#32 Determination of Human Fate

february 9, 3030 - The red full moon night.

Arriving on the day of the determination of human life.

The entire Orion Joint Alliance members arrived at the demon world right on the night of the red full moon as they had mutually agreed.

The red full moon is clearly visible in the clear night sky.

We made it to the demon world thanks to a piece of paper from Oliver.

The atmosphere of the demon world is more sinister than I thought. The buildings here do not give rise to a peaceful aura, but rather an aura of death accompanied by at least ambient lighting. The cold air pierced my skin. However, fortunately, I wear a robe equipped with lamb fur so that it warms the body temperature.

Shortly after a long journey, we arrived in front of Astaroth Castle. The castle is located far from the residential area and the building is located on a hill.

Arriving right into the castle gate, we descended from each of our horses. All the demon soldiers immediately performed a welcoming ceremony to us.

"Welcome, Rosabelle!" greet King Loritz XI who welcomes me to his castle.

"Thank you, King Loritz XI! It's great to be dealing with you here," I replied with much ado.

"It is unexpected that you will come here" said King Loritz XI as he looked at the other members behind me.

"Let's come with me!" bring him.

We followed him from behind.

King Loritz XI headed into a spacious room and had already present some other demons. They looked at us with a very scary look.

It's so scary woi!

My hair immediately stood up. But I have to fight this fear.

Squad Commander Clement who was beside me while wearing a deep purple robe, touched my shoulder.

"Control," he said. He knows how I feel now.

"good. Thank you, Clement!" answer me in a soft voice.

We all sat face to face with demons that seemed to be the trust of the king. They looked at us with sharp eyes and disliked our presence here.

Suddenly my eyes were on a glass with a red drink in it, right in front of me. I immediately nudged the elbow of Commander Squad Clement. Cue not to drink a strange drink on each side of the meeting table. Squad Commander Clement understood my sign language and told the others to do the same.

The clink of the clock instantly rang loudly along with the opening of this conference.

"It is permissible to His Majesty, King Loritz XI to speak first."

"Okay, thank you!" king Loritz XI. His gaze while glancing at me sharply.

"First of all, I want to thank you and I really appreciate your coming all the way here!" he said while commenting on the creepy smile on his shattered face.

"Today we will come together to solve all the problems that have happened over the centuries" King Louis XI continued, clearing his dry throat.

"I, as a representative of the devil, plead guilty to what we have done to humans for centuries" he explained. His glances kept watching one by one of us.

"This is all because of the misunderstanding factor that occurred since the reign of Loritz VI which led to catastrophe until now."

"As a result, our lives are also threatened and do not escape the name of conflict" he explained. "Many of our people died because of the incident."

"The wars between these two worlds also brought death to our armies."

"Therefore, on this day, I would like to clarify this matter. I want life between demons and humans to be intertwined again as it was in the days of our ancestors."

"Nobody refuses, does a life like that?" King Loritz XI while commenting on the slanted smile on his face.

"Honestly, I'm very tired of this unfortunate relationship" he said.

"I kept thinking how to get the demon and human relationship back together."

"Sorry, sister Nica. King Loritz XI has yet to finish his sentence!" said the devil who served as a party of peace.

I took a long breath.

"Don't be too hasty, Rosabelle!" king Loritz XI said with a small laugh. "I know you want to accuse everything I say of lying, right?"

Patience, Rika! Be patient!

My blood started to soar. However, I must endure this soul emotion. The sight of Squad Commander Clement was staring at me, telling me to remain patient. I returned the gaze of both her green eyes, then smiled faintly.

"Maybe my words seem to exaggerate. But what I'm saying is fact!" emphatically.

"I decided to stop our actions in conquering your territory, because we realized that what we did was wrong!"

"I hope you understand my words and can forgive our mistakes. Thank you!" king Loritz XI. Closing his public speaking session.

"Well, thank you Your Majesty, King Loritz XI!" said the demon who mediated in this conference.

"Please the representative of the human race, Nica Rosabelle to speak!"

"Well, thank you in advance," I said while commenting on the forced smile.

"Sorry before, I feel your sentence stating that, You feel tired of the unfortunate relationship between the devil and man. I don't think your words fit the reality!" I clearly returned King Loritz XI's gaze with an annoyed look.

"You say so, but you still oppress the people!"

Instantly the atmosphere turned gripping.

"We as a human race feel very oppressed by your arbitrary actions" I explained. "You have regarded us as food, but the flesh of other animals is better than that of man!"

"You are the one who broke the brotherly relationship between demons and humans!" my snapping. "Those who make things worse and invite doom!"

"Please calm down, sister Nica Rosabelle!" exclaim the figure of the devil who became the mediator. He was trying to calm my anger.

"Why are you suddenly scolding me?" King Loritz XI put on a face as if confused towards me, very opposite from the bottom of his heart.

"Isn't our goal to make peace?"

"Please keep both sides calm!" exclaim that demon figure. Trying to stop the discussion between the two of us.

"I am simply addressing the grievances of humanity to all of you present today."

"If you do not make a problem worse, maybe the life between the two can be solved deliberation until now."

"We as humans really want to achieve a just and prosperous life" I explained. "We just want to live happily without oppression."

A moment of tears from my eyelids came out soaking my face. The various faces of people who died in the battle against the demons instantly flashed in my brain. Memories of happiness before they did not immediately come to pass. It was increasingly inviting my tears to fall soaking my cheeks in large quantities.

However, when her handkerchief touched my face, tears immediately flowed back and wet her handkerchief.

Reminds me of the scent of Captain Jan and Louis that once suffocated my sense of smell. My heart really hurts to remember them. However, I have to endure this cry in the current gripping situation.

I immediately signed the agreement in the column that has been provided using a quill pen located on each side of the table. Then I directly gave the paper to the Commander of the Clement Squad.

"My feeling is not good" whispered Squad Commander Clement.

"I dare not look at him" I replied slowly. "I feel him keep staring at me."

After it was our turn to sign a peace treaty, the paper was directly given to the devil's side. However, it seemed that King Loritz XI was whispering something to the fellow beside him that was accompanied by a sly smile implied on their faces.

King Loritz XI did not take his quill pen at all.

Before King Loritz XI ambushed us in this room, the other half of the Orion Joint Alliance members who were assigned to oversee this conference event from outside, were in charge, directly launched an attack to weaken the defense outside the castle based on my cue.

"King Loritz XI where are you?!!" grumbling. I went straight down the stairs in a castle hallway that was quite high. Looking for the form of King Loritz XI.

Instantly my eyes were on him who was being escorted by some of his soldiers in a room. However, there was a gap that allowed me to directly stab him.

With a lightning-fast attack, I instantly pulled out a pair of long nails from my fingers and stabbed King Loritz XI.

However, my actions were thwarted by the soldier.

"Strike him!" exclaim King Loritz XI told his men to kill me.

However, as smart as they avoided my attack, they eventually died with stab wounds in their chests. Because their speed was slower than I thought, making myself easily break their heart.

Now I and King Loritz XI are facing each other.

The light of the red full moon entered every window slit in this creepy castle, coloring the gripping atmosphere enveloping the two of us in a place lacking lighting.

"This is the half-demon figure I've been waiting for the most!" king Loritz XI said with a small laugh.

"I'm so sick of you!" my snapping.

"Oh, huh?"

Without a pause, I immediately launched an attack towards King Loritz XI right at his heart. However, my action missed and as a result a pair of long nails of mine stabbed into his stomach.

He fell down and shed a lot of blood through his mouth and stomach.

"The average demon has regeneration power in its body is slow or even non-generating at all,"

The words from Mama Mathilda that my brain has always recorded.

I saw it with my own eyes directly.

There was silence between the two of us. Only the sound of his cough was heard while spitting out blood spots.

"Rosabelle," he called out suddenly. His head lowered without looking at me who was standing in front of him. Both knees as a weak body support.

After Louis, Simas, then Oliver ….

Suddenly unbeknownst to me, King Loritz XI used this situation to kill me. He immediately got up and stabbed right in my heart using a pointed sword.

The look of a satisfied face was clearly implied while looking at me.

King Loritz XI laughed contentedly in front of me who was dying.

"HALF A VERY STUPID DEMON!" he shouted in the middle of the quiet and dim room followed by his laughter echoing in every corner of this vast room.

I can't say anything.

I kept holding back the bleeding that kept coming out of my chest. King Loritz XI continued to fumble incoherently as he walked around myself lying on the cold floor.

"It's been a long time since I've wanted to see you!" he said with a mocking tone.

"But after I met you, I thought you were smart in attacking. It looks so stupid!"

My patience has really run out of her insults.

Fuck you!

"If you're smart, why can't you kill me?" taunted. He challenged me to kill him.

Ok if you say so!

At full speed and withstanding all my suffering, I immediately stabbed his heart in the back. King Loritz XI immediately did not continue with his rag and fell silent. Red blood came out from his mouth and chest.

I'm tearing his heart out. Wreak all the suffering of my life on him so that he can understand the suffering of mankind that occurred for centuries.

He immediately fell full of blood. Both of his eyes that were bright red glared.

Now no one lives in this room.

I fell down instantly beside him who was already lifeless.

I smiled at her with tears streaming down my face.

Clement's POV

Damnit damnit! They have no end!

Clement continued to fight some of the demons that confronted him. A number of the Orion Joint Alliance members in charge of watching the movements of the demons outside, instantly they began to enter the conference room.

"Alexa, give me mana!"

The dwarf woman immediately added Mana Clement as well as increased the shield layer to him.

Some of the demons that surrounded them were increasingly intensively making new clones so that they managed to make Clement and some others feel exhausted.

Clement's strength is weakening.

"CAPTAIN JAN!!!" alexa exclaimed excited to see Jan present in the middle of a precarious situation like this. Jan just smiled at Alexa who resembles a chick who is happy to get food from her mother.

"K—kau …." Clement seemed to have trouble finishing his sentence so distrustful of the figure before him.

"I'm sorry for ...."

"I'm so happy for your presence here, Jan!" sela Clement with a smile. A happy smile appeared on his face while looking into Jan's eyes.

"Let's get together to wipe out all the demons that are disturbing it!"
