It took me a long time to get to Canada. Shaka, along with Delvin, and Aslan board a private jet to get there.
According to information obtained by Delvin, Zarif is now in the Canadian capital opening a bar business that is quite famous in the country.
At 9pm when they arrive and land safely in the country.
"Want a break first or go straight to Zarif, boss?" delvin asked Shaka. They just got out of the plane with Shaka leading the way.
"To the hotel first, I want to clean up" said Shaka.
"You didn't ask me, Vin?" Aslan open the sound. The man was right next to Delvin.
"I didn't ask you to tail, did I?"
Aslan flicked his finger, "At least have a little pleasantry with me."
The three of them finally headed to the hotel that Delvin had booked. Their rooms are next to each other.
"We'll meet here in an hour." Shaka said at the door.
"An hour?" Aslan asked with a gawk.
"You know clearly I don't want to linger here" Shaka said as he put his hand in his pocket.
"But an hour isn't it too short? How about we meet Zarif tomorrow?" Aslan was still with his misdeeds. There was a large backpack on his back.
"You can't come, Aslan. I didn't even bring you here."
Aslan clucked. He volunteered to participate. Maybe a chance to meet an old friend.
"You're so cruel, anyway. Okay, one hour I'll be ready here."
"okay."
They finally entered their hotel rooms. Shaka who intends to just take a shower and clean up does not take long. Delvin is the same. Another with Aslan, the man was so excited to be in his room. Bathe with lightning, eat a snack that is deliberately carried by him in the backpack he carries, then fall.
Yes, Aslan is indeed a man who can not get out of bed. The man spends fifteen hours a day just lying down and sleeping considering the effort he goes through is unlike Shaka who is in control of a large company.
An hour passed, Aslan who was just closing his eyes for fifteen minutes immediately woke up with a crumpled face.
Hearing the bell ringing, he immediately got up and walked towards the door. "Just woke up, huh?" Ask Delvin. The bule man was ready in an ash-coloured casual suit. While Shaka stood leaning on the pillar with a black leather jacket.
Aslan nodded in lethargy. "Who's he gonna kidnap?" Aslan pointed at Shaka with his chin. Indeed the man looked quite striking, from the bottom up dressed in black. Not to mention with a black baseball cap attached to his head.
"Being playing the role of a villain." Delvin said slowly, only heard by Aslan.
Aslan chuckled at hearing that.
"Hurry over." Shaka said to interrupt them.
"A little while, I wash my face first." Aslan immediately passed back into the room to wash his face immediately.
...****************...
The three of them entered Zarif's bar located not far from the hotel they were staying at. Places with minimal lighting and mellow genre songs greet their sense of hearing.
They walked to the corner of the room, where their meeting place with Zarif was.
Zarif was there talking to someone who seemed to be a bartender from the clothes the man was wearing.
They sat down in front of Zarif, and the bartender left immediately.
"It's been a long time since I've seen each other." Zarif started to greet casually.
Aslan replied with a laugh, "Well, you look different, Rif." Aslan said with a look of amazement. How not, the Zarif they knew used to be a man with a tall thin body and short hair. There were glasses on his face. Now, Zarif looks 180 degrees different. The man looks masculine with a muscular body and mullet hair. The glasses that adorned his face were not there.
"The more mature the appearance will change, right." Sahut Zarif shakes hands with Aslan and Delvin. His gaze looked at Shaka who was sitting with a leaner while looking at Zarif with a serious look.
"Aarshaka? How you doing?" Zarif asked with a slightly awkward look because of Shaka's piercing look. His hands stretched out to shake Shaka.
Aware Zarif greeted awkwardly and with a prying look, Shaka hurriedly changed his face and gaze to be friendly. "Hi, bro. I'm good, how about you?" he said with a friendly smile. The silly face that had disappeared since Jean's accident, reappeared.
"Thank God, I'm fine." Zarif replied with a big smile. "You're still the most handsome among them, huh." licked Zarif to break the mood.
"You don't think I'm handsome, huh? We even have a distinctive face each." Aslan pointed to Shaka's face, and Delvin's.
Their faces are different from their own. Shaka typical Asian face, Delvin typical face of westerners, while Aslan typical middle eastern face. Zarif himself of Canadian-American descent clearly has a typical western face.
"Yes, yeah, all right. You didn't change, yeah." Zarif said with laughter. He opened a bottle of champagne and poured it in a glass. "So, twenty-six years old, who has a family?"
Hearing Zarif's question, made Shaka's emotions seem to appear. Married—family. Shaka recalls their purpose here to ask directly about Karen.
"I certainly haven't. Moreover, Delvin," said Aslan embracing Delvin beside him.
Delvin did not respond, indifferently drinking a glass of champagne that had been poured.
"Ah, what's Delvin's nickname... I forgot a little." Zarif asked with a frown.
"Kanebo is dry." Aslan said.
"Ah, right. Ahaha.." Zarif laughed with Aslan.
"Sound you're married, Rif?" Shaka asked after silently listening.
Zarif turned his head, looking at Shaka. The smile on his face suddenly faded slowly. "Where did you hear it?"
"A business acquaintance of mine in Canada." Answer Shaka.
"really. I got married two years ago. My wife is currently at home taking care of my son." replied Zarif with a friendly look back.
"You even have kids?" Aslan asked with a gawk. Delvin immediately pinched Aslan's waist giving a warning if he is currently in serious fashion.
Getting the pinch, Aslan immediately returned to normalcy. But with a degree of curiosity, he kept asking, "You met your wife here? Is he Canadian too?"
"Yes, he's Canadian." said Zarif and drank his champagne.
"Is she pretty?"
"of course. Even our son is handsome."
"Well, I wanted to meet them. Invite us to your house, dong!"
Shaka at the end was just silent. Listen to the enthusiastic conversation of Aslan and Zarif. Let Aslan be his pawn for now so that Shaka's suspicion of Zarif is not smelled by the man.
Shaka will be silent until the moment when he will attack slowly.
