband! I'm a Dad! And I'm a doctor too!" His words convinced himself.

But before Anton calmed himself by taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly for three times and then the man entered the action room.

Anton can see in the room that several nurses were busy to and fro to help deal with the bleeding that Alice experienced.

"Doctor Anton.. I'm sorry, the bleeding is so great.. Her baby could not be saved.. I tried a few things but it still didn't work. And the only way to save Alice right now to stop her bleeding is with Curetase." Alice's face looked pale with an oxygen hose on her nose.. The beautiful white wedding dress has been changed with patient pajamas but now only attached to the top. One of his hands was attached to a liquid infusion and one of his hands was attached to a blood transfusion.

"You have to be strong and survive.. I need you." Anton whispered in Alice's ear.

"I'm sorry for my negligence for not being able to look after you guys." He said again while peeping Alice's temple again.

There is no word on his wife.. Alice was still under the influence of an anesthetic, yet somehow a single tear escaped dripping from the corner of her eye.

Anton who saw it removed the clear droplets and again kissed Alice's forehead.

"I'm right here.. I will always accompany you, so don't leave me." His murmur whispered in Alice's ear while grasping Alice's warm hand.

Some time later, the action was completed. Alice is back in tidying up her clothes and arranged in such a way that the girl is comfortable when she wakes up later.

"Thank God the curettage operation is over and we just need to observe the bleeding again." Said doctor Maria.

"Yes, thank you so much, Doctor Maria." Anton smiled warmly at the woman's doctor.

"I'm so sorry for your baby.. You need to stay strong and strengthen Alice you can definitely get through this ordeal." Maria said and hugging Anton's body calmed the man down.

Anton steps out of the nursery and immediately searches his phone all over his body but is unable to find it. Unhappen when he came out there was Alex who was standing right outside that door.

"Master.. You all right?" Alex asked worriedly at the look on his master's face ashen.

Alex took the initiative to prop up his master's almost limp body and sit him in the waiting room chair of the opration room.

"I'm not in good shape Alex.. Did you see my phone? Or give me your cell phone." Anton ruffled his hair again.

"This is your cell phone, sir.. I took it in the car." Alex hands Anton a black phone.

Anton immediately contacted his parents and told Alice the prihal that had been found and the news of Alice's miscarriage. Lida who heard the news was sad and devastated as well as her two sisters-in-law. But they all promised to help Alice and calm the girl together.

📞"We'll be there soon." The words from Lydia as the phone call ended.

After contacting some of his family, Anton immediately took care of the funeral of their fetus in a place not too far from the new house that will be occupied by them later after the wedding. But now the hope of living in the new house seems to have to be postponed, Anton is unlikely to let Alice alone at home. After completing the funeral procedure, Anton rushes back to see his wife Alice. His mother told him that Alice was conscious and had been transferred to the Presidential treatment room.

"I have a little business." Anton calms Alice down.

"Ohh what business?" He asked in surprise, but Anton was still reluctant to explain.

"Ehem.. Alice.. Dad, Mom and sister-in-law went out for a while." Said Lydia cutting off the conversation and choosing to get out of the room.

Lydia and the others knew they needed time to be alone and to strengthen each other.

"Ahh well then ma'am." Alice said according to.

"Anton.. We're down first." Said Bram and got a nod from Anton.

Lydia, Bram, Sisil, Amanda and their husbands came out of the treatment room.

"Anton.. What the hell's going on? I asked them where you were going, and no one was going to explain it to me.. Not even one of them would want to explain my condition." Alice said at length.

"Honey.. Sorry.." Chirping Anton while looking straight at Alice's bead.

"Sorry for what? Anton I don't understand?" Alice said but her eyes suddenly condensed. I don't know why the feeling isn't good about this.

"Alice.. My wife.. Forgive me for my negligence.. Our baby.." Anton said hanging doesn't finish his sentence.

"No! Nah! You must be double-doubling?" Alice refused what came to her mind. Anton just stared softly at Alice's bead.

"NO!!" Shouted Alice hysterically.
