"How can he go and ignore his own family, especially his son?"
"How could he possibly calm down, if there was a responsibility he had forgotten here?"
"What should I do now?"
"I can't possibly whine at my father or mother, but if things like this continue and Wawan doesn't come back, what can I do?"
"Where is he really, and what is he doing out there, so forget about us?"
So many questions came to Yasmin's heart. He pondered his fate from all the questions he asked himself, with nothing he could answer.
Finally, Yasmin fell asleep next to her son Nanda, who was able to fall asleep after taking medicine from the stall, which was bought by her neighbor.
Early in the morning, at about half-four in the morning, Yasmin woke up. He fumbled Nanda's forehead which was getting hotter. In fact, Nanda was also delirious in her sleep.
"Father.. papa..."
"Dear, Nanda. Why are you, son?" call Yasmin in a panic. She was afraid something would happen to her son.
So repetitive and continuous. Yasmin became confused and did not know what to do, because to contact her mother or father, she already did not have a mobile phone. Because, his cellphone he sold a month ago, to pay for the rent of a house that has been delayed, because Wawan also did not give him money to pay for the rent of this house.
Finally, Yasmin was determined. After cleaning up his potluck, he took Nanda outside the house. He wanted to ask his mother and father for help. He thought, there is no way both parents would have the heart if they had seen the state of Nanda as it is now, sick and unkempt.
Yasmin walked towards the campus with the Nanda sniffer. He was looking for a motorcycle taxi driver who used to hang out at the ojek base there. Finally, riding on a motorcycle taxi at the front base of the campus, Yasmin headed to her parents' house, to ask for help.
"Pak will pay if you get home, yes, I do not hold any money at all" Yasmin told the taxi driver, with an anxious face.
"Yes, come on!"
The motorcycle taxi driver who saw the situation of Nanda who was weak, did not have the heart and agreed without thinking about many things.
Yasmin was piggybacking quickly, hoping that Nanda would soon get help from her grandparents.
"Sir, hurry up a little sir! My son needs help quickly!" pinta Yasmin, so that the motorcycle taxi driver runs faster.
The motorcycle taxi driver just nodded, and drove the bike even faster, as the passengers requested.
About five o'clock less, Yasmin finally arrived at her parents' house.
"Wait a minute, sir!" yasmin said, asking the taxi driver to wait for him, while he went inside.
Tok tok!
Tok tok!
"Mom! Daddy!" yasmin shouted loudly.
"Auntie, Brother Sekar!" Yasmin shouted again, calling her sister, Sekar and also the housemaid's aunt.
Tok tok!
"Dad, Mother. Please Nanda!"
Yasmin knocks on the door again, calling Edi's father and Sofie's mother, her parents.
Cklek!
The door opened, a maid's aunt appeared surprised to see Yasmin's arrival early in the morning.
"Eh, non Yasmin, what's going on?" aunty asked confusedly, with Yasmin's unusual arrival. He also looked at Nanda, who was in Yasmin's arms.
"Nanda Bi, Nanda is sick," Yasmin replied with an anxious face, and wanted to cry.
"Yasmine!"
From the back, came Sofie's mother and Edi's father, who were curious about the noise in the living room.
"Mom, Nanda Ma'am. Well, help Yasmin Well, for Nanda's sake, huhuhu..."
Yasmin sobbed, saying that Nanda was sick and needed help quickly.
Edi's father also finally collapsed. She couldn't possibly have gotten that much work on her own granddaughter.
When Edi's father touched his grandson's forehead, he immediately regained consciousness, because Nanda's body temperature was really high. He immediately went inside the house, to retrieve the car keys that he was going to use to take Nanda to the hospital.
"Kneel!"
Edi's father, took his wife and Yasmin, who was still holding Nanda, to immediately go to the hospital. He immediately prepared the car.
"Bi, please wake up Sekar, and tell him if we go to the hospital yes" Sofie's mother said, giving a message to her housemaid's aunt.
"Yes Ma'am," replied the maid's aunt by nodding her head obediently. He was also worried to see Nanda.
"Mom, there's a taxi man in front. Yasmin has not paid yet. Yasmin had no money at all" Yasmin said slowly, before getting into the car.
"Oh, yes, I paid for it. I'm waiting outside the gate, yeah," said Sofie's mother, then walked over to the outside of the fence and met the taxi driver who was still waiting.
"Sorry, old. Here's the fare" Sofie's mother said, handing a red banknote to the taxi driver.
"Yes ma'am, it's okay. But here's a small fortune Ma'am, I don't have any change" replied the taxi driver with an awkward smile. It was still morning, and he had no other passengers before Yasmin, so there was no money for his change.
"Take the change, sir. And once again, thank you," Sofie's mother said again, nodding.
"Oh, thank you very much ma'am. Hope the little one gets well soon."
After that, the ojeker returned again to the base of the ojek earlier.
"Come on Ma!"
Edi's father's car stopped, and waited for his wife, to go inside and go to the hospital, taking their grandson, Nanda, who was helpless.
Arriving at the hospital, Nanda was immediately taken into the IGD room. He was immediately treated by a guard doctor.
"Where's the papa?" edi's father asked Yasmin, who was crying in his mother's arms.
Yasmin did not answer. She was still crying and could only shake her head, hearing her father's questions, about her husband, Wawan.
edi's father let out a long sigh and closed his eyes to make his chest more spacious and not feel tight. He felt that his daughter-in-law, Wawan, was indeed a man who could not be held responsible.
"Aren't you looking for him?" sofie's mother asked, stroking Yasmin's back.
"Already Mom. But apparently, he had not been to work for four days, even he also had a lot of debt to the son of the printing owner. Yasmin was confused, especially when Wawan also did not give money to Yasmin. So, where's the money he borrowed?"
Yasmin was confused by her own husband's behavior. I don't know what really happened to Wawan at this time, because he disappeared without any news.
Edi's father certainly did not have the heart to see the situation of his son, Yasmin. Especially with the circumstances of his grandson, Nanda, who is like unkempt. Yasmin is his son. He couldn't be angry for too long. She feels sorry for Yasmin, who is living a disharmonious and unhappy household life just as imagined.
He also felt very sorry, for letting his son, live together with Wawan, his irresponsible son-in-law towards his wife and his own son.
Eventually, Edi's father tried to contact Abhimanyu. He wanted to invite his son, to find the existence of Wawan, just like before.
But this time not to be asked to go home, but to find out what really happened to Wawan, so there was no news from him, and let his son and wife be abandoned like that.
..."Hello Abi. Do you have a job today?"...
Edi's father called Abhimanyu, as he said goodbye to his wife to go out of the hospital for a while, on the grounds of drinking. His grandson, Nanda, is still in the IGD room.
..."There's a Dad, why?"...
Abi answered the question from his father, because he did not know anything. No one gave him any news about Nanda, who had just entered the hospital.
..."I want there to be a need with you. Later, we'll go back to the office to see you first?"...
..."Yes Well. Abi will let you know when you get home from the office."...
Once finally, Edi and Abhimanyu's father agreed to meet after his return from the office. However, Abhimanyu still did not know what his father wanted to say to him, because when asked, Edi's father simply replied, "later you will know."
Abi no longer wonders what really happened. He just accepted his father's request.
