Alice entered the meeting room, several Directors and Division Managers each stood up and bowed their heads respectfully to Alice. Alice replied to him briefly and allowed them all to sit back in their respective seats.

"I'll just go straight. I am Adeliana Fransisca Baskoro who currently serves as President Director, I hope cooperation from all of you. I will just tell everyone, if anyone disobeys my orders or tries to fool me, I will immediately dismiss him disrespectfully and give him away without severance. Haven't you heard it before from the Monic secretary? So please help his cooperation. I'll overhaul the entire system beforehand." Alice said firmly.

"Well, let's start with the finance division." Alice said quickly and let the finance section explain everything briefly and clearly.

Alice who read the data in her hand raised the corner of her lips and then cut the slightly old-looking man with a bulging stomach.

"Aren't you Mr Kunjoro? You've held the finance division for 10 years. Looks like the longer you serve, the more your quality decreases." Cut Alice cruel and cynical.

"Miss Alice, even if you are a President Director, your words are very bad for people who have worked and served in this company for a long time." Kunjoro said with emotion.

"really that? Should I apologize to the rat who was full of gnawing at the rice barn that had been feeding him?" Alice said sharply and cynically.

Kunjoro who heard that was a little surprised and widened his eyes, but with a flash he was able to change his expression and return to blaze.

"Let Mr. Kunjoro clean up his things and accompany him, don't let him get rid of the evidence." Alice said firmly and suddenly entered two officers in black and drove Pak Kunjoro out of the room.

"Miss Adel.. Miss Ade.. Please give me one more chance.." Kunjoro said on the sidelines begging him while being led out of the room.

Blam it! The door closed again and the room became silent for a moment. They all lowered their heads and felt a little tense towards the new kid who turned out to be much more resolute and ruthless.

"Ahh this silence is much better.." Alice said coldly and then looked at the other directors.

"Are we continuing what about the marketing division?" Say Alice and invite the head Marketing Manager.

The meeting ended after 4 hours in the meeting room. On Alice's first day leading the company, the girl had already fired 6 people who had harmed the company and imposed a strict two-month salary cut on three people who had committed misdemeanors.

Alice, Galih, Juna, Roy and Immanuel walked towards the exit of the room. Everyone inside the meeting room seemed to sigh in relief, when they saw Alice's entourage had left the room.

"Alice can we talk to you both?" Imanuel said as Alice was about to enter her office.

Alice enters the office room followed by doctor Imanuel, while Galih chooses to wait in the room Monic while looking after Alice, while Juna and Roy choose to go to see his men who are placed in the BBC company.

"Uncle looks serious.. What's the matter uncle?" Alice asked as she looked at the look on Immanuel's face slightly tense.

"Alice I'm sorry maybe I sounded mixed up. But trust me, I'm just worried about you. When I found out about your blood test I accidentally saw your high HCG test. Are you really pregnant? or something else?" Ask doctor Immanuel to confirm again to Alice.

"Rightly uncle I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant." Alice answered honestly with a warm smile.

"Alice.. Do you know what you're doing could put you and your baby-to-be in danger? You take down Fiktor and kick all of Fiktor's accomplices, sooner or later they're going to attack you directly." Doctor Immanuel, who now seems more worried.

"Uncle need not worry. Not if you want to pluck weeds must get to the roots so that they can not grow again. Uncle take it easy, everything I have planned in such a way that I will not make mistakes that make me wretched uncle. Uncle just take it easy." Alice calmed the old doctor.

"Alright then, it's late afternoon.. I go home first, there's something I have to do." Immanuel said again and then left Alice's room.

After Immanuel's sudden departure, Alice's phone rang someone with an unknown number contacted her. Alice frowned in surprise but the girl kept sliding the green button and held the phone close to her ear.

📞"Hello my dearest nephew.. Looks like today you feel very powerful huh? You dare to dump some people who have worked there for a long time. You're really great." Praise the voice of the woman with a cynical tone on the other end of the phone.

📞"Belinda.. Just go ahead, what do you want?" Ask Alice straight to the point. The girl was already quite tired with her work all day, if she added that she had to make small talk with the old woman, it seemed like she would not be able to.

📞"Heh fine if it wants you. Quickly resign from the company can you?" Belinda said cynically.

📞"Tante Belinda.. Didn't you already know that this company belongs to the Baskoro family? why should I give it to the Stary family." Alice replied in a slightly mocking tone.

📞"You're exactly like your own ignorant mother!" Maki's voice on the other end of the phone.

📞"Jaga your speech aunt Belinda." Alice said growled to hear her mother being despised like that. But Alice was still trying to patiently face the old woman.

📞"Hehh I heard you came to Baskoro's funeral.. You know, you look pathetic hugging and crying on an empty grave!" Belinda said in a mocking tone and then laughed happily.

📞"What does aunt mean?" Alice asked quickly, who was confused by Belinda's words. Empty tomb? Wasn't what he was hugging this morning his mother's grave? What's the matter? What the hell is going on?

Questions lay in the recesses of Alice's heart, but Belinda did not answer the girl's question. Belinda just laughed.
