The night changed by morning. The rest of the rainwater last night is still dripping from the leaves of trees that are out there. Birds - birds put each other down.
Sunlight peeked into the dark room through the gap of the curtains.
Srak~
Just like the person who opened the curtain, perhaps the sunlight also felt relieved for having successfully done its job. Expel darkness.
The dark room was now filled with sunlight. The sleeping girl slowly began to wrinkle her forehead.
His hand connected to a hose containing clear liquid was trying to block the sunlight so as not to hit his face.
"Sorry, did I wake you up ? "
"You.who are you ? " ask Yelena with a typical hoarse voice of waking up.
"I'm Aiden,"
He answered while offering a glass of water that he had just poured.
"No need, thank you," Yelena refused, turning her face away.
Aiden looked at Yelena for a moment, then turned around. He threw his body on the front sofa there. He let out a long sigh while opening his laptop screen.
His eyes began to focus on the screen in front of him. Like a professional, his agile fingers pressed down on the keyboard quickly.
"Pfftt~" Aiden held back his laughter when he found out Yelena was staring at him earlier.
Yelena was irritated and embarrassed by that.
He turned around, facing the window. But the sunlight was too glare for his eyes. His anger is increasing. He kicked the blanket he was wearing until he almost fell.
"Ck!" its decan.
"Why? are you uncomfortable with my presence?" ask Aiden.
There was no response.
Aiden smiled obliquely, then closed his laptop and moved from his seat. He walked on Yelena's bed, re-raised the nearly-falling blanket.
While enveloping Yelena, Aiden took the opportunity to examine her face.
"Ck ck, really similar," he murmured.
"What's similar?" ask Yelena .
"Man-like?" Aiden tilted his head and smiled.
"Crazy ground," grumbled Yelena.
"Where's my fiance?" continued.
Aiden widened his eyes in shock. But she covered her expression by turning her body.
He looked out the window.
Hufftt~
Exhaled that heavy breath with resignation. Frustratingly he flicked his bangs up and massaged his head.
"It drives me crazy" he murmured.
"Do you just believe?" tanyanya turned around and looked at Yelena seriously.
Yelena surprised. He was silent, not knowing what to answer.
"I know you've lost your memory. But that doesn't mean you lost your mind, does it?" abugn.
"He said you were his fiancee and you believed?"
That sentence was enough to make Yelena waver.
Yelena's eyes were fixed on the figure of the man standing before her. He can't think straight.
Without the order, the clear hair began to go down her cheeks. Making the man standing in front of her stretch his hand wiping his tears.
"Why are you crying. You knew? women's tears are my weakness!" scold her.
"Sorry," said Yelena.
"If I wasn't his fiancee. Then who exactly am I?" he continued in between his sobs.
"Aiden!"
Bugh!
A successful hard blow landed on Aiden's handsome face. Making the corners of his lips drain fresh blood.
Sean gripped Aiden's collar and cornered him against the wall.
"I told you not to interfere!" press it firmly.
Aiden grinned, then wiped the corner of his bloody lips.
"Nobody outrageous," he wrote.
Sean took off his grip violently.
"Get out!" snapped it.
"Don't need you to tell me to leave either."
Brak!
"Damn!" decak Sean massaged the base of his nose.
"I'm sorry.." said Yelena.
Sean looked up at Yelena with a yet neutral look from his emotions.
The deg!
A feeling of fear spread throughout his body. He gripped his blanket tightly.
"Ah sorry," said Sean who quickly changed the look of his face.
Sean walked over to Yelena, his hands gently caressing her face. But Yelena turned her face away. Make the owner of the hand harden the jaw.
"Am I really your fiancee?" ask Yelena.
Sean was astonished by the sentence that Yelena had just thrown. He pulled back his hand, and made a tight fist down there to dampen his emotions.
He breathed his breath violently. Then walk towards the window.
"Hearing that phrase out of your mouth makes my heart ache" he said as he opened the window.
The morning wind entered the room. Thanks to the gust of wind, the room that was filled with heat became cooler.
Yelena stared at Sean's back. Guilt was invading his heart. He was forced to ask that because he could not remember anything. And Aiden's plausible remarks made him waver.
It's been three days. But every time he tried to force his brain to remember, all he got was a stun in his head.
Right now the only thing he could do was to trust the man standing behind him.
"I'm sorry, it's disappointing you" he said.
Sean turned and walked over. He raised his hand.
'Is he going to hit me?' his inner.
Because of that thought, Yelena's reflex closed her eyes.
The cup! Sean squeezes Yelena's hair up and kisses her forehead.
"You just have to trust me . The more you try to remember, the more you will feel pain . I don't want you to suffer because of that" Sean said
Slowly, Yelena opened her eyes. His heart was racing fast.
'This feeling.maybe I'm really his fiancee.' inwardly.
Yelena stared fixedly at Sean's eyeballs. But he did not know where the eyeballs were looking at him. It was clearly not looking into his eyes.
"Did the nurse send you breakfast?"
Yelena shook her head.
"I'll ask for it for you."
"Later there'll be Aunt April who will take care of you. I have to go back to the office" she continued, stroking Yelena's cheek.
This time it remains the same. Yelena simply answered him with a nod and a faint smile. Like a pet that is very obedient to its master.
Thought at Sean's back that was getting away and missing from behind the door there. He closed his eyes and heaved a heavy sigh.
"Can't he look me in the eye? wh why? am I not his fiancee?" muttered.
......................
"Sister!" call Aiden who is still waiting outside the room.
"Didn't I tell you to go!?" firmly Sean.
"Is your head memory broken? brother just told me to get out!"
Sean took a deep breath and exhaled violently. It then passed from before Aiden regardless of him.
"Dissociative Amnesia. Memory loss due to trauma,"
Sean's steps were stopped by a single sentence that came out of Aiden's mouth.
"Amnesia lasts only a few days, it can be several months or even several years. Do you know what will happen if your memory suddenly returns? he's going away. Brother might also be in trouble because of it." he continued.
Sean still did not respond.
"Think about today. What if he knew right now that he was just a surrogate? who is nothing but an impingement."
"Are you threatening me?" Sean turned to look at Aiden.
"I just left him unable to get his memories back, what's the trouble?" continued.
Aiden clenched his hand. He slowly walked over to Sean.
"Didn't I say it before? just make it real, then divorce it anytime" Sean said without burden.
Bugh!
"That was the reply to that!" whispered Aiden.
"Ha~" Sean grinned.
Both of his hands were clutching Aiden's collar. Like turning the pages of a book, Sean quickly changed the look of his face. His sharp eyes, his hardened jaw, anyone who saw him would definitely tremble.
"This is the last time I repeat my words. Don't interfere! or Vivian will never return to this country!" threaten Sean who then hit Aiden's body.
SERIATE...
