#21 Meeting Night (REVISION)

It was a cloudy night in the city of Amdis,
After the dinner.
After dinner, we were all given free time. You can do anything but stay in the base area only.
However, this did not apply to Louis and I as we were both ordered by Commander Lucian to arrive at the meeting room right after dinner. The two of us rushed straight to the meeting room before the meeting was about to start in a few minutes.
At first, I wanted to see Simas about his dinner, but time was not possible and told me to focus on the original goal.
"This is a very important person!" my grunts as I walked down the hallway of the headquarters to the meeting room with Louis.
Quite a lot of people are heading to the meeting room. However, most are squad commanders because they will lead each team in an expedition if it will be held expedition activities again.

I don't know why every time I attend a meeting, my heart beats. Maybe it's because of fear.

"I hate you 99%!!" I said while hitting his shoulder slowly.
"1% is dear."
His words made my cheeks instantly blush. I couldn't help it if he started acting like this again.

Louis just laughed at my behavior. He treats me like a child.
"I'm worried that if your hand has to be amputated, how will you fight the devil if it gets amputated?!"

I immediately pinched both of her cheeks until she grimaced in pain. However, I ignored him and added to the power of my pinch.
The cloudy night was shrouded with meaningful excitement. Just looking at the sky and the surrounding buildings has made me understand the meaning of life. I was finally able to breathe life back after a month in the cell that tortured me for activities. Now I feel freedom again,
The life I want to feel all the time and not want moments like this to end.
