"Mbak Jani does not need to pick up Miko with Anggi. Just want to have a chat" said Sekar, during the day, when he came along with his housemaid aunt, who was going to Miko and Anggi's school, to pick them up.
"Auntie please pick it up yourself." Now, instead of talking to her housemaid's aunt.
"Njeh Bu," answered the housemaid Sekar, and immediately went out of the house again, not waiting for Anjani, who usually accompanied him to go pick up the children.
"Tumben, what's wrong?" ask Anjani, to Miko's mother, Sekar.
Usually, Sekar will rest if the daylight is like today. And the housemaid's aunt, who picks up Miko, who is sometimes accompanied by Anjani.
"Some time to talk to Jani. If at home alone is quiet, especially during the day like this, Ma'am," replied Sekar gave an excuse.
Anjani nodded in agreement to Sekar's words, which indeed had a point. Especially if the kids are not home from school. The house feels lonely. There is no sound of children, who used to enliven the atmosphere of the house to be more alive.
Now the two of them, sitting in the guest chair, talked about many things.
"Oh yes, Jani, Yasmin has plans to return to Indonesia next month!" sekar told the news of his sister, Yasmin, who is now in Taiwan, along with her husband and son.
"Well, really?" tanya Anjani made sure. He had just heard of his sister-in-law's plan.
"Yes, he said Nanda wants to go to school in Indonesia."
Anjani nodded her head, hearing the explanation from her sister-in-law, Sekar.
Finally, Sekar told Anjani about the news of his sister, Yasmin who recently. Also his nephew, Nanda, who is now a big boy, and has been in high school, if he is in Indonesia.
Anjani did not get much news from Yasmin. Perhaps because Yasmin also thought that, Anjani also close to her brother, Sekar or mother and father.
So it can be ascertained if Anjani will also know the news, from them-they. Moreover, Nanda had also sent messages to Ara often.
The two of them, Ara and Nanda, had indeed been close from childhood. That's because in the past, Nanda co-existed with the Anjani family. Whether in Jakarta or Bogor.
Nanda was also used to calling Anjani and Abhimanyu father and mother. Just like Ara, yes get used to that title.
"He must have been big. I could have been pangling when I met Nanda," Anjani said, imagining how Nanda's body, used to being used to her, grew up as a child.
"Of course Ma'am. In the past, Nanda's body, more than children his age. Bongsor the hell he is!" sahut Sekar, who also remembered, how the shape of the body of his own nephew, Nanda, long ago.
And so it ended, the two of them conversed as usual, about various kinds of things. Until it is not felt, the time Miko and Anggi come, along with the housemaid's aunt.
"Mama!"
"Mother!"
Miko and Anggi, simultaneously why are they both. With a small run, while jumping up and down in excitement.
"Eh, I don't give you a greeting anyway, I just came and went into the house" said Anjani, reminding them both.
Miko and Anggi, both smiling while grinning the horse, because they feel guilty.
"Assalamualaikum mother of Jani..."
"Assalamualaikum mama Sekar's..."
Finally, the two of them said their greetings as well, to Anjani and Sekar, who were smiling happily, looking at the behavior of their children.
"Thank you, Miss Lek," Anjani said, to the aunt of Sekar's maid.
"Together with Ms. Jani."
Anjani got up from her seat, then walked towards the kitchen. She took a drink, to give to the housemaid's aunt.
"This is Miss Lek, drink first."
Anjani gives a glass filled with water, to be drunk by a maid's aunt. He also invited the maid's aunt, to taste his homemade cake, which was on the guest table.
"Oh yeah Bi, here's a cake. Come on eat. Mari, Anggi. Anjani thrusts a plate filled with cake at the maid's aunts, Miko and Anggi.
Miko and Anggi, go along to take the cake, scrambling.
They panic when their children fight.
"Hehehe. Let it be," Anjani said with a smile while nodding a few times at her sister-in-law.
"I'm sorry, Ms. Jani, if Miko often ngerepotin and also naughty," said Sekar, apologizing to Anjani.
Anjani nodded, but also shook her head, while smiling to herself.
"It's okay. His name is also children" said Anjani quickly.
Shortly after, Sekar invites Miko and the housemaid's aunt, to return home.
The three of them, say goodbye to Anjani and Anggi. Although actually, Miko still does not want to go home now, because she is used to playing with Anggi first before returning home in the afternoon.
But because now his mother, Sekar, is also healthy with her stomach enlarged as well, but there is a housemaid aunt, who helps her mother, for homework and also takes care of her as well.
When in fact, Miko felt no need to bother being taken care of anymore. Miko thinks that, she is already big, and can take care of herself, without needing to be taken care of again by others.
*****
Ara and her friends, were already preparing to go home, when the school bell rang.
"Ra, you were picked up right?" ask Ara's friend, who has been very memorized, if Ara has a motorcycle taxi driver, who drove her to pick her up.
"Yes. Even though the bike was leaking this morning, surely this afternoon it was not, it has been patched as well" replied Ara, explaining.
"If it's not what?" ask Ara's friend again, wondering.
"Eh, don't say that dong! I have to go to the stop over there, if you want to go to my house, pretty far too!"
Ara so imagined how tired she would be today, if what was said by her friend really happened.
"Hopefully, there was a handsome prince kayaking this morning..."
His friend Ara, on the contrary, imagined something that Ara could not imagine.
This morning, when Ara entered the classroom, she did tell about the incident she had when her motorcycle was leaking, and she was forced to join someone unknown, not to be late for school.
"Well, if in the classic stories, it must be a prince with his white horse..."
That was how it was this morning, commented his friend Ara, as Ara finished telling her story.
"Nhd!"
Ara nodded, hearing the words of her friend. Now, he's carrying his school bag, before he puts it in a sling.
"But you know him doesn't Ra?" the friend asked, urging Ara, to tell her the name of her upperclassman, who had helped Ara this morning.
"Don't know, hehehe..."
Ara replied with an amused chuckle, as she only realized that, she also did not know the name of the person who had helped her this morning.
"He's wearing a full face helmet, which I recognize his face. I just saw the helmet and the bike. Uh, the jacket is ding!"
The answer given by Ara, made her friend widen her eyes. She thought that, Ara already recognized her upperclassman. Apparently not. But the two also felt happy, because that way, Ara could tell, even though it was only limited to the attributes that her upperclassmen wore, if one time, the two of them met again later.
Ara also thought the same thing, as her friend thought. But he didn't want to think about it. He just wanted to thank the person, if at all the opportunity to meet again.
And Ara hoped, if it won't be long. He felt indebted to his upperclassman, to thank him for the help he was given.
"Hopefully meet again, and I can thank him" murmured Ara, who sounded indistinct in the friend's ear.
"What Ra?" ask the friend, make sure his own hearing.
"It's okay. Come on home!"
Invite Ara by pulling her friend's hand, to get out of the classroom.
