Merta returned to the apartment with Vian while chatting. After waving, Merta and Vian entered their apartments. Merta went inside and saw there were Geof shoes on the shoe rack. Merta smiled happily because she knew Geof had returned from Italy. Merta also searched for the existence of Geof in the apartment.

Merta searched all the rooms and found Geof sitting in his study. Merta smiled and was about to approach Geof.

"Geof, when are you back?" Tanya Merta stepped closer to Geof.

Merta's steps stopped right in front of Geof's desk, when Geof threw an envelope containing money and also a piece of paper on the table.

"What's that?" Tanya Merta was confused.

"That's the file you're signing!" Sahut Geof with a cold tone.

"For what?" Ask Merta again.

"Three more days your contract will be up soon! But I assume your contract is done now. So you can sign it to make it clear that you're not under any contract with me anymore!" Geof said that made Merta's heart break.

"In that envelope there's a little money for you! Let's just say I gave you a bonus after what you did to me." Connect Geof again.

Merta tried to raise her heart and smile in front of Geof.

"All right! I'll sign it." Said Merta immediately signing the piece of paper that was on the table.

"Geof, I'm not going to take that money! I think the money you've been giving me is enough for me to move on." Merta said while turning her body to immediately get out of Geof's work room.

Geof did not even want to look at Merta who was moving out of the room. After the door closed again, Geof let out a heavy sigh and subconsciously looked at the corner of his eyes there was a tear of sadness there. Geof couldn't bear the pain when he had to do that to the woman he loved.

"I had to do it, Merta! Maybe you should live happily with Vian. Maybe you love her more." Geof murmured in his heart.

Geof misunderstood when he saw Merta and Vian talking in the park. He thought that Merta and Vian loved each other. Geof tried to give up just for the sake of Merta's happiness. Geof thought Merta would do anything and be friendly to him just for being involved in a contract with him.

In the room, Merta just kept quiet and cleaned up the clothes she brought when she first went to Geof's apartment. The goods and clothes he bought with Geof's money, none of which he took. Merta also placed the credit card Geof gave her on top of the small closet.

Merta left without saying goodbye to Geof. Merta just came out of the apartment. In the apartment area Merta met with Lutfi.

"Miss, where are you going? Why don't you call me?" Ask Lutfi.

"You're not my driver anymore, so don't call me that." Merta Sahut.

"But where are you going, miss? Let me drive you!" Lutfi.

"No need! I'm going back to my village." Merta Sahut.

"Oh, yes! Thank you Lutfi, you've always been kind to me." Merta said before she left the big city.

Lutfi looked at Merta leaving with such a heavy step. Lutfi thought that Geof and Merta were fighting. As a worker he also can not do anything for the problems that are being faced by the employer and his lover.

Merta sat at the bus terminal to return to her hometown. There was not a single tear that flowed from his eyes. Merta tried to hold everything she was going through.

The bus horn sounded so loud that Merta's daydream was caved in. Merta got into the bus and left the big city.

In his apartment, Geof goes into the room intending to keep the ring he bought in Italy. He opened a drawer in a small closet next to his bed. Geof saw the credit card he had given to Merta. Geof took the credit card and kept it and the ring box in the drawer of the small closet.

In the room Geof also saw the closet door that was not tightly closed. He stepped closer to the closet and saw all the clothes, jewelry and bags and shoes owned by Merta neatly arranged there. Geof limp to see Merta's belongings that none of Merta took. Geof opened the closet door, the other one looks empty jumping. Geof knew that the closet space where Merta store her old clothes.

"He's really gone!" Geof muttered sadly.

Geof sat on a small stool and stared at all the clothes and belongings of Merta left behind in the closet. The feeling of destruction mixed with sadness felt in Geof's heart and mind. How could he not feel that, because only Merta is the only woman who makes the feeling of love in Geof's heart grow back. But what is the power of misunderstanding that makes Geof and Merta must be separated.

Merta has arrived in her hometown. Merta walked with a bag containing her old clothes. Maya smiles broadly at the sight of her nephew finally returning to her hometown. Maya welcomes Merta with joy.

"You're back!" Say hello to Maya in Merta.

"Yes, Auntie! I kept my promise to stay with you." Merta Sahut.

"Let's go in! It's almost dark." The word Maya invites Merta to enter the house relics of both parents Merta.

In the evening Merta sees Maya busy in the kitchen preparing dinner. Merta sat on the table bench smelling the aroma of cooking that felt like shaking her stomach. "You why? Are you sick?" Ask Maya.

"No aunt! I'm it's okay. Maybe I'll catch a cold." Merta said a lie.

Maya takes the warm water and gives it to Merta who just came out of the bathroom.

"Here drink this warm water to make you feel better." Maya said to Merta.

Merta also drank a mouthful of warm water.

"Tante, I'm taking a break! I'm so tired. " Said Merta.

"What about dinner? Don't you want to eat?" Ask Maya.

"No! I don't taste." Merta Sahut.

"All right! You go to bed and rest." Maya said again.

Merta went into her room. He sat on his simple bed with a very chaotic feeling.

"What should I do with this baby? I can't possibly keep something this big from Aunt Maya! Someday it will be discovered." Merta muttered in her heart.

"Geof doesn't know I'm pregnant with the baby! I didn't get to tell him anything after I signed the paper!" Merta muttered again.

Merta could not resist what she felt at that time. Merta cried alone in her room as she recalled two years of sweet memories with Geof. In this case Merta did not blame Geof at all. Merta felt that what Geof did was right because from the beginning Merta was only a woman who was contracted by Geof for two years and after the contract expired then this separation would occur.

"I was wrong to fall in love with her! Obviously I'm just a woman contracted by him!" Merta said in her sobs.

It rained heavily that night. The sky seemed to be saddened by what was felt by Geof and Merta. In the apartment Geof just fell silent and remembered everything he had with Merta and so did Merta who could only cry to feel the pain in her heart.

　

　

The next morning, Merta woke up feeling nauseous in her stomach. Merta ran out of the room and headed to the bathroom. Maya who was in the kitchen to prepare breakfast looked suspiciously at Merta who was constantly nauseous and vomiting.

After Merta came out of the bath, Maya approached her with a very serious face.

"Whose child are you carrying?" Maya asked as she stared intently at Merta.

Merta was surprised and also could not say anything. He could only bow his face before Maya.

"Take care of me, Merta!" Jerky Maya.

"Geof!" Merta's words wept while crying.

"Did he know?" Ask Maya again.

Merta shook her head.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Ask Maya.

"He doesn't love me, auntie! He certainly wouldn't want this kid." Merta Sahut.

Maya sits limp when she learns that Merta is pregnant with no marriage ties to anyone.

"Tante, I'm sorry!" Said Merta kneeling before Maya while crying.

"What are you doing, Merta? Why did you become like this?" Maya was very disappointed and sad.

"I'm wrong, auntie! I'm sorry." Say Merta again.

Merta told Maya everything. He tells from the beginning since the first meeting with Geof and Merta also gives a reason why he decided to become Geof's woman. Maya weeps at all the words of Merta who did just that to bear all the burdens of the family. Maya could not bear to see her nephew crying as he knelt before her. Maya hugs Merta with the affection she has for her niece.

"Have Merta, don't cry anymore!" Maya hugged Merta tightly.

"We have to get out of this village, Merta!" Maya says.

"But where are we going, auntie?" Ask Merta.

"Who do we live in there?" Ask Merta again.

"My mother and I have a cousin who lives there. He only works as a fisherman." Maya Sahut.

"We can stay and you can also give birth to your baby there! We're gonna start a new life there." Maya said again.

Merta also strengthened her heart to leave her hometown to give birth to a baby who was in her stomach. She also intends to forget everything that has happened and decides to live raising her baby alone. For several days after Merta's departure from the apartment, Geof was unable to sleep. His face looked tired and pale as well. Geof is like a man who can't take care of himself. Luky knew the condition of his son from Lutfi who could not bear to see the condition of his master. Luky tries to get Geof back to live with him, but Geof always refuses. Geof prefers to live alone in that apartment.

Geof stared at his dinner which he ordered from outside. Geof sat at the dining table and stared at the chair that Merta was sitting on while eating with her. Geof remembered the face of Merta who was sometimes upset when talking to her while eating together.

"What is he doing now? Has he eaten?" Geof muttered to Merta.

"Maybe Merta is happy with Vian!" Geof muttered again.

Geof thinks that Merta is now living happily with Vian. Coincidentally before Merta left Geof's apartment, Vian also moved out of the apartment. Geof felt that what he thought about Merta and Vian's relationship was correct. Geof seemed to have no appetite for food that he ordered because his mind was constantly being imagined by Merta. Shortly after, Geof heard his phone ring. He received a call from his father.

"Yes, pa!" Geof.

"I just want to remind you that tomorrow night Abrar will make a banquet at his house. He invited us to attend." Said Luky.

"Yes, I'll come!" Sahut Geof's.

"Geof, are you okay?" Ask Luky worriedly.

"Yes, I'm fine!" Sahut Geof's.

"Yes already! Don't forget to come to the banquet." Said Luky again.

"Yes, pa!" Sahut Geof's.

After hanging up his phone, Geof threw away the food that had not been touched by him at all. Geof stepped upstairs and lay on his bed. Again he remembered Merta who often slept behind him. Geof turned to the side of the bed that looked empty.
