Ardi read the contents of the paper in his hand with wide eyes. He did not expect to receive a call from the police.

"Pak Ardi, we from the police want to take you to the office for an investigation related to the case of forgery of debt bills and fraud against the inheritance of Dinda Kirana" said Mr. Police.

Shakily Ardi clasped the call paper in his hand.

He quickly closed the door and locked it from the inside.

Ardi tried to fight back, but one of his men had covered his face with a handkerchief containing drugs, and before long Ardi fainted.

The two men lifted Ardi's body out of his house, and stepped over the body of the Police that they had been paralyzed and lying in front of the door, as well as the Police guarding the back door.

A few hours later Ardi opened his eyes and found himself in a slightly dark room.

He also felt his hands tied behind the chair he was sitting on.

Where am I now? Who has taken me? Her thought.

Suddenly, the light that was directly above his head lit up.

Ardi squinted his eyes that felt glare.

He saw someone standing at the door and walking towards him.

That person was a young man with a tall body.

The handsome man smiled cynically at him.

"So this is a rotten man who wasted such a good woman?" said the man with a terrible grin.

He huddled withstanding the pain.

Then Rio pushed down Ardi's bowed head with the tip of the baseball bat until Ardi's face lifted and looked at him.

"You look carefully at who is in front of you. I am Rio Bramasta Aditya. The owner of the company where you work," Rio said in an arrogant tone.

Ardi seemed surprised to find out who kidnapped him.

How can Dinda know the owner of the company I work for? thought.

Ardi swallowed his saliva and said slowly with a hoarse voice

"So what do you want to kidnap me for? Are you going to kill me?"

"For now I won't kill you, but if you try to escape, I won't spare you" Rio threatened.

Then he threw a baseball bat on the floor and straight out of the stuffy room.

While Ardi is still thinking about the reason why he was held captive.

*Didn't he want to kill me, why would he bother kidnapping me, wouldn't he let me go to jail, so he wouldn't have to dirty his hands with a crime for keeping me? He had another reason, he thought.

While Rio has driven by his car towards his house. He will meet Dinda and carry out the next plan that he has carefully designed.

Dinda instantly got up from her bed as soon as she saw Rio enter her room. He will ask Rio to drive him back to his residence as Rio promised yesterday.

However he delayed his intention when he saw Rio's face that looked panicked.

"Yes Din, Ardi ran away when the Police made an arrest," Rio replied lying while making his face look panicked.

"Thank you, and sorry for bothering you," said Dinda as she returned Rio's smile.

"But to get out of this house I don't think so, because it looks like Ardi is a reckless person. She'll definitely keep looking for you to tell you to drop her charges, if she has a rich boyfriend backing her".
