HUSBAND PROBLEM

HUSBAND PROBLEM
Clarity

"Good morning, residents of Avveroes!"

Selma, Gavi, and Jean turn their heads toward the source of the sound.

"What are you doing here, bad boy?" Selma's sharp-pitched cry made to Eshan.

Eshan, the rattler displayed his innocent snort. The twenty-year-old man approached Selma with a slight run. "Mama's still mad at me, huh?"

Selma did not answer.

"I'm sorry, Ma. What should I do to keep Mama from getting mad at me?" Eshan displayed his sad face in exaggeration. Jean saw her own horror.

"Go back to your sister's apartment."

"No, it's boring. I miss Mama." Eshan.

Selma did not answer, instead cool to spend the food on her plate that was still left.

Feeling no answer, Eshan turned to look at Gavi and Jean. "Uncle, Brother Jean, help me persuade Mama, dong." he said in a frustrated tone, the article has been three weeks Selma silenced while one week Eshan will return to America. Continuing college.

Gavi and Jean compactly shrugged, unable to help anything, as they understood how Selma was. It is not easy to persuade, only with Zian the late Father who can easily persuade his Mother.

Eshan who did not get any help from his Uncle or Brother felt even more moody.

"Well, if Mama's still mad at me. Don't be angry for long, Ma. Another week I'm back in America, I love Mama." Eshan said listlessly. Turn back to Jean's apartment. However, he had not been able to step, his ears were pulled hard by Selma.

"aaa! Mama..." Eshan grimaced in pain.

"Where are you bad boy?"

"So Mama told me to go back to the apartment."

"How dare you get out, your ears are Mama's cut."

"No, ouch.. Mama, sakiit."

Eshan was still grimacing, even his ears had been reddened by Selma's unkempt pull.

"Take off, yes, Ma." persuaded Eshan with a clear countenance.

Selma released her pull. Suddenly Eshan immediately held his ear which was still throbbing pain.

"Hope, then go back to your room" said Selma.

Eshan smiled happily at Selma's words. "Mama has forgiven me?"

"If you do it again, there'll be no apology for you."

Eshan immediately hugged Selma's body. Really, she missed her mother a lot. "Thank you, Mama. My mom is the best and most beautiful even though she is sometimes a lioness, but I still love Mama."

Unaware of his words like sowing salt on a wound, the earlobe returned to Eshan.

"What did you say?!"

"Ouch.. Ouch, Mama. Why pull my ear again?"

Jean clucked at Eshan's inexhaustible behavior. Selma had just softened, already made an emotion again. While Gavi, who was used to seeing the quarrel between his brother and nephew, responded just plain, finishing the rest of his meal as if he was not disturbed in the slightest.

Suddenly a bell rang from the front.

Seeing for a moment the condition of Selma and Eshan who were still noisily, Jean shook her head then got up and walked to see the guest.

Shaka stood at the door of his house in a casual suit while carrying a bag of plastic cake made by Haisa. Smiling kindly greeted Jean.

"Saka? I thought we'd meet at eleven?"

"Can't I come early?" ask Shaka back.

"Eh, of course I can. Let's go in." Jean invites Shaka to come in.

"Have breakfast?"

Shaka nodded then sat down on the guest sofa.

Shaka's hearing caught the commotion from within. Jean also heard. It seemed that the quarrel between Selma and Eshan was still not over. Jean feels bad for Shaka.

"In a moment, yeah."

Jean hurried to Selma to stop their quarrel. "Mama."

"Shut up, Jean. Mama is punishing this bad boy. How dare he call Mama, the lioness!"

"Ma, stop, there's Shaka in front" said Jean who immediately made Selma release her jewelry to Eshan.

Eshan rubbed his reddened ear again, "Who is Shaka?" ask Eshan.

Selma's face, which was initially emotional, suddenly turned 180 degrees to be cheerful. "My daughter-in-law's candidate is here? Why did you just say it, Jean?"

"I-" Jean did not have time to answer, Selma had gone ahead.

"Sister, who's Shaka?" eshan asked back because the previous question was ignored.

"My friend." replied Jean briefly then passed from there, approaching Shaka and Selma in front.

Eshan looked at Gavi as if asking, Gavi again just shrugged his shoulders.

"Son Shaka, what's up here in the morning?" Sapa Selma cheerfully approached Shaka.

Shaka just replied with a polite smile. "Morning, Ma."

Selma sat down opposite Shaka, "Don't you want to propose, Jean?"

Selma's unexpected questions make Shaka a throb. Jean who had just come to hear his unwitting mother sighed. "Ma, I have something to talk to Shaka about." Jean explained.

"Have you secretly arranged a wedding date?" Selma asked everywhere.

"Ma." Jean warns her mother to stop. However, Selma seemed to not want to understand, instead asked more and more. "Is Mama wrong?" she asked with a plain look at Jean and Shaka alternately.

"alright. Mama's just kidding, don't be so uptight." Selma said cheerfully as if her question was nothing.

Shaka responded with an awkward laugh.

"All right, you guys just talk. Mom go inside first." Selma who understood they needed privacy, resigned.

After Selma leaves, awkward circumstances envelop Shaka and Jean.

"We're talking in the back garden, come on."

***

"Are you healthy?" Shaka asked pleasantries.

Now they are sitting next to each other in the garden chair behind his house.

"It." Almost a week passed, of course, his condition had improved. Especially with Selma's supervision.

"That night, I'm sorry I came so late. There was a sudden meeting that I couldn't stay" Shaka said in a regretful tone.

"It's okay, after all, I was wrong to leave my phone at my friend's house so I couldn't reach you" explains Jean trying to make Shaka feel less guilty.

Shaka nodded.

Jean bit her lips, wanting to discuss matchmaking. However, he was confused as to where to start.

"You want to talk about matchmaking?" Shaka asked as if he understood Jean's confusion.

"Yes." Yeah."

"What do you want to ask?"

Shaka understands Jean very well about the awkwardness in Jean's heart and mind about the clarity of their matchmaking.

Jean straightened her back with her body facing Shaka, "That match, I mean your mother and my mother actually betrothed us?"

Shaka smiled faintly at Jean. Right, guesses. The girl is still hesitating. "You think with your mother who asked like that, is this matchmaking not serious?"

Jean scratched his temple.

"Say, Jean."

"I just feel like it's too sudden" Jean said.

Naturally Jean felt this matchmaking was too sudden, especially with Selma who said while joking. Therefore he intends to ask Shaka to be clearer.

"I get. What about you, do you mind?"

Jean snitch.
