Engagement Date

The short, dark blue jumpsuit with a long-sleeved white balloon dress interior was successful in making Sean gawk.

Sean who was in the car came out and looked at Yelena from top to bottom, and behind her. Then he looked at the clothes he himself was wearing. Jeans with white shirt.

"So this is a couple?" ask Sean.

Yelena smiled faintly.

Then Sean held onto both of Yelena's shoulders and twisted his body slowly. Simple-looking white sling bag and sneakers of the same color. Those foreign-looking things made Sean frown.

"What's wrong?" ask Yelena.

"I've never given you clothes and accessories like this." Sean said.

"I just bought it yesterday" Yelena said.

"Did you specifically buy that shirt?" asked Sean while glancing at Yelena's shirt for a moment.

"Yes. All of my clothes were too fancy to be worn playing in the amusement park, so I bought one that looked simple" replied Yelena.

Sean recalled, all the clothes and accessories given to Yelena were Allesa's taste. Glamour and luxury.

She held Yelena's hair in a braid.

'His appearance is like a little girl, very cute.' inwardly.

"But I'd prefer if your hair is broken." said Sean while taking off Yelena's braid.

Yelena was only silently obedient as the braid of hair she had been working on for half an hour was crushed.

The deg!

Sean widened his eyes. That wavy hair. Very, very similar, more similar than when her hair was straight. Yeah, because Allesa's hair is wavy.

"You're better suited to wavy hair." Sean said.

Sean nodded with satisfaction. He kissed Yelena on the forehead, then led her into the car.

The car drove too. Along the way Sean clasped Yelena's hand and occasionally looked at her with a smile on his face. A smile that he rarely and almost never showed.

Yelena breathed a sigh of relief. Grateful for Sean's increasingly tender treatment of him.

"Sean?" exclaims Yelena.

"Hm?" saith.

"Sean, it's been over a year since I lost my memory. I don't know when our engagement date is, and how many years it's been since we officially became a couple.."

Yelena tried to ask the thing that always stuck in her heart and head. As long as Sean can be spoken to, he has to ask.

Sean turned his head for a moment, then refocused on his steering wheel. He didn't answer. Yelena looked at him with demands to answer.

Sean sighed.

"5 October." he replied.

Not wrong. October 5 was the date of his engagement to Allesa. The engagement that was canceled was done 4 years ago.

"5 October? it means it's past." said Yelena disappointedly.

Yelena stared at the screen of her flaming phone. October 25th, the date listed there. Means it's been 20 days, her mind.

Sean looked at Yelena's disappointed face. Then smile wryly. Maybe he almost felt the same way as Sean. Disappointment.

A day he doesn't want to remember. The date he always hated. But the wait will never stop. Until Allesa came back with an explanation for everything that had happened.

"It was just an engagement date. Don't think about it too much. There are other dates you should remember later. Our wedding date." Sean said, caressing Yelena's hair.

A wedding? It's bullshit!
