Shaka opened his two eyes as he felt something was interfering with his closed vision. The sunlight had already barged inward with the curtains that had already been revealed slightly.
Shaka blinked into his two eyes, dashing out the light and evaporating. He glanced at his body, finding a bright blue blanket wrapped around his body.
Shaka didn't come home last night. He stayed and fell asleep on the couch. He thinks maybe Jean covered him last night.
The man got up, stumbled into the bathroom intent on washing his face, but his steps stopped when he found Jean with a black apron cooking in the kitchen.
Shaka approached her doubtfully. Frightened Jean was still angry about yesterday.
Realizing someone was approaching, Jean turned her head and smiled at Shaka.
Shaka smiled back, "Morning."
"Morning."
Shaka approached, standing behind Jean, "What cooking?"
"Green chili chicken fried rice." Jean answered without looking. "Wash your face first. Brush your new teeth in the glass cabinet."
Shaka said, leaving Jean and busying himself in the bathroom near the kitchen. The man walked with a frown in his mind.
*From ra*ut his face looks ordinary, still angry no, yes...
Twenty minutes later Shaka was done with his affairs in the bathroom. The man headed for the kitchen and sat down right opposite Jean.
At the dining table there are two dishes of fried rice, cucumber that has been cut, and two glasses of water.
"You haven't eaten yet?" shaka asked when she found the fried rice on Jean's plate still intact.
"I'm waiting for you."
Shaka was stunned, "Eat."
Jean nodded and ate his fried rice solemnly. Shaka did the same. This was the first time he had eaten the food that the girl had made, and honestly it tasted really good. According to him, this is the second dish after his mother who feels the most delicious.
"What's not good?" jean asked as he watched Shaka go silent with his mouth full without chewing.
Shaka blinked, looked at Jean and then shook his head, "This is delicious. Very good."
"Really?"
Shaka nodded quickly while chewing then swallowed it.
They eat in a blanket of silence. They were busy with breakfast the next morning.
"Jeannie." Shaka.
"Hm?"
"You still mad at me?" great-grandson Shaka slowly.
"Why angry?"
"On your lotus cup."
Jean looked up, looking at Shaka. "I'm just sad, but it's okay."
"I'm sorry." said Shaka slowly.
Jean just silently did not respond making Shaka whose heart still felt heavy, feel bad. This is the first time their relationship looks so awkward after almost two months, and the cause is because of Shaka himself.
Jean was done with her breakfast the next morning.
"When you're done eating, bring the plate to me." After saying that, the girl got up towards the sink to clean the dirty dishes and cookware.
Shaka spends his breakfast, drinks water quickly and approaches Jean with his dirty dishes.
Jean, who was focused on washing, was shocked when she felt her stomach in the back of the back after a dirty plate placed in the sink.
"Tell me what do I have to do to make it up to you?" Shaka's heavy voice rang out on the side of his left ear.
"You're still mad at me, aren't you?"
"No. Release."
Instead of being let go, Shaka clenched his arms, "Not until you forgive me."
Jean put down her dishwasher sponge, then looked at Shaka, "I've forgiven you."
"really?"
"Yes." Yeah."
Shaka frowned at the unchanging look on Jean's face. Still flat, not as usual. "Your face why is it still like this?"
"Why my face?"
"Flat asphalt." Answer Shaka origin.
Hearing Shaka's reply back to his emotions, Jean looked at Shaka sharply, "I pulled my words earlier. I haven't forgiven you yet." said Jean, who of course made Shaka flutter.
"Can't do that, dong. What am I wrong again?" Shaka shouts innocently unaware of his mistake.
"You think for yourself! Sana, go! Don't hug me anymore." Dispel Jean while continuing her delayed dishwashing activities.
However, Shaka does not heed Jean's ouster. The man is still in his position. "Don't do that, I'm sorry."
"Do you know where your fault is?" asked Jean fiercely.
"Breaking your pottery cup, right?"
Jean snorted, apparently Shaka was not aware of the words he said earlier when calling Jean asphalt.
Jean certainly as a woman was offended. Her face was covered with asphalt. Asphalt is black, uneven, not smooth, and sometimes broken. Was Jean's face that bad up to the asphalt?
How dare he call my face asphalt. Is my face that bad, huh?
Jean grumbled inwardly, channeling her emotions through the frying pan, rubbing it tightly until Shaka who saw it goosebumps himself.
Slowly, Shaka loosened his embrace. Step away and slowly retreat from the girl's body.
Jean currently looks very creepy, like a lioness ready to go on a rampage. Though clearly last night the girl still looks fine and still responds well even though sometimes it looks furious and anxious.
Did I make a mistake again? But which one?
Shaka, who still feels that he is not doing anything that makes Jean emotional, is confused by himself. What made Jean look so angry that the wok became her impingement?
Shaka stepped onto the sofa, intending to sit there. Before that, he folded the blanket he wore last night and placed it in a corner.
Inadvertently his gaze was directed at the calendar on the wall. There were red circles on the last two dates. Shaka approached while thinking the red circle for what it was.
There's a small note in the initial circle that says 'Haid.'
Jesus, so Jean was bleeding, it's worth it that the girl looks so awful. Shaka knows all too well about hormonal changes, and the mood of a person who is menstruating, because he also has an older sister.
Remembering Talita, the two-child woman when menstruating her mood is not merciful. Sometimes anger is not clear, then it will not be long to cry. Usually if Talita is like that, Shaka will be the growth. Whatever Shaka does looks wrong in Talita's eyes.
Is Jean gonna be like a sister, huh? Angry is unclear when bleeding. I wasn't wrong she was angry when she said she forgave me.
Shaka still believes himself that he has done nothing wrong again, feeling that Jean is angry with him because of the effects of menstruation that is in his path.
Shaka just does not understand that sometimes Talita is angry with him because it is Shaka's tough nature that sometimes makes anyone's emotions rise instantly, he said, it's just a coincidence that Talita was menstruating so it's not easy to control it.
So is Jean now.
Jean is not an easy person to get emotional, she is a usually calm person. It's just that, sometimes the 'blood' effect can not be controlled, making it easily ignited emotions.
Shaka as a man does not understand, likewise with foreign men out there who sometimes understand the nature of a woman who is easily fiery during menstruation and does not realize his mistake when it is not necessarily like that. It could be that they are fiery because you guys make mistakes, it does not mean that women at that time were just indignantly vague as men have misunderstood.
The topic is very sensitive, yes.. Hehe
