"His biological mother?!" Aditya looks very surprised.
"Yes Pa, he was the waitress who served us earlier" replied Dinda.
Mr. Aditya's mouth opened wide immediately. Slowly he turned to the waitress who was on the floor, but the woman was no longer there.
"What's the matter Pa?" madam Aditya asked with a surprised face to see her surprised husband.
Aditya hung up the phone.
"Dinda said, it turns out that the waitress was Vino's real mother."
"What??" madam Aditya asked so surprised.
He immediately turned to the waitress who was crying, but the woman was no longer there.
"Yes, we better go home now to see how Vino is doing" Mrs Aditya said.
"Okay, let's go home" Aditya replied as he got into his car.
While Dinda held her husband tightly, she grabbed Vino's hand and grabbed him.
"It's okay Vin, it's all over. Now no one will ever hurt you again" said Dinda, calming her husband.
While Vino was still pecking with a pale face.
"Vin, you don't just shut up, you can't feel tightness in your chest alone, you can share it with me" said Dinda.
"Can I cry?" vino asked in a weak voice barely even audible.
"Why can't you?" ask Dinda.
"Because I'm a man" Vino replied.
"God created tears not only for women, men also have feelings. And God created me for your friend to share his taste. So, I'm here to hear you"
A moment later, Dinda heard a sobbing sound in her arms and the burly body seemed to shake.
Dinda tightened her embrace even more, and she could not hold back her tears from flowing.
His heart was so sick to see the suffering harbored by the man he loved. How not? A mother who was supposed to hold him in affection but he was instead banished.
A mother will always hold her frightened child, but she leaves him in the dark alone in fear.
A moment later the sobbing sound slowly subsided, then he heard Vino's hoarse voice.
"I didn't expect to see her again, she looked old, but she still looked scary to me."
Vino's hoarse voice sounded so soft.
Dinda wiped her tears, then patted Vino's arm softly.
"That happened a long time ago Vin, leave that painful memory behind. Now you can live alone with tough and brave. You even became a protector for me and Arka. It's just the past, you've been fighting for a bright future. Don't let that bad memory destroy your soul now. You have to be happy Vin, you can't suffer because of other people's mistakes" Dinda said slowly.
A moment later, Vino's suction stopped, his body felt very weak, and he fell asleep in Dinda's arms.
After they reach the Aditya family home, Dinda wakes up Vino slowly.
"Wake Vin up, we're home" said Dinda, shaking Vino's arm slowly.
Vino opened his eyes slightly and raised his head that was leaning on Dinda's shoulder.
Dinda just stared at the astonished attitude of Vino who was once limp but now moves quickly. After that Vino got out of the taxi and walked to the side of Dinda's seat, then opened the door for his wife.
Dinda came down in surprise while looking at Vino, but was stared at as if she wanted to throw her face in the other direction.
As soon as the taxi left, Vino walked in without taking Dinda in at all. Dinda can only follow Vino's steps from behind.
Is he angry with me? Did I accidentally offend her earlier? Her thought.
After arriving inside, without saying anything Vino immediately went upstairs and entered his room. But Dinda did not follow Vino anymore, she chose to sit and wait in the living room.
Maybe Vino needs time to be alone right now, Dinda's inner self.
He now only understands the ferocity of trauma, which can even make a person drown in it for a very long time. Like suction mud, he would not let the person who had sunk inside his exit easily.
Soon her father-in-law came home with Arka.
"What exactly is Din? Was the waitress really Vino's birth mother?" madam Aditya asked impatiently as soon as she saw Dinda.
"Yes Ma, Vino was in shock and now he is resting in his room" replied Dinda.
Madam Aditya sighed. He recalled Vino's story about his mother when they first adopted him. He was very afraid of his mother. So that he always dreamed of the times he was dumped by his mother.
"Let's see Vino for a second, Din?!" mrs Aditya said.
Dinda nodded her head and took Arka from her sling.
When she got to her room Vino, Madame Aditya opened the door slowly.
"May I come in Vin?"
"May Ma," Vino replied in an almost inaudible voice, he was sleeping on his bedroom sofa while covering his face with a pillow.
Slowly he woke up, when his mother came in. Madam Aditya sat beside her. He reached out and rubbed Vino's back.
"You sad, son? Is your fear coming back?" ask Madam Aditya gently.
Vino nodded.
"Yes Ma, it felt tight and difficult to breathe, as Vino felt that night. Losing hope in the dark, yelling as if someone was listening and taking Vino to a bright place. Even Vino wished the wicked Mother back, even if she came back to hit Vino was fine, as long as she returned, and Vino was not alone in the darkness. But he's not coming back"
Madam Aditya could no longer hold back her tears, she grabbed her child into her arms.
"Have a son, don't drown again in your bad memories. You are not alone anymore, there are many people who love you, and will never leave you alone" Aditya said as he patted her on the back of his son gently.
While in a rented house located in a slum, a woman was pouring her cooking into a plate, then she put it on the dining table.
There were only two chairs at the table, and he was sitting on an empty chair. While in the other seat is located a doll, and in the middle of the table there is a picture frame.
The woman thrust a plate in front of the doll. Then he smiled softly.
"Vin, you've finally seen Mom come back. But you're scared of Mom, son," she said slowly as she stared at the doll in front of her. Tears started to flow down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry Mom Son, I've left you in that darkness alone. But Mom wanted to come back, son, if only it hadn't happened" she said in tears. Now he stared at the picture frame in the middle of the table. A picture of a little boy holding a ball framed there, the little boy in yellow clothes and brown pants. Just like the clothes put on the doll.
"If you believe my son, I'm back then" he exclaimed.
Seriate....
