A Destiny

"How is he doing?"

Aiden gasped for air as he opened the door of Yelena's room. Vivian who saw that approached Aiden with a glass of mineral water in her hand. He thrust it at Aiden.

"Drink first." said Vivian.

Aiden walked towards the chair next to Yelena's bed after receiving the glass of water from Vivian. He threw his body on the chair while gulping the water until there was not a drop left.

"Do you care about this foreign girl?" ask Vivian blatantly.

Aiden placed his water glass on the table, then stared at the infusion connected to Yelena's body. Seeing this made him remember that day.

He was the one who took care of his brother on that street. He saw Yelena's belongings scattering in the middle of the highway. The fresh blood that was still inundating the streets seemed to be a silent witness to his fear at that time.

Aiden massaged the base of his nose while closing his eyes. While Vivian was still staring at him, waiting for an answer that never came out of Aiden's mouth.

Vivian let out a sigh of resignation, then turned her gaze away. He walked towards the balcony where the door was still open. She looked for some fresh air to dispel her irritation after seeing her lover care so much for the foreign girl.

"I'm part of this, too.."

Aiden who suddenly appeared behind him and hugged himself that made him soar in shock.

Aiden drowned his face on Vivian's shoulders.

"The poor girl must be subjected to this kind of unfair treatment.."

"He who awoke with the contents of his empty head had been toyed with,"

"I'm part of this game. I played him too. I just use my kindness as a pretext. As a pretext to cover up my mistakes. I can't do anything but protect her."

Vivian was no longer strong at hearing all that. He clasped tightly onto Aiden's arm that was clutching his body. He knows the burden Aiden has. He knew Aiden was a good man. He knew Aiden's weakness was a weak woman. He knows everything. Because weakness comes from it.

He did not hate Yelena. He also felt sorry for her. The girl who doesn't know anything should be someone else's duplicate. The girl with great hopes in her life must forget and also abandon her hopes.

Vivian knew that it was the path of fate. It was Yelena's destiny to have an accident and lose her memory.

'But once again, destiny was changed. That fate has been confounded by Sean!' muttered Vivian in heart.

A new destiny has been written. Yes, fate wouldn't have gone this far if Sean hadn't recognized him as a fiancee. Yelena will also calmly undergo rehabilitation to recover her memories.

Vivian also felt annoyed considering everything she had known.

"We'll keep her together." Vivian said as she turned and hugged Aiden.

"Ha-haus~" the voice made Aiden and Vivian let go of her embrace immediately in shock.

"She was conscious." said Vivian who immediately ran inside to see Yelena's condition.
