Orphanage

The sun has come out of its hiding place, spreading its rays all over the earth.

What do people do in the morning? Some are still asleep, some are sports, shopping to the market, going to work. There are also those who are still on their way to where they should be headed. Like the current Yohan.

Yohan waved her hand while displaying her best smile. All the children were hysterical about him.

"Sister Yohan?" said a girl who had just come out from inside the parlor.

"Hey..Lilia, how are you?" Yohan immediately approached the 16-year-old girl and hugged her.

"Well, you're this big.." Yohan ruffled Lilia's hair.

Lilia started to pout because she did not like her head in the least. And since childhood Yohan likes to bother him by ruffling his hair. Lilia has almost the same fate as Yohan, the difference is that Lilia entered the orphanage when she was 4 years old.

"Sister's bad habits haven't changed!"

"Sister Yelena's not coming?" ask Lilia.

"That's why I came here. Is Asih's mom home?" ask Yohan.

Yohan waved her hand and directly ran into the parlour. He's headed to the kitchen to look for Asih's mother.

There, the figure he missed so much. His back was not as firm as it used to be, but his hands were still that strong to pump water.

"Mother." call Yohan.

Asih's mother took off her water pump and turned her head. He looked at the person standing in front of him.

"My son Yohan.."

Asih's mother approached Yohan and touched both of her cheeks. Scroll of tears began down Mother Asih's cheeks.

"Is this real? my son Yohan has grown this big and is very handsome." he said.

"Yes, this is Yohan. Yohan's not as reckless as she used to be, ma'am.." Yohan hugged Mother Asih, her tears also started to come out.

Asih's mother took off her embrace.

"Do you want to eat with your sisters?" ask Mother later.

"Yes. Yohan had already met with Lilia in front. She has grown into a beautiful teenage girl." said Yohan.

"Of all the children who grew up since childhood here with you, only Lilia is left. She doesn't want to be adopted, she wants to stay here with Mom and help keep her new sisters in the house.."

"Since childhood she was a good girl." - Yohan.

Yohan and Asih's mother were sitting in the back garden of the orphanage. The place where she wanted to end her life first, had now turned into a very beautiful flower garden.

"If Yelena were here." murmured Mother Asih.

"That's also one of Yohan's goals to come here, ma'am..Yohan wanted to meet Yelena," Yohan said, pretending she didn't know anything.

"Since the moment she left this parlor, Mom couldn't contact her. Even on the first day of leaving," complained Asih Mother.

"Yelena hasn't told you where Yohan wants to work.."

"He works in the capital. He said he got a job at what company, Mom forgot. DC what is it.." said Asih Mother.

"Will you spend the night here?" ask Mother later.

Yohan thought long. It's already his second day of leave. Two days are still left. If he stays, there's only one day left. One day was not enough to solve the mystery behind Yelena's problem.

But if he doesn't stay..

He looked at Mother Asih's eyes filled with hope. Seeing that how could he just leave.
