#8 First Expedition (REVISION)

A week later,

I've been here for a few days now, finally,

The Amdis Alliance

After going through a period of training that was quite difficult and exciting, we were all given a small pin in the form of a golden horse by Commander Lucian.

Both of his legs were raised to the sky which symbolized spirit and unyielding. This is in the sense that we are officially already a member of the Amdis alliance.

At 10:35 in the morning.

Several members of the alliance were ordered by Commander Lucian to suddenly gather in the meeting room as there was an important matter to discuss together.

Me, Louis, and Simas were ordered by Commander Lucian to head for the meeting room immediately.

"I haven't finished my bread!" exclaimed Simas, who was in a hurry to eat because there was a sudden meeting.

The sound of footsteps was clearly heard in every corner of the meeting room. Most of them I don't know very well and just say hello to names.

Tumben once Commander Lucian called us.

After a few minutes, Commander Lucian and Captain Jan entered the room. The smell of chocolate smelled right in my nose as Captain Jan passed me by.

One of the seniors carried an old large map and spread it over a round table. It's full of code I don't understand on that map.

"This time we will have an expedition" Commander Lucian said. Suddenly the atmosphere became silent for a moment. There was only Commander Lucian's voice echoing in every corner of the room. The continuously rotating fan was watching this meeting.

"Ekspedition to Kimo Village" he continued, showing a region with a long wood.

"We must take over the village from the demons before they take over more territory than humans!" emphatically. "This village is quite filled with high forests and most likely many demons nesting within it."

"The jiang is a great time to go on an expedition because they are quite weak during the day."

Captain Jan was just observing Commander Lucian's conversation. His face looked serious.

"That means we have to get back before night time?" ask one of the alliance members to Commander Lucian while raising his hand.

"Yes" he answered briefly. Suddenly the meeting room was full of whispers of people.

"Now we'll split the team first" he said.

Each member is divided into several squads and accompanied by its squad leader. One team has 8 teams. There were 2 Alta, 2 Ignatius, 2 Odora, and 2 Greer.

Squad Commander Illyana leads the rear-line squad. Commander Lucian and Captain Jan are among the frontline squads who will lead the expedition.

"Clement, you're leading a left-wing team!" commander Lucian called Senior Clement to lead the left wing. His face was expressionless and flat upon hearing the orders from Commander Lucian.

I'm on a team with Squad Commander Clement, along with a few others I don't know. Louis and Simas were in the right wing.

This was my first expedition, though,

I fear.

My heart is beating fast.

Suddenly a hand touched my shoulder. Louis smiled at me.

"Don't be afraid." he whispered. "You can do it!"

I just smiled and looked down, still feeling agitated and trying to convince myself.

We began to strategize the expedition using small, colorful beams.

"We will split up when we start entering the forest there" Commander Lucian said. "Your location will be detected in the GPS that you will use later."

"Commander Lucian," I asked. "Sorry I cut, why don't you use some kind of colorful powder shot?"

Everyone's eyes were on me.

"Don't, it could stimulate the enemy's hearing even further!" firmly answer. "It's better to use GPS to detect the location."

"Then from that, now you are rushing to make preparations to set out!" commander Lucian exclaimed, telling us to hurry to prepare ourselves. Eventually the meeting dissolved and we all left the meeting room.

I walk with a restless feeling. Not quiet. However, I must face.

I immediately rushed back to the dorm room and picked up an AK-47 assault rifle, a gift from Mama Mathilda. I always carry that rifle because it's in memory of her who's gone.

Then, I also took a pistol and some bullets that had been designed in such a way as to kill demons and other tools that were useful for this expedition.

I saw Alexa watching me. Suddenly he hugged me from behind.

"Don't leave me!" alexa exclaimed with her sad cute face. His tiny hand touched my stomach causing a tingling effect from his fingers.

I turned around and bowed towards him.

"I'll be back, Alexa!" my spoken. Trying to cheer him up. "Party part doang."

However, he just fell silent and watched me who was busy preparing myself.

"Bye!" I said as I stroked her cute hair and left it in the dorm room.

Just by myself in the middle of the hallway of the dormitory carrying an AK-47 assault rifle I put behind me and headed outside the alliance headquarters. While walking in the hallway, I saw Rin staring at the window.

I watched what he was watching. Only a group of humans ran there and there busy preparing for an expedition to Kimo Village.

"Rin?" my reproach. His facial expression was shocked as I rebuked him suddenly.

"Bull, huh?"

"M—sorry," That's all that came out of his mouth.

"Review kambet!" I said while patting her shoulder.

"Go first, yeah!" I said immediately leaving his form still silent in front of the window.

"Be careful, Nica!" he said, But I just waved my hand without looking at him.

Suddenly a strange feeling appeared in my heart lately.

Looks like there's something he's hiding ....

"Suudzon mulu!" I tried to think positively and not prejudiced against Rin who started acting strangely. He is, after all, his character like that. Mysteriously.

A gentle breeze blew slowly, welcoming myself who arrived outside the headquarters. The cloudy weather seemed to support my expedition for the first time. Lots of people who walked here and there while carrying important equipment to carry out this expedition.

I saw Louis with his horse.

"Dam!" I held him and approached him. He also looked at me. I saw her who was better prepared to go on an expedition than I was.

"Have you ready!" I said as I looked at Louis from top to bottom.

"Surely dong!" he clenched his right hand. "You too!"

I just laughed with a grimacing heart.

Suddenly Captain Jan approached the two of us.

"Ready!" captain Jan exclaimed cheering us both on with his smile that still looked creepy.

"Ready, Captain!" both of us salute in the presence of Captain Jan.

"This is your first expedition" he said, giving us a watch-like device that acts as a GPS to track the location of each team, as Commander Lucian explained at the meeting.

We took the watch and put it on our wrists. Instantly the tool immediately turns on and displays a collection of red dots that settle in one place.

"Whoaah!" I cried while staring at the GPS device that suddenly lit up.

Louis simply observed the device expressionlessly.

"It's to track where you are" explains Captain Jan.

"Okay, thank you, Captain!" I said while respecting in front of him.

"Thank you, Captain!" louis said he was respectful.

"Do your best!" Captain Jan patted both of us on the shoulder and left us both. The smell of chocolate still smelled to the bottom of my nose.

Suddenly Alexa ran up to me and Louis. Breath snuffling.

"Hey don't run away either" I said staring at her blushing face.

"A—aku only ...."

"I'M WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" alexa exclaimed with her cute voice half-screaming so that some of the other soldiers stared at us.

"I told you a few times, don't worry!" my spoken. "Believe dong."

"We will both try to be careful on this expedition" Louis said, giving a faint smile on his lips.

Alexa just kept silent.

Fast running time sec–demi–second. Therefore, we must immediately carry out the expedition before sunset.

Each member of the alliance chosen to conduct an expedition conquering the Kimo region from the demons directly mounted his own horse while bringing the greatest hope to mankind.

This is my first time riding a horse. White horses are like milk.

Expedition begins!

We continue to head west. Faces full of ambition and resignation are clearly visible from each of the facial expressions of those around me. There was no talk, there was only the sound of horse footsteps alternating.

The wind was blowing quite fiercely against the direction. I don't see any houses here. Just a vast expanse of grassland, a distant green hill, and a beautiful field of sunflowers were watching us carry out the expedition.

It turns out that outside the city of Amdis is also a beautiful sight ....

The Kimo Village.

There are no enemies here. Instantly my mind was filled with many questions about the state of this forest.

"Clement Squad Commander Clement!" exclaim one of the team members with me calling

"It's so quiet!" yells.

"There is no enemy movement at all!" sahut one.

"It seems like they are trying to play around with us" replied Squad Commander Clement.

Suddenly, a large, hairy demon appeared with fiery red eyes and horns as if challenging the eight of us. The creature was standing right in front of there staring at us.

"A—WHAT IS IT?!" I was surprised to see the presence of the ugly creature suddenly.

"Prepare to attack!" exclaim Commander Team Clement firmly while removing his flagship playing card.

I immediately took out an AK-47 assault rifle with a bullet that had been modified to kill demons. Ready-to-target. But something surprising happened.

The demon ... disappeared suddenly out of nowhere.

We were all surprised.

"Eh?"

DHUAARRR

Suddenly, a mysterious explosion toppled all eight of us. Our bodies were thrown away from each other and lay weakly on the damp ground. Our horses fell and some fled.

What explosion was that?

My vision suddenly became blurry and quite made my head dizzy. My head hit the ground pretty hard.

The fog from the mysterious explosion enveloped the eight of us. The scenery around the forest instantly becomes white–th. My eyes were watery and sore when forced to open both my eyes wider. I saw Squad Commander Clement and the other members being thrown away from me. They are completely unconscious.

I am the only one who is conscious.

I tried to get up from this position of my carelessness, but nil because my right leg was sprained. Mama Mathilda's AK-47 weapon was thrown quite far from my current position. I tried to reach it, but it failed and my legs got worse. All the movements felt heavy as if I was carrying stones all over my body.

"Oh yes, right," I said. Instantly I remembered that I was carrying a gun that was quite deadly as well. However, it felt heavy to take the object like it was held by 100 hands.

"Damn!" I began to despair about my current situation. I monitored the GPS, but suddenly it didn't work properly or error.

Suddenly a pitch-black figure appeared among the mysterious smog. Long-haired and horned figure. The horns resemble aries horns. Flying while carrying a human head. The longer I get closer.

"Clement Squad Commander Clement! Wake up to the cake on show on fainting again!" my grunts panicked half-deadly looking at the condition of my team that was unconscious all. I was just stunned to see the horrible sight right in front of my eyes.

Sitting and holding no weapons.

He's headed this way!

His pointed, long nails stuck the head of the person he had just pulled out and swung it back and forth. His gaze focused on me who was drooping weakly on the ground.

"I don't think a demon exterminator like you guys is so weak" he said in a large voice, belittling me. His hand focused on swinging the head of the person he had just decapitated.

I don't know that guy, probably one of the left wing lines.

The demonic woman crouched before me.

I'm speechless.

My mouth is mute.

However, I can't accept him saying that!

He touched my face using his long index finger and scratched my cheek. Blood started to flow out.

"That's so hot!" he said while laughing wickedly. The scent of the carcass clearly smelled from his body.

His eyes began to notice the number of unconscious left-wing troops. He got up from his squatting position and walked past me who was weak.

The demonic woman approached the Commander of the Clement Squad.

Squad Commander! Don't you die!

With my heart pounding, I tried to grab the gun that initially felt heavy because of the energy from the demonic woman. I directly aimed it at his heart from behind.

"Aha, you're after my heart, huh?" the demon exclaimed knowing my actions without even seeing me.

Damn, I was wrong!

The creature instantly squeezed my right hand that was pointing a gun at him with its unusual power.

He knows my purpose without seeing me.

"Aakhs!" My hand was broken forcibly by him like being crushed by a python so that the gun I had been holding, finally fell out of my grasp.

His sharp nails began to touch the face of the Commander of the Clement Squad.

"DON'T HURT HIM!"

Instantly he was silent behind me.

"GO ALL THE WAY LO!" I snapped at him to keep him away from Commander Squad Clement. Instantly the action stopped.

Bodo I really don't care, the important thing is Commander Squad Clement survived!

I tried to get up from the ground with all my might. Against the powerful energy of that demonic woman. In the end, I managed to stand up but with an imperfect position of having to endure the pain all over my body.

"BY ONE HERE!" my challenge.

His head turned 360 degrees and looked at me.

The demonic woman instantly pulled out her fangs along with her long tongue. The nails in each of his hands were getting elongated and pointed, ready to pounce on me. His eyes were red. His movements instantly quickly hit me.

Right-wing squads during the expedition.

Louis's PoV

They roamed a vast and quite dark forest. Humid Eve really feels. Puddles of water everywhere, because of the sunlight that can not reach the bottom of the forest.

Suddenly a red signal emanated from the GPS on Louis' wrist.

"The left wing is in danger!" simas exclaims while looking at the GPS device in his left hand.

"Dine?!" Instantly he crossed Louis's brain.

He is in danger, himself!

A feeling of panic as well as worry stuck in him now.

I have to get there!

"You must not be reckless! Be patient and stay together" Squad Commander Lewis told Louis, knowing the thoughts of his men.

Louis was forced to obey the orders of Squad Commander Lewis.

Nica hold!

Instantly his concentration on this mission was shattered.

"There's a swarm of enemies coming from one o'clock!" exclaim Squad Commander Lewis. "Prepare to attack!" emphatically.

Stella immediately issued a green shield and added mana so that the team can launch a good attack on the target.

Louis immediately pulled out the iron sword given by Mr. William. This is not an ordinary sword, but a sword that has been modified so that there is a deadly poison for the devil.

It looked as if a swarm of demons with a sizable body were running to attack the right-wing squads using their long fingernails. Their eyes glow red and their tongues stick out long accompanied by long fangs.

Suddenly there was a rumble coming from the West.

The sound was enough to make a bunch of birds fly into the sky. The rumbling sounds echoed in every corner of the forest.

Suddenly a swarm of demons attacked us, finally running towards the West. Towards the source of the rumble.

"What's that sound?" ask Louis. He had never heard that voice before.

Like a monster's voice. A big monster!

"Follow their tracks!" exclaimed Squad Commander Lewis told his team to follow in the footsteps of the demons running to the source of the rumble. They should stay careful.

"What the fuck?" louis said when he reached the source of the voice.

Eyes rounded. He stared at the pretty scary scene before him.

The swarm of demons that were running around initially instantly arrived at the source of the sound, they were all lying full of blood. Most of them have even been heart-wrecked. One of them was half cut off by his neck.

The right-wing squads who had just arrived at the source of the silent voice stared at this terrifying event.

"MISS!" louis saw Nica's blood-soaked body. There were many cuts on his stomach. The robe he was wearing had already been completely torn together with his red jacket full of bloodstains.

Louis hurried down from his horse and approached the unconscious form of Nica on the ground. He touched the woman's pulse.

Suddenly a green light emerged from Dimitri's hands as a secret spell was recited.

Just a few minutes later, the green light dimmed from Dimitri's hands.

"I've stopped the bleeding" Dimitri said as he opened his mask.

"Is he still alive?" asked the curious Louis half-dead.

"I'm not sure" he replied, "Because the wound is deep and serious enough, then he should be treated for a few days."

"His people are torn and must be restored by full rest."

Louis was silent at Dimitri's explanation.

Nica, what have you done?!

Unable to endure the pain in his chest,

Nica's body was carried by Dimitri and another volunteer using a stretcher and taken to a special cart that had been made by the expedition using tree wood to transport the injured expedition died.

"I'm sure he'll be fine!" he said full of confidence.

Louis only smiled mixed with sadness. "Thank you, Captain!"

He left Louis and continued to take care of the victims of this expedition and interact with other members of the army.

To become an alliance army, we must be willing to give up our lives to protect humanity.

Finally, Commander Lucian decided that all the expeditionary forces should be forced to return to the headquarters of the Amdis alliance because of the situation that did not allow it to continue. It has been stated that the first expedition to recapture the village of Kimo ....
