CHAPTER 23: Misunderstanding

I walked down the stairs to the dining table. Mother and sister Alex were already there. They are enjoying their own food. I walked up to them and sat down at my place.

“ Deck, you are here so that you can bring your food to the room.” Said Brother Alex.

“ No papa sis, I'm already healthy how I eat here aja.” I said.

“ Nayla are you really healthy?” Ask mother.

“ Yes Bun, Nayla is well.” I said.

I took my food and immediately ate it.

“ Brother, later if brother wants to go to work I'm with ya?” my many.

“ Where are you going?” tanyanya while preparing a spoon of rice into his mouth.

“ I'm going to the home of Doctor Alam.” I said.

“ But you'll still be sick dek.” Said.

“ Did I told you that I was healthy kak.” I said.

“ But Doctor Nabila said you should rest at home.” Said.

“ I'm bored at home keep brother, I want to play with Hanabi.” I said.

“ Kalo is Hana aja who was invited here.” Mother Said.

“ Yes brother also agree let later brother who phone Alam.” Said Brother Alex.

“ Don't want my brother to go there.” I said.

“ Why is it the same as you want to go there or Hana who is here.” Said.

“ Well different if here is our home if there is the home of Doctor Alam.” My answer.

I rushed straight to my room but as I climbed the stairs Alex called out to me.

“ Deck, don't be long if brother stay.” Said.

“ Yes.” My answer.

I immediately ran towards the room. I'll change clothes soon. After that I polished a little bit of my face with make up.

I ran towards the shoe rack I picked up my sneakers and immediately put them on.

15 Minutes later I was done getting ready. I'll be heading to Alex's room. I knocked on the door not long after it opened. Alex's brother is well dressed.

“ You are so beautiful deck.” The compliment.

“ Yes dong indeed I am beautiful sister who never realized.” I said while shaking my hair.

“ Yaudah let's go.” Said.

I nodded we walked in tandem. We walked down the stairs. When we passed through the power room, Mother was there. As usual, Mother was watching her favorite soap opera.

We both walked up to him “ Mother, Alex left first.” He said while greeting Mother.

“ Nay also said Bun.” I said to shake his hand too.

“ Careful.” Said.

“ Yes Bun, Assalamualaikum.” I said.

“ Walaikumsalam.” Answer Mother.

We walked to Alex's car. As soon as I got to the front of the car I went straight inside. I sit in the back.

“ Deck, you are sitting behind?” Ask Brother Alex.

“ Well no papa I want to sit back.” I said.

“ Don't you sit in front of you think your driver's brother.” Said.

“ But I'm behind me I can fall asleep.” I said make excuses.

“ If you want to sleep do not need to go to the house of nature to sleep at home aja.” Said.

“ Yes I moved front.” I said in a annoyed tone.

I moved straight ahead without opening the door. Well I went straight ahead but Brother Alex hit me on the foot.

“ Deck, you're a girl like that?” enragedly.

“ Let me spit out kak.” I said.

“ Don't come out first.” Said.

“ Yes.” I said, opening the door and moving forward.

“ We are now leaving.” Said.

Alex's brother immediately drove his car to the house of Doctor Alam. A few minutes later we arrived in front of the Doctor Alam room. Before I got off I tidied up my makeup first. I want to look beautiful in front of the Nature Doctor.

I took the lipstick in my bag. I put a little on my lips. Kaka Alex who was next to me just looked while shaking. After I finish dressing up I put it back in the bag. And tidying up a little bit of my hair.

“ How Kak, beautiful right?” My toot.

“ Yes beautiful, you really want to meet Hana or want to meet Nature?” Ask.

“ Well both of them are home.” I said.

“ Basic naughty.” He said he ruffled my hair.

“ Ih Brother is a mess again.” I said to straighten my hair again.

“ Yaudah I got off first sister carefully nyetirnya.” I said.

“ Yes.” The answer.

“ Assalamualaikum.” I said.

“ Walaikumsalam.” The answer.

After I closed the car door Alex immediately left the house of the Nature Doctor. I went inside immediately but I saw a car parked in front of him. I'll go inside right away.

I knocked on the door not long after it opened. A 40-year-old woman is standing at the door. She smiled at me I smiled back at her. It must be the Sacred Bi that the Natural Physician told him about.

“ Assalamualaikum.” I said.

“ Walaikumsalam.” The answer.

“ Natural Doctor is there?” My toot.

“ Exist, who is this mbak?” Ask.

I smile for sure Bi Suci “ I Nayla Bi his future wife Doctor Nature.” I said.

Holy Mother looked surprised to hear me say that.

“ Sorry non please enter.” Said.

“ Yes no papa Bi.” I said.

I went straight in and the Sacred Lord closed the door.

“ Let's non follow me.” Said.

I followed him and then I remembered the car in front. Because as I recall it wasn't a Doctor Nature's car. I tried asking the Sacred Bi.

“ Bi, whose car ahead?” My toot.

“ The car temen den Nature non.” Said.

“ Oh Natural Doctor again no guests?” My toot.

“ Yes.” Said.

We arrived at the guest room but there was no one. He said there was a lot of people but his living room was quiet. Where are they chatting? I wonder who the guest really is.

“ Please sit first non let me call Doctor Nature.” Said.

“ Yes Bi.” I said.

The Sacred Bi walked up the stairs. I was thinking is Doctor Nature the same theme of chatting in the room so that aunt has to go upstairs? Not long after the Holy Mother came again.

“ Den Alam says non asked to wait a minute.” Said.

“ Yes Bi.” I said.

“ Non want to drink what?” Ask.

“ Do not need to Bi later I take it myself aja.” I said.

“ Kalo so aunty pampit to the back again non.” Said.

“ Yes Bi.” I said.

I looked around very quiet. I didn't see Hanabi either. Usually he wanders around the house. I waited for the Nature Doctor long enough. I filled my boredom by playing games on my phone.

A few minutes later the Nature Doctor walked down the stairs with a woman. I kept observing who that woman was like I'd seen her.

When they were close to me I just realized that the woman was the Sister who was in the hospital yesterday. I noticed that they seemed very close. What exactly is the relationship between the two of them?

Doctor Nature walked over to me “ Nay sorry to wait so long.” Said.

“ Not what mas.” I said.

I glanced at the Sister she smiled at me I returned her smile with a forced smile.

“ Oh yes Nay you remember this is Sister taking care of my mother?” tanyakanya.

“ Rin, Recognize this Nayla.” Said.

The nurse reached out her hand to me “ Rini.” Said.

I welcome his hand out “ Nayla.” Said.

“ Yaudah Lam I go home first huh?” his Surprise to the Nature Doctor.

“ Yes Rin, I anter you until the front huh?.” The Natural Doctor.

Sister Rini nods “ Nay I anter Rini first.” The Nature Doctor told me.

I nodded and they left me. Not long after the Nature Doctor returned to the living room. I sat there with a sullen face. I don't like the Nature Doctor's familiarity with Sister Rini.

Doctor Nature directly sat next to me “ You why Nay so your face pouted so?” tanyakanya.

“ No papa.” My answer.

“ Yaudah if it.” Said.

I was getting annoyed with him even more. Why the hell is he not sensitive at all? Supposedly if there is a girl who is craving it should be in the book instead of being let go like this. I decided to drink in the kitchen.

I used to drink alone at the Nature Doctor's house. Well I'm his future wife and that means this house will also be my home. I walked towards the kitchen of the Nature Doctor who felt that something had suckled me straight into the kitchen.

When I was in the kitchen I didn't see Sacred Bi there. Maybe the Sacred Bi is in his room. I opened the refrigerator I took a glass of water and immediately gulped it down with a single gulp. After my glass was empty, I poured it again.

Doctor of Nature walked up to me “ You why the hell is Nay not usually you like gini?” tanyakanya.

“ No papa.” I said back to drink.

“ You if there are any stories do not like gini.” Said.

“ Why is he here?” my many.

“ Who is he?” tanyanya's confused.

“ Don't have to pretend.” I said.

“ Pretend how the hell is Nay?” the question is getting confused.

“ Why Sister Rini here?” ask me with a slightly high tone.

“ He's here to tell you about mama.” Said.

“ Keep talking where?” my many.

“ We chat at my library.” Said.

“ Why not talk in the guest room? Or maybe you have a relationship?” My toot.

“ We chat there let's not hear Hana I don't want if she is sad with the condition of the real mama.” Said.

“ About me with Rini we both have a relationship.” Said.

My heart ached when I heard what the Nature Doctor said. How could he so easily talk to me like that. Though I'm his future wife why he had the heart for me.

“ How long have you been with him?” my many.

“ Well it's been a long time from college first.” Said.

They were both together in college. Then why did the Nature Doctor propose to me when it turns out that she already has Sister Rini. I can't help it anymore I have to make it clear what this all means.

I immediately sipped a glass to my teeth “ How come you are so easy anyway mas say that?” I asked who got more upset.

“ What's wrong we both were friends when we were in college.” Said.

“ What are friends?” I said surprised so from earlier what Doctor Nature meant was friendship. I'm banging my head. Why am I thinking this stupid?

“ No, no papa mas.” I said.

“ Really you are not papa?” tanyakanya.

“ Yes.” I said.

The Nature Doctor took me to sit in the dining room. I immediately sat down and the Nature Doctor immediately sat beside me.

“ Mas, Actually you have nothing to do but a mutual friend Sister Rini?” ask again.

“ Yes, you think I have a relationship with him?” tanyakanya.

“ Hemm...” I said pretending to be thinking.

“ Or don't-don't you think I'm the same Rini...?” said hanging.

I immediately shook my head “ I didn't think of anything.” I said evasive.

“ No I'm not jealous.” I said to hide my face that was starting to turn red.

“ No one is jealous.” I said evasive.

I tried to distract him so he wouldn't talk about it again. I grabbed the apple at the table, but the Nature Doctor grabbed it.

“ You answered first you were jealous right?” ask again.

“ No I am not jealous.” I said, trying to get the apple in his hand.

“ You answer first out of it you can eat this apple.” Said.

“ I'm not jealous mas, Here's the apple!” I said I tried to reach for the apple but failed again. I really want to eat that apple. I can't take it anymore because there's only one apple left on the table.

“ If you're not honest I ate the apple.” He opened his mouth to eat the apple.

I immediately stopped it “ Yes I do I am jealous, satisfied?” I said I was totally unwilling if the apple was eaten by the Nature Doctor.

Doctor Nature smile win “Udah where the apple is.” I said.

“ Why are you jealous?” tanyakanya.

“ Well I see you guys like a hell of a deck I was wrong if I was jealous?” my many.

“ No, you are not wrong I just look at you jealous like that means you love me.” Said.

“ Where is the apple.” I said ask for the apple but the Nature Doctor didn't give it.

“ But I'm even more cool if you can believe me if I'll never do you anything else.” Said.

“ Well I know where dare you ngelakuin it to me.” I said.

“ You know so can you trust me?” tanyakanya.

“ Yes I believe, where is the apple mas.” I said I was trying to get the apple.

“ Why not seriously talk about it? That's why I ate the apples.” He said I held him down.

I took a breath for a while “ Yes I believe in you my dear mas.” I said with a smile.

“ Is dong.” Said.

“ Where is the apple.” I said.

He held out the apple as I was about to pick it up The Nature Doctor immediately bit the apple. I hit him I wanted the apple so badly but he ate it.

“ Mas, how to eat anyway?” just pissed.

He smiled as he continued to chew on the apple that was in his mouth. I grabbed the apple in his hand.

“ You promised you wouldn't eat the apple.” I looked at the apple in my hand.

He just smiled “ Do not be sad later I buyin.” Said.

“ Really you want to buy me an apple?” my many.

Doctor Alam smiled “ Yes, now where is the apple.” He said he asked for the apple I was holding.

I immediately hid it behind my body “ Don't want this mine.” I said.

“ But I ate Nay.” Said.

“ No this is mine.” I said keep the apple.

“ I'll buy you another apple Nay.” Said.

“ Really? You're not lying, are you?” my many.

“ Yes, when did I lie to you?” tanyakanya.

I shook my head “ Never, here is the apple.” He said he stretched out his hand.

I held out the apple but I pulled my hand again and ate the apple. I ate it on the other side.

“ Nay how do you eat?” tanyakanya.

“ Did I say this is my apple yes I eat.” I said.

“ Tidy it up I've eaten.” Said.

“ Now I also eat.” I said, biting the apple again.

“ Udah Nay where is the apple.” He said he took the apple.

I hid it behind my body “ No way, Udah come now you have to buy me another apple.” I said pull her body so she could stand up.

“ Where was the apple.” Said.

“ You want this?” I showed the apple.

“ We buy apple first.” I said pushing his body.
