The Divided Heart
Eagle, been home for a week. She was not well enough, so could not leave for the office and still rest at home for the next few days.
"Mas. Eat first yes, then take medicine," said Adhisti, reprimanding Eagle who was daydreaming on the front porch of the house.
Eagle, don't say. He was silent and did not move from where he was sitting. He continued to look towards the front, where the house Anjani once occupied with him as well.
"Mas" Adhisti reprimanded, touching the Eagle's shoulder.
"Eh, yes, dear. What's up?" asked the Eagle, surprised to realize from his daydream about Anjani.
"Mas miss that house?" tanya Adhisti.
"The house was deserted, and the plants were not preserved." The eagle, giving the reason that felt right, because since the departure of Anjani, the house so that no one occupies, as well as the usual plants in the care of Anjani. It grows wild and irregular.

The words of the Eagle, who was like an unconscious person, made Andhisti frown in confusion. She began to think, if her husband was no longer whole for her, emotionally. The eagle, unknowingly has had feelings for Anjani, his wife whose sir he has cherished.
"Mas. What the hell are you thinking? I'm sorry and want Anjani back?" andhisti asked, what her husband was thinking.
Eagle, let out a long breath. He had no idea what he was feeling right now. He also did not know, why his heart felt empty and not as passionate as usual.
"Mas stayed on the phone, and asked him to come back to live in the house. Mas can say, if the house is for him, and do not have to go back to Bogor. Or do you want her to go back to being Mas's wife?" Adhisti, asked a lot of questions, which made the Eagle finally turn his head towards him.
"Then, as a man, have I been fairly fair with you two? I feel like I can't be fair to her. You know, all this time, she never asked me for anything. From a small thing, to my duty as her husband materially and inwardly, she never asked for it. He never asked why either. He thinks I can't, because there's only you. I had been ignoring his presence all along. But when he's not here, I just realized that this heart also comes with him. It was no longer in its place. Am I wrong?"
Adhisti was shocked, hearing her husband's confession. All this time, he thought that Anjani always asked to be noticed by the Eagle. Ask for a lot of things, even though he doesn't know for himself, what they are. He felt very guilty, for having evil thoughts.
"Mas. Ii'm Sorry. I thought we'd be happy without Jani among us. But, looking at the condition of Mas Eagle's heart like this, I'm not sure if we'll be okay later."
"Later, I'll try to contact Jani, ask her to go back to Mas Eagle, or at least, she can occupy the house again, so that Mas can see her again and not feel worried."
The eagle was silent, hearing his wife's words.

In her office Elang, Amel's mother came along with Abhimanyu. He deliberately came, when there was no Eagle, because he was still sick and rested at home.
"Aunties. Is it okay, coming to this office without the knowledge of the Eagle?" abhimanyu asked, with a worried face. She was worried that there would be a clash between mother and child, due to misunderstandings under the current circumstances.
"It's okay. I didn't come here to ruffle his office and business. But I just want to save the business he started from below." Mama Amel, answering a question from Abhimanyu with a flat face. He knew there was fraud in his son's company's financial statements.
Abhimanyu, is an audit expert at several companies. But, he was not under the auspices of any company. He did so, personally because of a request from some parties who felt, if there was suspicion of a problem that occurred. A kind of private detective, but this does not mean tackling the problem of crime in general, because only for companies that require special handling.
Mama Amel, knew Abhimanyu, a few years ago, because her husband's company was threatened with bankruptcy. Papa Ryan, getting information from fellow entrepreneurs, to use the services of Abhimanyu to audit the financial statements of his company. That is why, mama Amel is no stranger to him, because now, he needs the services of Abhimanyu, for the case of his son's company, Eagle.
From Abhimanyu as well, he knew the difference between his two sons-in-law, Andhisti whom he had known for a long time, and Anjani whom he had just known, for being his son-in-law by accident. But, because of his affection for the Eagle, he did not want to tell the truth that had really happened. He wanted, Eagle to be aware and know for himself if there was any evidence he could show.
Mama Amel, invited Abhimanyu to the manager's room and also the accounting section. He also requested an HDR report. All he's been asking for is his report in the last year.
"I'm asking for help, put everything together as one. I will wait until this afternoon" said Amel's mother, giving instructions to all the heads of each section.
"But Madam, does Mr. Eagle know that the Madam is asking for all this? Sorry, it's not that we're breaking down, we're just following what's been the company's rules." HDR, trying to find an excuse, to reject a request from Amel's mom.
"I know that every company has its own rules. But, what am I doing here, to save the fate of all of you. Do you want to be unemployed if this company goes bankrupt and closes?" mama asked Amel, explaining the meaning of his arrival.
"If anyone does not want to do as I ask, please someday deal with the authorities" said Mama Amel, continuing his words.
He knew something was wrong in his son's company, from the beginning. But all this time, he had not had much evidence, so he had done nothing to explain the Eagle, his own son.
