"What's Al?" Ask Anton curiously.
"Kak Juna said that Maya has been home since noon and Kak Juna will go to his apartment and want to borrow my car which happens to be the key left to him." Alice Obviously.
"Ohh.. Why would she bother going to Maya's house just to see her coworkers?" Anton asked confusedly.
"Why? You jealous?" Ketus Alice's.
"Huh? Not that, I just wonder why he still has to follow Maya to his place to visit her these nights. Can't it be tomorrow afternoon." Obviously Anton was quick because he didn't want Alice to misunderstand him.
"Kak Juna again approached Kak Maya, even during Kak Maya's hospitalization, Kak Juna who always took care of her." Alice Obviously.
"Ah.. Is that so.." Anton said and then the man was a little stunned.
"What are you daydreaming about?" Alice ripped off Anton's daydream.
"Nothing." Anton lied.
"Ohya, this is your phone, and Paul gave me this phone before." Alice hands Anton a black cell phone, the man picks it up and puts it on his bedside nightstand.
"Thank you for always accompanying me and taking care of me." Anton said as he looked directly at Alice's round eyes.
"Sorry.." Alice said softly.
"Sorry for what?" Anton asked confusedly.
"Sorry because of me, you're hurt.. I'm sorry I hurt you with all my harsh words, and I don't even want to hear any explanation from you." Alice lowered her head. Her tears began to fill her eyes.
"I understand your feelings and even I understand the decisions you make. I knew you were hurt at the time, and I was driving that car anyway. The reality remains that way and will not change." Anton said with a slightly wounded smile on his face.
"Anton me.." Alice had not finished her sentence yet but Anton had already cut off the girl's speech.
"You don't need to feel guilty about yesterday's incident, I did it purely because of my own decision because of humanity. Nothing to do with you. You go home and rest it's night." Anton flat.
Anton says that because he did not want to make Alice feel guilty about the gunshot wound earlier because he was protecting the girl. He did not want to hurt the girl again, if it was close to him it must be that the girl was reminded of both her parents. He more did not want the girl to feel guilty towards him and be by his side out of pity. Anton also has not been able to forgive himself because of the mistake of the accident. Shackled by the sin in his heart that he could not yet let go.
Alice who heard that was stunned and her tears spilled down her cheeks. Alice thought Anton didn't want her to be by his side because it was too dangerous and would be hurt if he was with her.
"I understand.. But my car is on Kak Juna, tomorrow he will pick me up. For tonight let me stay here." Alice said stiffly and wiped away the tears that had soaked her cheeks.
"..." - ".Anton did not answer anything and Alice did not care about the man's answer. The girl stood up from her seat and went into the bathroom.
Alice turned on the water tap and shed her tears there.
"Damn!" Run Anton and shuffle his own hair.
After waking up from his coma, Anton gets all his memories lost in an accident 10 years ago. The man tried to stay happy and cheerful while being with his family. But when they were gone, Anton felt pain and hurt as if he had just experienced it. The strengthening guilt within him made him unable to get near the girl.
"Damn! Damnit damnit! What should I do.." He said softly because he himself knew he had just hurt the girl's feelings.
Alice, who was in the bathroom after shedding all the tears she had left, rinsed it with running water. After that Alice wiped it with a towel there and then gave a little powder on her face to cover the redness of her nose due to crying earlier.
"You must be strong Al.. Now that you have it, he is your greatest strength. Although you can't be with Anton, you have little Anton." His words encouraged himself while rubbing his lower stomach gently.
"Sorry mom cried, are you okay? Mom promises after this mom won't cry anymore." His words slowly promised to themselves.
Alice came out of the bathroom with her flat face. The girl put her sling bag on the table and sat on the sofa.
"I'm a little tired.. I'll go to bed first. Don't mind me, you can rest." Said Alice flat.
"You can sleep on that bed." Said Anton on a mattress not far from his bed.
"No need, this couch is enough for my body and it's soft.. I'm ahead." Reject Alice and lay her body on the sofa while turning her back to Anton's body.
Slowly a fine snoring sound was heard in Anton's ears.
"It seems you're really tired." He and the man said while looking at Alice's back who had been sleeping soundly.
Anton moved his body to shift his body on the mattress but it felt a little stiff and heavy.
"Damn! It seems like my body is getting a little stiff." He said and preferred to take his phone to contact Paul.
A few minutes later Paul arrived in Anton's room.
"Thank God your master is not conscious." Paul said and bowed respectfully as the man arrived in front of Anton.
"Paul help me carry her and put her in bed there. Get that bed up here." Anton's orders when he sees a bed next to his bed. The bed is reserved for the patient caretaker.
"Yes sir.." Say Paul and clean the mattress first to be brought closer to Anton's mattress, then Paul walked up to Alice.
Paul carefully embraces Alice's body and lifts the girl's body. Paul walked slowly towards the mattress beside Anton and placed slowly and carefully the girl's body on the mattress.
"Thank you Paul." Anton.
"Together sir." Paul answered briefly.
"You can rest." Said Anton again.
"Good.. Excuse me sir.." Paul said and left Anton's treatment room and closed the room.
Seriate....
