MUTUAL BENEFIT

Geof sat at the dinner table with a shirt that had not been buttoned and a tie in his hand. Geof looked at Merta who was still frantically thinking about the money for the medical expenses of her mother who was being treated in the hospital for the umpteenth time.

"Together, where's the food?" Shouted Geof who shocked Merta.

"Yes, it's ready soon!" Merta Sahut.

No wait long Merta comes up with a meal that will be breakfast for Geof. Merta put the food on the table. Geof kept looking at him to find a gap in order to launch his cunning intentions towards Merta.

"Si.please eat." Merta said to Geof.

Geof pulled Merta's body to sit on her lap. Merta just kept quiet and followed what her employer wanted.

"Buap me!" Geof Command.

Feeling that he was involved in a contract that was unable to fight him, Merta did as Geof instructed her. Geof was still staring at Merta as he continued to chew the food inside his mouth.

Finished eating Geof ordered Merta to button up her shirt and put a tie around her neck. Merta went back to doing what Geof told her to do.

"Sir, can I have permission to return to my village? Just two days!" Pinta Merta on Geof.

"Why are you coming home?" Geof asked pretending not to know.

"My mom went to the hospital, so I wanted to see my mom." Answer Merta.

"Go there!" Said Geof luring Merta to ask for help from him.

"Master, I want to go home but I don't have any money. Can I borrow money from you?" Ask Merta.

"You howmany? 10 million? 20 million? Or 50 million?" Geof asked thinning his smile.

"Do you really want to lend me that much money?" Tanya Merta was enthusiastic.

"Of course!" Sahut Geof is more happy because the bait is eaten by Merta.

"May I borrow 20 million for my mother's hospital expenses?" Ask Merta.

"Can! As long as you want to be my woman as long as you're under contract with me." Geof pulled Merta's body closer to him.

"Not so!" Said Merta while turning her face away from Geof.

"Yes already! You can't go anywhere." Said Geof releasing his embrace from Merta and passed away going to the office.

Merta still did not budge with Geof's decision not to allow her to return home. That day Merta felt unsettled and kept thinking to find a solution to the problem that was pressing her. Aunt Maya is back on her phone.

"Yes, auntie?" Merta.

"Mer, you better go back to the village first, because your mother misses you." Said aunt Maya.

He closed his eyes for a moment to think.

"Yes, auntie! I'll be home soon and bring some money for my mom's hospital expenses." Merta Sahut.

"All right." Sahut aunty Maya.

After talking on the phone with his aunt Maya, Merta contacts Geof in his office. It just so happened that Geof was sitting facing the window thinking of a way to tie Merta up to become her woman. Geof glanced at his phone ringing.

"Huh, you're finally giving up, Merta! Hehe." Geof smiled cunningly.

Geof immediately picked up a phone call from Merta.

"What's wrong? I'm so busy!" Geof said to Merta.

"Eeemmm, the, anu..

"Emm, that, anu! What was? Say it!" Shouted Geof.

"I want to be your woman!" Merta Sahut.

Geof widened his smile when he heard Merta agree to be his woman.

"Oh, really? Then I'll meet you now. Wait for me at the apartment!" Geof.

Geof returns to his apartment to meet Merta with a piece of paper as a contract to be signed by Merta.

Geof arrives at the apartment and sees Merta who has just finished her bath. Bawdy thoughts re-emerged in Geof's brain when he saw Merta's long hair that was still wet. Geof approached so that Merta was cornered on the wall.

"You're very fragrant, Merta." Geof sniffing Merta's hair.

"We better talk about our problems first, right?" Said Merta staring at Geof annoyed.

"Okay, alright!" Sahut Geof's.

Geof gave the paper to be signed by Merta.

"What's this?" Ask Merta.

"The contract that you were my woman for two years." Answer Geof.

"Hurry to sign the contract." Connect Geof again.

Merta carefully read the contents of the contract that will be signed. He did not want to be fooled again by Geof who always did cunning to his innocence.

"it's the same way I sold myself!" Merta muttered in her heart.

Merta saw the nominal money that will be the payment every month as much as 20 million per month.

"But I also need money for my mom and my aunt." He muttered again in confusion.

"Aarrgghhh, I'm so dizzy!" Shouted Merta who shocked Geof.

Merta signed a contract letter binding herself to Geof for the second time. Merta gave the paper and passed it to the kitchen to prepare lunch. Geof followed her to the kitchen and hugged her from behind.

"Hehehe, but I will prepare lunch for you." Sahut Merta intends to reject Geof's wishes.

"No need! I'll have lunch outside later with my business partner." Geof drags Merta's body into her room.

At exactly 11 p.m., Geof finished his bath and put on a new shirt that he picked up from inside the closet. He glanced at Merta who was still lying behind him. Geof intends to approach Merta again, but he undoes his intention to hear his phone ring. Geof spoke on the phone only briefly then he reflected on wearing a tie.

"Sir, I want to see my mother." Merta told Geof.

"Go!" Sahut Geof's.

Geof opened the vault and took 20 million to give to Merta who was still sitting on the side of the bed wrapped in a blanket. He also gave Merta a credit card so she could buy whatever she wanted.

"It's money and cards for you to shop! But remember I only gave you two days to meet your mother and you'll be escorted by my personal driver there." Said Geof in a flat tone.

"Huh, too much!" Merta muttered.

"Would you like to go home, what not?" Shouted Geof.

"Yes!" Reply Merta yelled at Geof.

Merta came out of Geof's room with a blanket still wrapped around her body. Geof was very upset to see the attitude of Merta who always dared to fight him.

That afternoon Merta returned to her hometown by being delivered by a driver who was ordered by Geof. Merta arrived at the hospital where her mother was treated with money to pay for all hospital administration. Aunt Maya misses her nephew so much. Maya and Merta hugged each other and cried there.

"Thus, you better be honest with auntie, where did you get that kind of money? You're just an office girl, aren't you in town?" Ask aunt Maya.

"Eeemm, that's auntie, I have a part-time job in town and the pay is pretty big too! But if this 18 million I get for borrowing with my coworkers and I collect it all." Merta answered lying to the aunt who loved her very much.

"Well, you better see your mother soon. He's missed you so much." Said aunt Maya.

Merta went into the ward and saw her mother who was asleep with a hanging infusion tube and a breathing tube on her nose.

"Mother." Merta said in tears.

Mom woke up and saw Merta sitting next to her.

"Pardon the mother who can only trouble you." Said Mom crying.

"Mother, don't talk like that! This has become my duty as a mother's child. I have worked hard to raise myself alone. What I do is not worth what you do for me." Merta.

"Son, stay here with mom." Said Mother.

"Can't, mom! I have to make some money so I can support mom and Aunt Maya." Merta Sahut.

Merta kissed her mother who was still lying limp in the hospital bed. His heart ached as he lied to his mother about the work he was doing in the city.

"Mom forgive me! I lied to you so you wouldn't worry about me anymore." Merta muttered in her heart.

Outside the room, Maya sees a man coming with Merta. Maya is very curious about the man who is none other than the driver who was assigned by Geof.

"Sorry, who is this guy? Why did you come with my nephew?" Ask Maya to the driver.

"I am the personal driver of Mr. Geof." Answer the driver.

"Who is Mr Geof?" Maya asked confusedly.

"He is the master of Miss Merta." Answer driver.

"Miss Merta? Whatdoes thatmean? Why did he call Merta Miss?" Maya was confused.

Merta soon came out of her mother's nursery after her mother fell asleep. Maya approached and whispered to him.

"Mer, what does that guy mean? Why did he call you miss?" Maya asks who surprised Merta.

"Hehehe, it means like a aunt. I was part-time waitresses at one of the rich cafes in town and the lady's call was specifically for the employees who worked at the cafe." Merta said back to lie to her tant.

"Who is Mr Geof?" Ask Maya.

"Master Geof is the owner of the cafe!" Answer Merta.

Because Maya is a village person who has never condemned education in school, can only believe in the words of Merta.

Merta invites Geof's private driver to talk to her outside the hospital so Maya doesn't know her secret.

"Sir, do you want to help me?" Ask Merta to the driver.

"Whatever you want, miss!" That driver.

"Sir, don't call me miss, just call me Merta." Merta.

"Can't miss! Miss is her lover Mr. Geof and Mr. Geof has ordered me to respect and do whatever the lady wants." That driver.

"Let's mean! I'm with my family, and I don't want my family to know about my relationship with Geof! Can you help me?" Ask Merta again.

"All right, miss." Driver's sahut.

"Don't call miss, just call my name, okay?" Merta.

"Good." Driver's sahut.

Merta heaved a sigh of relief after talking to the driver in order to cooperate with him. Merta returns to meet Maya who is sitting next to her mother. Merta pulled Maya's hand out of her mother's nursery.

Merta gave the Maya 5 million dollars for their needs as long as he was not in the village.

"Tante, here's five million to buy your needs and yours." Merta.

"It's too much." Maya says.

"Where did you get this much money?" Ask Maya.

"I borrowed it from Geof's boss!" Answer Merta.

"Your boss is very good." Maya says plain.

"But if this is what you give me, what about you? Are you still holding money?" Ask Maya.

"There! Aunt just relax don't think about me." Merta Sahut.

Merta clasped Maya's hand tightly.

"Aunty, thank you for taking care of my mother during my time working in the city! Because it's not married until the age of aunty who has been 45 years." Merta said she shed her tears.

"Hey, I didn't get married not because I took care of your mother, but I didn't do it!" Maya.

"What aunt?' Tanya Merta confusedly looked at the aunt.

"What is my day, if all the men in this village are not interested in me because I judge!" Sahut Maya who does have a temperate attitude to all men.

Merta just smiled to hear the words of the aunt. Not long after that Merta's phone rang. He saw Geof's name on his phone screen. Merta hurriedly moves away from Maya to receive a phone call from Geof.

"Hello?" Merta.

"When are you going home?" Tanya Geof does not feel alone in the apartment.

"The day after!" Answer Merta.

"Why is it so long?" Shouted Geof annoyed.

"You said two days, right? It means the day after." Merta Sahut.

"Have your mother improved?" Ask Geof.

Merta was silent when Geof asked her mother.

"Why is he so attentive like this? Was he eating wrong last lunch?" Merta was confused.

"Hey, why are you quiet?" Shouted Geof again.

"My mother is still in treatment, but she's improved a little." Merta Sahut.

"Hurry back! No one takes care of my apartment if you linger there." Geof.

"Yes. The day after tomorrow I'll be back." Merta Sahut.

Geof just turned off his phone without any warning to Merta. Merta could only snort angrily addressing the Geof who was very haughty to her.
