The next day, Geof was getting ready to go to his office. He chose a tie neatly arranged in the closet drawer. Geof's view was fixed on a tie that Merta gave as a birthday gift at that time. Geof's mind recalls the night he and Merta enjoyed a long night in bed.

"Well, at that time I was so sure that Merta loved me too! That night she avenged everything I did to her. He also gave me his warm touch." Geof muttered back to what he had done with Merta on the eve of his birthday.

"It turns out she did it just because she was my woman." Geof muttered again.

Geof picked another tie. While the tie that Merta gave was neatly stored in the drawer of the closet. Geof keeps the only thing that becomes a memory between him and Merta.

Geof went to the office to work as usual. Geof sat in his study and soon entered an office girl who offered him hot coffee. Again Geof remembered Merta who had bitten his hand when they first quarreled in front of the company toilet.

"I remember him again! I miss him so much." Geof murmured in his heart with a feeling of longing for Merta.

Then Geof went to the meeting room after Amel the assistant told him his work schedule that day. Geof sat next to Luky who was the leader of the meeting there. The content of the meeting was about the position of CEO that would be given to Geof as the heir of his father's company. Everyone who attended the meeting agreed to the decision and they also did not forget to congratulate Geof who is now the leader of the company.

Luky saw the look on his son's face that was not happy at all. He saw Geof more silent and also pensive alone. If anyone invites him to talk then Geof will just start talking, after that he will be silent again and not so eager to respond to the chatter of people around him.

In the evening, Lutfi waited for Geof in front of the entrance of the apartment area. Lutfi would take Geof to Azlan's parents' house, which was holding a banquet for the business-bound relations.

Geof looked neat in that formal suit. Geof got into the car after Lutfi opened the car door for him. Lutfi immediately drove his car to go to Azlan's parents' residence.

Upon arrival there Geof was warmly welcomed by the friend. Shortly talking to Geof, Azlan was approached by a woman who was quite famous from a wealthy family. The woman looked very friendly and also polite in speaking. The woman's name is Nadya. She looks so beautiful and also graceful.

"Good night, Mr Azlan!" Greet Nadya with a polite tone.

"Welcome, Miss Nadya!" Azlan replied to him.

Because Geof was beside him, Azlan also introduced Nadya to Geof.

"Miss Nadya! This is my best friend, Geof! He's the CEO of an immortal jaya company." Azlan introduced Geof to Nadya.

"Hi, Mr Geof! It's good to meet you!" Sapa Nadya as she extended her hand to Geof.

Geof welcomed Nadya's wiggly hands with a casual impression. Geof also chose not to talk much there.

"You two talk! I'll greet the other guests." Azlan told Geof and Nadya.

Azlan leaves Geof and Nadya. Nadya looked at Geof's very handsome face in her eyes. Nadya tidied a little strand of hair that fell on her face.

"Why isn't he staring at me? Am I less beautiful?" Nadya murmured in her heart.

Geof kept silent and stared in all directions as he sipped the drink he was holding. At least Geof did not glance let alone look at Nadya who was in front of him. Nadya looked at Geof and began to speak so that an awkward atmosphere would not be too long approaching them.

"Mr Geof! It seems you're thinking something." Nadya said just to melt the atmosphere.

"Yes, you're right!" Sahut Geof brief.

"What are you thinking? What about work?" Ask Nadya again.

"No! I'm thinking of someone I'm missing right now." Sahut Geof's.

"Who? Are you missing your girlfriend?" Nadya asked curiously.

"She is not just a lover to me, but a woman who will live in my heart at all times. Maybe it's because of him that I'm not interested in looking at other women!" Geof said he intended to insinuate Nadya who had been staring at his face.

"I'll excuse you!" Geof continued as he walked away from Nadya just like that.

Nadya looked resentfully at Geof who was not interested in her at all.

"Damn! He was intentionally insinuating me earlier!" Nadya in his heart.

"Beautiful and how good is that woman, so that it can make Geof not interested in a beautiful woman like me? I'm getting curious!" He murmured again in his heart.

　

　

Still in the banquet room, Geof glanced at Chika who was sitting while eating a cake. Chika is Azlan's youngest sister. Geof approached him just to get entertainment from the 10-year-old little girl.

"Hi, Chika!" Sapa Geof sat beside him.

Chika snorted angrily staring at Geof who was sitting beside her.

"Don't eat too much sweet cake, you'll get fat!" Geof said he intends to disturb Chika.

"Be...really? Do I look fat?" Ask Chika to panic.

"of course! If you're fat I won't marry you." Geof said while holding back his laughter.

"Hey, who wants to marry an old man like you?" Chika shouted annoyed.

"Don't you hear that our parents have agreed to marry me to you! Hehe." Geof's voice is troubling Chika.

"Me and you will soon be husband and wife!" Connect Geof again with a cry.

"Dream it over there!" Shouted Chika again.

Chika continued to eat the cake while Geof laughed amusedly while looking at Chika.

"Chika, let's marry me!" Geof said he pulled Chika's hand.

"I don't want to! You Geof, you fool!" Chika shouted annoyed.

"Hahaha, Chika's running away!" Geof laughed out loud seeing Chika running away from him.

After Chika left, Geof again felt uncomfortable in the banquet hall. Geof decided to go to the front yard for a breath of fresh air. As he walked outside, he saw Azlan welcoming the arrival of Vian who was also invited to the banquet. Vian came with a beautiful woman who was not Merta at all.

"That's Vian! Why did she come to another woman? So how's Merta?" Geof murmured in his heart.

"Mr Vian! Meet Geof, my friend! He is the CEO in the company of immortal jaya!" Azlan said to Vian.

"I know him, Mr Azlan!" Vian Sahut.

"Oh, really? Where did you meet?" Ask Azlan.

"Him and I were neighbors when I lived in an apartment." Vian Sahut.

Geof just kept quiet and looked at Vian in annoyance. Geof is upset that Vian brought another woman instead of Merta.

"Geof, where's Merta? Didn't you take her with you?" Ask Vian.

"That should be what I'm asking you! Where's Merta? Why did you bring another woman here?" Tanya Geof growled.

"Hey, what do you mean? Merta is your lover, right? Then why are you asking me?" Vian was confused.

Vian looked at Geof's face suspiciously. Suddenly Vian attacked Geof and pulled his collar.

"Don't tell me you dumped him, Geof!" Shouted Vian annoyed.

"I let him go away leaving me because you and him have a relationship behind me!" Sahut Geof's.

"What do you mean?" Vian asked annoyed.

"You and Merta love each other right? I saw you two looking so friendly in the garden back then!" Geof said in a loud voice.

Via recalled his last meeting with Merta that day.

"Bas stupid, you! Me and Merta have no relationship whatsoever. Merta and I are friends. Yes, I used to love him, but after I found out that he loved you, Merta and I decided to be friends!" Vian explains his relationship with Merta.

"Geof, how could you let her go in the condition that she's pregnant with your baby!" Shouted Vian telling the truth.

"What?" Geof was shocked.

"It's with your baby, Geof!" Vian repeated his words.

Geof rushes out of Azlan's parents' house after he learns that Merta is pregnant with her baby. Geof's feelings were mixed at that moment. He did not know he had to feel happy because he would have a child from Merta or even sad because he had let Merta go from his apartment at that time.

Geof met Lutfi to drive him to Merta's hometown that night. Geof felt uneasy because he wanted to get to Merta's hometown immediately.

"Lutfi, hurry!" Geof's orders to his personal driver.

"Good boss!" Sahut Lutfi stepped on the gas pedal and drove his car at high speed.

At midnight, Geof arrived in front of Merta's house which looked very quiet. What was in Geof's mind at that time, the atmosphere was quiet at Merta's house because it was a time of rest as everyone wanted. Geof was impatient to meet Merta who was pregnant with her baby. Geof knocked on the door of Merta's house many times, but no one opened the door for him.

The feeling of anxiety returned to him at that moment. Geof keeps trying to knock on the door of Merta's house. Then suddenly there was someone who approached Geof.

"Sir, who are you looking for?" The middle-aged man asked Geof.

"I want to meet the owner of this house!" Sahut Geof's.

"Who do you mean?" Ask again.

"Pulse!" Sahut Geof's.

"The house was empty a few days ago! Looks like Maya and Merta left this village." Said the middle-aged man.

"Where did they go?" Ask Geof.

"Nobody in this village knows where they're going! Suddenly the house was empty and no one occupied it." The middle-aged man.

Geof lost direction. He didn't know what he could do to find Merta. A feeling of regret burst into his heart. Geof seemed annoyed at himself for letting Merta go from his life. Lutfi knew what his master was feeling.

"Boss, we can find Miss Merta! I'm sure we'll find him." Lutfi on Geof.

"Let's go back to town! I'll think of a way to find Merta later." Sahut Geof with a very angry face.

Along the way to the city, Geof just kept quiet and kept staring out the car window. Lutfi saw the face of the master from the rearview mirror looking sad and regretful. Lutfi also regretted having let Merta go alone that time.

"If only I insisted on escorting Miss Merta, maybe I would know where she is today." Lutfi murmured in her heart while driving a car.

　

In the morning, without a break Geof directed all his men to look for Merta's whereabouts. Without any fatigue Geof helped find the existence of Merta in every corner of the city and also the village not far from the city.

Geof was neither tired nor hungry in the least. With a shabby-looking face, Geof continued to search and search every place to find Merta's whereabouts. Lutfi was very sorry for Geof who looked very shabby back then. Lutfi brought a packet of bread and approached Geof who was sitting in the car.

"Boss, eat first! Since yesterday the boss hasn't eaten anything!" The word Lutfi offered a packet of bread to Geof.

"I'm not hungry! I just want to meet Merta!" Geof.

"Boss, but if you keep going like this you can get sick! How could you possibly look for the whereabouts of Miss Merta, under these circumstances, boss?" Lutfi.

"Nearly two days I've been looking for her! Everyone I've given up, but no one has been able to find her whereabouts!" Geof said frustrated.
