#7 Life (REVISION)

A bright morning. Sunlight began to enter the cracks of the window, but was blocked by curtains. Suddenly a kind of siren sound deafened both my ears.

It sounds so loud!

I couldn't sleep well last night, causing both my eyes to swell.

I slowly opened my eyes.

The first thing I saw was the ceiling. Suddenly a woman entered the room and immediately opened the curtains violently so exposed to the dazzling sunlight.

"WAKE UP WOI!!!" the woman looked very excited. He sounded a whistle several times hanging from his neck.

We all finally woke up. Alexa who slept next to me woke up with her hair falling apart. However, both of his eyes were still closed. Rin even directly covered her ears with a pillow and turned around.

I scratched my two swollen eyes.

After experiencing a bad sleep last night, only now begins to feel the drowsiness. "Emang kalong's descendants like this."

"YOU WANT TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING?!" she snatched the woman at the three of us.

"Ready, Mom. We'll be up soon!" answer us all in a limp voice because not yet fully our spirits are attached in each of our bodies.

Eventually, the woman left us.

"Very unsantuy" I said as I watched the woman disappear from the room.

"That's who, anyway?" rinn said, rising up from her bed. His face looks upset.

"I don't know, I'm going to sleep again!" answer Alexa who immediately put herself back on the bed.

"Wake up woi, scold again you on later!" I said by telling Rin and Alexa who were lazing.

I went straight to the bathroom to clean my body.

"Gini's first day is great." I grumbled.

Arriving in the dining room, there is a long table with white pedestals stretched out. Each seat is lined up with each other. The light of the morning sun enters through a large window and colors the ceiling of each corner of the room.

"Mica!" tell Louis to me who just arrived with Alexa. I spontaneously looked at his presence. He was sitting perfectly with Simas and Maxwell talking to each other beside him.

"Here!" saith. He told us both to sit next to him. I took his orders and immediately sat down beside him with Alexa.

You can see, there is a lot of food available on the table. I thought I wouldn't find good food when I was a soldier. Alexa's eyes glittered at each type of food on the table. Alexa is indeed every time you see food, the innards are hungry!

"Hold your wish!" I thrust his arm with my elbow at Alexa who was starting to get out of control.

It turned out that the seats in front of us were reserved for seniors. It started to look like some seniors were coming here and occupying every seat in front of us.

Their faces looked stiff.

Kinda creepy.

I don't know how their original character and also one of them has caught my attention. From his looks like he's the same age as me. However, the person has a fairly short height compared to the average height for men. Her ikal–blonde hair fell around her eyebrows.

"A kid's in here?" I whispered to Louis while pointing slowly at the man I meant.

"Friend you, tuh!" my taunts to Alexa who was sitting next to me while giving Alexa a code about the man. His round eyes immediately looked at the man directly.

"Don't play kayak like that, kocak!" I said while nudging his shoulders. "Known us later!"

Sure enough! Suddenly the man realized that we were talking about him. His green eyes stared intently at me.

So stabbing!

"He's looking for gaes!" I told Alexa and Louis.

"You're, uh, staring at him!" whispered Louis to me. "I don't want to get involved, yeah."

"I didn't see him, did he!" I said as I pointed at Alexa beside me. Alexa with her innocent face looked at me and Louis with a confused expression.

"Udah, disperse!" I said, trying to calm the atmosphere that began to feel bad. I can still feel the man's sight.

But I try not to look back.

A breakfast meal together begins led by Commander Lucian. We picked up various side dishes that were already available in front of us. In fact, the average of us had already started to get to know the seniors who were in front of us. However, I still do not know the name of the senior who has a face that babyface that I just saw.

After breakfast, we as the soldiers who have just entered the alliance will carry out some training for a week. It was to train ourselves to adapt to the environment here.

Here we are taught to be more independent, more courageous, and more disciplined. In fact, we are often given tasks such as cleaning the stables, bathing horses, feeding horses, cleaning toilets, and much more.

"Let's!" A sentence first came out of my mouth as I entered the stables while carrying a bucket of iron with a brush and cleaner inside. The smell of horses pierced the walls of my nose plus dust everywhere.

I tried to defeat the pessimism from within me and carry out the task with sincerity.

"It's still dirty!" commander Lucian said as he watched every corner of the stables I had cleaned.

Commander Lucian is the strictest man in cleanliness. Even he had to examine how much dust is still in a room. Both eyes are like dirty detection sensors.

"Well, Commander," said I, sad to hear that my efforts had not produced satisfactory results for him.

"I don't want to know, it just has to be clean!" snapped it.

"Okay, Commander do it!" I said as I saluted before him and turned around with a small bucket with a brush and cleaner inside.

Suddenly I saw one of the members of the same class as me, bathing a horse.

"Yes, Steven!" my broom to Steven. One of the members of my army who plays Odora. He looked to be bathing the horse with his hands full of soap foam. His face was filled with soap.

"Hey!" the answer. However, his concentration remained on his first object, which was to bathe horses. His hands were busy holding a shower and soap sponge.

The tail of the horse twitched so that a little splash of water hit my clothes.

"Very exhausting!" the answer. "What about you?"

"I was told to clean up the stables with Commander Lucian" I replied, breathing tired.

"What a pity, the spirit then!"

"Thank you, too!" I replied as I left him and immediately finished my task in the stable as soon as possible because I was already impatient to rest and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in the afternoon.

We were also assigned to prepare dinner together with some other seniors.

I'm tasked with cutting potatoes because this dinner's main menu is potatoes. Alexa was in charge of making French bread dough, and Louis was in charge of arranging the tableware at each table.

"Lisa Senior!" call me to one of our seniors who is the head of the department and is in charge of giving value and tasting taste in every cuisine.

"Oh you're done cutting it?" he said as he approached me who was holding a knife and potatoes that had been cut into dice.

"Is what I'm doing right?" ask me to make sure.

"Right," he replied with a friendly smile. "Next you boil the potatoes first, yes!"

"Oh well, thank you, Senior!" my answer. He left me and approached everyone who needed an opinion on their work.

I continued my activities with this potato. Eventually, we finished cooking dinner and began to serve it at each table. We hurried to clean up and went down to the dining room in perfect order. We stand idly by among the meals already available on the table pending the opinions of Commander Lucian and Captain Jan and Squad Commander Illyana who will be eating our cooking dinner.

My heart was racing awaiting the judgment of the three important people.

"So far, the food you've made ...." There was a pause between Captain Jan's comments on our cooking. "Don't kid!"

"The potatoes are still a bit hard" Squad Commander Illyana said. Instantly his statement made my heart feel torn by a sharp knife.

"But the rest is delicious!" he continued, devouring every bite of potatoes and vegetable decoration on it.

YES!!!

I feel like there are a lot of fireworks inside me.

"We made it!" alexa exclaimed while launching a high-five at me and a few others.

"Thank you for the teamwork!" exclaim Senior Lisa with a smile. Her face bright happy.

We also launched each other high-five to celebrate our success in making dinner tonight. It feels like a cooking competition.

"Feed!" exclaim Simas who participated helped Louis present and tidy up the tableware.

Louis only listened to our overly happy behavior while smiling. This is the first time I've seen him smile in public.

"Toss!" ask me to do high-five with him. At first he was silent. But in the end, he did it anyway.

Finally, this much work I can go through.

I finally found out the woman who woke me up, Rin, and Alexa at that time.

"You know who wakes you up every time during training?" captain Jan suddenly asked me who was resting on the steps of the alliance headquarters courtyard while enjoying the cool air that was blowing slowly.

I shook my head.

"She is Marielle Schoiger" she said. "You should be careful when you're near him!"

"Be careful what, Captain?" I wonder and wonder at the same time.

"So be careful" he said. "Because he was disciplined once and most passionate among our generation!"

"Oh that," That's all that came out of my mouth.

"But that's Captain, a few days ago I saw one of the seniors and his face babyface—" Not yet have I finished my sentence. Captain Jan immediately cut my sentence.

"So he's called Clement?" ask me to make sure. My curiosity finally paid off.

My eyes twitched and I looked up at Captain Jan.

"He was the best graduate of the Alvist Magic Academy a few years ago and only studied for a year thanks to his magic that was too good!" obviously at length. "The boy was also raised to status by Lucian as squad commander."

I nodded as well, looking at his explanation.

Finally I was able to find out some information regarding some of the senior characters and commanders of the diverse squads of the Amdis Alliance. It's all thanks to Captain Jan that I don't have to hesitate anymore when it comes to interacting with them.

And everything Captain Jan said has a point!

We cannot judge a person by his appearance. Not necessarily what it looks like. There have been so many valuable lessons learned since I was in this alliance.
