CHAPTER 33: Marriage Retreats

I'm helping the Sacred Lord prepare breakfast for Doctor Alma and Hanabi. I walked towards Hanabi's room to wake her up.

“Hana, wake up baby!” I said.

He opened his eyes immediately. “Kak Nayla.”

“Good morning baby, let's wake up we have breakfast first but before that you have to take a shower first,” I said.

“Hana can shower yourself?” my many.

“Can kak,” answer.

“Yaudah hunt shower so brother ready clothes for you,” I said.

Hanabi moved out of her bed to take a bath. I opened the closet and picked up the clothes he was going to wear. After that I made his bed. Before long Hana came out of the bathroom wearing her bathrobe.

“Kak Nayla where's Hana's shirt?” tanyakanya.

“It's a pity.” I said hand the shirt over to her.

Hanabi received the shirt and immediately went back inside the bathroom. A few minutes later he came out wearing a shirt.

“Hana here let sister comb her hair,” I said.

He walked over to me. After I finished taking care of Hanabi, I immediately invited her for breakfast. I asked him to sit down and I immediately got him some food. He ate his food very well. I feel good to see it that way.

Shortly the Nature Doctor came down from his room. He walked to the dining table. He looked surprised to see me at his house. You see, the Nature Doctor doesn't know that I'm actually staying at his house.

Last night after she finished eating I asked her to go to bed. I came out of his room straight to the kitchen to put the dirty dishes. Finally Doctor Alma finished all his food last night.

He sat next to Hanabi.

“You came by when ?” tanyakanya.

“I'm here,” I said.

“You slept here last night?” tanyakanya.

I'm getting a meal for the Nature Doctor. “Iya.”

“Kok last night you didn't tell me anyway?” tanyakanya.

I put the plate in front of him. “ Eat first.”

“Nayla,” I said.

I sat back in my place and took my food. “Udah eat only mas!” I said I started eating my food.

After eating I immediately took my medicine. I poured some water into my glass. Then I took my medication. And without me noticing the Natural Doctor from earlier was watching me.

“What medicine do you take?” tanyakanya.

“Just have a headache,” I said.

“But how much? Where can I see the cure!” the Natural Doctor.

I put it in my bag immediately. I don't want Doctor Alam to know the medicine I was taking.

“Nay, can you not if our wedding is pushed back?” tanyakanya.

“Bby,” answered.

“Tumben you immediately say usually you refuse,” he said.

“Well this is a different situation you just lost your mama, cook I still want to make you make my marriage spit-checks.” I said scooping my mouth food.

“Thank you Nay you already know me,” he said.

“Iya equally mas,” I said.

Actually besides that there's another reason why I agreed that our marriage was postponed. I actually wanted to measure the time of our marriage so that I could figure out a way that no one would know about my illness.

I don't want Doctor Alam to know about my illness he won't leave me and that means I'm going to make him suffer for the rest of his life for having to take care of me. And I don't want to make the man I love suffer because of me.

After eating the Doctor immediately drove me home. When I got in front of the house, I got out of the car.

“Mas, I entered first yes we are careful on the road do not badu you have to eat.” I said reminding him.

“Iya my future wife.” said ruffling my hair.

In my heart I felt happy when Doctor Nature called me that. But on one side I was sad to remember my illness. Can I hear him call me that again?

“Mas, mess.” I said straighten my hair.

“Sorry here I rapiin” said.

The Nature Doctor tidied up my messy hair because of it. But suddenly she stopped tidying my hair but looked at me instead.

“Cooking anyway?” I just can't believe it.

I hold my hair and it is true that Doctor Nature said. Though I hold my hair slowly but the hair in my hand is quite a lot. I was thinking is it because of my illness that my hair is falling out like this? I looked at the Nature Doctor who was also staring at me waiting for an answer from me.

“This must be because of the wrong shampoo deh,” I said.

“Kok can?” tanyakanya.

“Iya because the patch runs out I keep asking for the same brother Alex deh eh no yearya even fall out like gini,” I said.

“Oh,” said.

“You are I'm in now yes?” pamittu.

“Iya,” said.

I walked into my house. I didn't see ready either. As I was going up to my room I met Brother Alex.

“You've returned home deck?” tanyakanya.

“Iya kak,” I said.

“What is the state of Nature?” tanyakanya.

“Alright,” I said.

“Alhamdulillah if kayak is like that,” said.

“Which mother?” askaku from earlier did not see Mother.

“Again out daar he” said.

“Kalo sister go where really neat?” my many.

“Regular to meet Sasha.” He said with a smile.

“Yaudah brother, I went to the room first yes want to sleep again because I am very tired,” I said.

“Oudah there ride!” said.

I ran up the stairs to my room. I'll go in and lock the door. I sat in front of the mirror looking at my face. I hold my hair slowly why is my hair falling out now? I grabbed the comb in front of me. I combed my hair slowly as I saw it, so many of my hairs were there. I kept combing my hair and more and more hair stuck to the comb.

My tears are flowing into what am I like? If my hair falls out like this, my hair may run out. I kept crying looking at my hair falling out. Suddenly there was a knock.

Tock-a-tock

“Nayla,” sounds Mother's voice.

“Iya Bun.” I said wipe my tears.

I got out of my seat and opened the door immediately.

“What's Bun?” my many.

“You've been crying because your eyes are red?” tanyakanya.

“No one is crying,” I said.

“But your eyes are so red,” he said.

“This is just a flickering dust aja Bun,” I said.

“Totally?” tanyakanya.

“Iya,” I said.

“You didn't lie to Mother, did you? tanyakanya.

“Nggak Bun, what's wrong with Mommy Nay?” I tried to divert the conversation.

“Mother wants to tell you to eat, have you eaten yet?’ tanyakanya.

“Udah kok Bun, had breakfast at the home of Doctor Alam,” I said.

“Oh yes already so,” said.

“It's Nay coming in again huh Bun? You are so sleepy, I said,”.

“Iya, if that Mother down ya?” said.

I nodded as soon as Mother was gone I went back inside and locked the door. I threw my body into bed. I closed my eyes I was so tired of thinking about my illness.

What if one day I get caught it will all be sad . I don't want to make the people I love sad.
