Unexpected Meetings Part 2

He tried to remember while looking at the woman.

And like being electrocuted, Dinda flinched as her memory returned to the photo shown by her sister Yanti when she was seven years old.

The woman's face is in the photo with her father.

Which means the woman is Vino's real mother.

What if Vino sees it? What if Vino's trauma comes back? Her thought.

Dinda glanced at Vino and she saw her husband was engrossed in his cell phone to check the files that had just been sent by his secretary.

Cold sweat splashed across Dinda's forehead.

"What do you want to eat, honey?" ask Madam Aditya.

"Arka wants some spaghetti, Grandma" replied.

"Well, you like spaghetti?"

"Yes Nek, every meal here, Arka always order spaghetti," he replied again.

"If you want to eat what, Dinda?"

Dinda gasped at Madam Aditya's question, her eyes from earlier kept watching Vino turning towards her mother-in-law.

"Dinda wants Betawi soto aja Ma," replied Dinda gelagapan.

While the woman continued to stare at Vino with a sad look on her face.

Does this woman know Vino? Does he want Vino to see her? Inner Dinda.

"If you want to eat what, Vino?" ask Madame Aditya while looking

towards his son.

"Vino wants Betawi soto as well as Ma," interrupted Dinda quickly so that Vino does not take his eyes off the phone and look at the woman.

And Dinda's efforts were successful, Vino immediately nodded without looking at them.

"Yes Ma, Vino soto Betawi too. Sorry yes, Vino should check this email for a moment" replied Vino.

Dinda breathed a sigh of relief, she was just the origin of answering earlier. But lucky Vino ordered the same menu.

Madam Aditya told her of their order menu, and the woman took note of it, she looked unfocused on the note as she kept glancing towards Vino. After taking down the order, he turned around slowly leaving their table.

Dinda continued to watch the woman, until she disappeared behind the wall and headed to the restaurant kitchen.

Dinda's face looked tense, thus attracting Madam Aditya's attention.

"You why Dinda? Are you not feeling well?"

Vino, who had been very focused on his phone, immediately raised his head and looked at his wife worriedly.

"You sick, Din?" ask Vino.

This is my chance to take me home, Dinda thought.

"I feel a little nauseous," Dinda replied giving an excuse.

Vino stood up.

"Let me have some warm ginger water in the kitchen, maybe you catch a cold" Vino said.

Dinda immediately wavered, she was afraid that Vino would meet the woman in the kitchen.

"Do not take Vin yourself, you ask the same employee," said Dinda trying to prevent.

"No way, later if they take, very long in the carry. Let me take it myself directly to the kitchen" argued Vino.

"No need Vin, besides I also do not like to drink ginger water. It's just a little nausea, probably because of the smell of perfume people pass by," said Dinda trying to prevent Vino from going to the kitchen.

"You use eucalyptus oil only Din, if Mama exists," said Mrs Aditya while reaching into her bag, then handed a small bottle of eucalyptus oil to Dinda.

Dinda could only accept it with a haggard face, as her plan to take her home was unsuccessful.

Now Dinda can only hope that it is not the woman who will bring her food.

"Well then, if the nausea is getting worse, you tell me yes. I checked this file a little bit more" said Vino.

Dinda nodded and Vino refocused on her phone.

Shortly after, the woman came out of the kitchen carrying a plastic bag containing a package. Then he seemed to walk out. Dinda kept following with her gaze.

The front wall of the restaurant was made of glass, so that Dinda could see the woman approaching two shabby-looking little boys standing on the sidewalk, and giving the package to them.

Suddenly, Vino's phone rang.

"It's a call from my secretary, I'll take it outside for a while huh, it's too noisy here" Vino said as he stood up.

Dinda immediately panicked, seeing Vino move out.

What if Vino meets her outside? What should I do to prevent Vino?

But Dinda no longer had time to prevent Vino who had rushed out to pick up his phone.

"Here is always crowded like this, Pa?" ask Madam Aditya.

"Yes, the food is good. Only Papa never invited Mama here, because usually Mama does not like noisy places," said Mr. Aditya.

Dinda could no longer focus on hearing her in-laws talk. His eyes kept staring out.

He saw the woman turning to go inside. While Vino was heading for the exit.

Dinda could no longer see him, she could only close her eyes and pray that Vino and her mother would not meet if it would traumatize her.

Slowly Dinda opened her eyes, and instantly her eyes bulged.

The mother and son were standing face to face, Vino on the inside of the restaurant, and his mother on the outside of the restaurant.

They met in the middle of that door.

Vino seemed to be standing stiff, as well as his mother. And slowly the phone from Vino's grasp fell to the floor.

Dinda immediately stood up straight, her face looking so tense.

What's gonna happen? His inner.

And a moment later Vino ran out past his petrified mother.

Dinda rushed after Vino. And he saw the woman suddenly fall to the floor with tears slowly coming down her cheeks.

But Dinda did not care, she kept running out to chase after Vino.

While Madame Aditya and her husband looked at the astonished Dinda who ran out. Especially when they saw the waitress was gathered in front of the restaurant door.

As soon as she got outside, Dinda saw Vino walking down the sidewalk like a drunk. Dinda ran after him.

"The casino!" his yell.

But Vino did not answer him, he continued to stagger.

"Vino, stop!" exclaim Dinda while blocking Vino.

He was so surprised to see that his handsome face was as pale as an undead.

Dinda immediately grabbed Vino's lunglai body into his arms. He hugged the body tightly, so that he could feel Vino's body tremble.

Dinda saw a taxi driving far in front of her, he immediately waved his hand towards the street to call the taxi. As soon as the taxi stopped, Dinda swept Vino's body into it.

Vino sat in Dinda's arms and rested his head on his wife's shoulder.

While Madame Aditya and her husband followed out while carrying Arka. When they came out, the waiter was still there. Mr. Aditya saw Vino's phone lying on the floor, he immediately picked it up and rushed out. But Mrs Aditya felt sorry to see the crying waitress and she approached him.

Other customers also appeared to be approaching.

"Mother why? Is anyone sick?" ask Madam Aditya.

But the woman did not answer. He stared at the tears that continued to flow. Not getting an answer, Madam Aditya decided to follow her husband who had come out.

Madame Aditya saw her husband standing next to her car while calling. He also approached her.

"Where did they go Pa?"

"Papa doesn't know, this is Papa calling Dinda again" he replied.

"Halo Pa," Dinda replied.

"Where are you guys? What's the matter, actually?"

"We've come home in a taxi. Vino was in shock, having just met his real mother" Dinda replied.

"His biological mother?!" Aditya looks very surprised.

"Yes Pa, he was the waitress who served us earlier" replied Dinda.

Mr. Aditya's mouth opened wide immediately. Slowly he turned to the waitress who was on the floor, but the woman was no longer there.

Seriate...
