Merta was more and more appetizing when she remembered Geof who she thought was alone in the apartment. He did not know that Geof planned to stay at his parents' residence as long as Merta had not returned to the apartment. While thinking of Geof who was in the city, Merta's mind was dissolved when Maya patted him on the shoulder.

"Did you miss him?" Ask Maya.

"Thank you who?" Back to asking.

"Geof!" Maya Sahut.

"Ti..no! I don't miss him. For what I miss him for, me and him have no feelings other than a working relationship." Merta replied a little nervously.

"Hey, I'm a country man, but I can see that you and your boss have more of a relationship." Maya says.

"Where does Auntie know?" Tanya Merta was getting nervous.

"Geof is more than good to you! If he doesn't like you, he might want to do everything like yesterday. He took your mother to the city hospital and financed everything." Maya says.

"That's just Auntie's feeling! She can't possibly like me, Auntie!" Said Merta again.

"Huh, it's up to you!" Maya is upset.

"Mer, are you sure you're not harboring feelings for your boss?" Ask Maya again to know the feelings of her nephew.

"I.iya, I don't have any feelings for her. Me and him are just a working relationship." Merta's law is a lie.

Maya looked at Merta who answered her question without wanting to return her eyes.

"Well, he won't admit it! I'm sure you and Geof would have liked each other, but you two just tried to deny your feelings." Maya murmured in her heart.

　

Merta and Maya were still sitting at the dining table with the simple food they cooked. Merta glanced at Maya who also had no appetite at that time.

"Tante, why don't you eat?" Ask Merta.

"I miss my brother!" Sahut Maya misses her mother Merta who just died.

Merta was sad to remember her late mother.

"Me too!" Merta said sadly.

"If only he were alive, maybe this house wouldn't be too quiet." Maya says.

"In a few days, you'll be back in town for work. I'll be lonely in this house!" Maya said again.

"Tante, I promise to come back and stay with you. I'll be back in a few months. I have to finish my contract with Geof's boss!" Merta said while holding Maya's hand.

"What do you mean the contract at the Geof's cafe in town?" Ask Maya.

"I.yeah, Auntie! I have a contract at his cafe and 4 months of my contract expires, so I have to finish it, after that I will come back here and stay with you." Merta still doesn't want Maya to know the truth.

"Yes, okay!" Maya believed in her nephew's words.

Almost a week long Geof was waiting for news from Merta who was in the village. Geof repeatedly stared at the screen of his phone to contact Merta. But it was repeatedly undone because he was afraid to disturb the condition of Merta who was still mourning because his mother had just died. Geof placed his phone again on his desk, sighing heavily. She greatly missed Merta's presence by her side.

"Is he still sad? He didn't even tell me!" Geof murmured in his heart.

Geof looked pensive in his study. Boy best friend came and saw Geof who was still pensive while staring at the glass window. Boy walks in and breaks the table to surprise Geof.

Bbbrraa.......

Geof was startled and turned to Boy who was chuckling before him.

"Huh, shit! Just surprise me, me." Geof was upset with Boy.

"Hehehe, what are you thinking? Are you thinking about that woman?" Ask Boy while he grinned.

"Which woman do you mean?" Geof asked back.

"Your pretty servant!" Sahut Boy's.

"No! What am I doing him for? Weird." Geof said a lie.

"What are you doing here?" Ask Geof on Boy.

"Did you forget? We'll meet with Azlan in his office to discuss our business affairs." Said Boy.

"Oh, yes! Let's go." Said Geof rushing to go with Boy.

Shortly after, Boy and Geof arrive at Azlan's corporate parking area. While Azlan was in his study, Boy and Geof approached him to discuss a business problem they were running together.

After finishing discussing his business problems, Azlan and Boy mocked Geof all-out because he was still single.

"I haven't found a suitable woman to be my life partner!" Answer Geof.

"Hey, that waitress is right for you." Sahut Boy's.

"He has a name! Her name is Merta." Geof sewot said to Boy.

"But he's your servant, right?" Ask Azlan again.

"Yes, he's been my servant for only 2 years! The contract is running out soon." Answer Geof.

"Then?" Taanya Boy's.

"Then he doesn't work with me anymore." Answer Geof brief.

"Is that all you have to do with him?" Ask Azlan.

"Hey, what do you mean?" Ask Geof to Azlan.

"Acquire of your feelings! Don't let you regret it after he's gone far." Azlan.

Geof was silent and refused to reply to the words of his friends.

Azlan and Boy know Geof's character is a little stubborn to confess his feelings for Merta. They know that his best friend is sad when Merta's work contract will be completed in a few months.

　

At night Geof was still in his office. There was still work to be done that night. Geof stared at his laptop screen and before long he glanced at the office boy who brought him coffee. Geof looked at the office boy and remembered Merta who had worked as an office girl in his father's company. Again Geof sighed as Merta's face was playing around in his mind.

"Tonight I'll just go back to the apartment! Because tomorrow's holiday, then I'll clean my apartment that hasn't been cleaned for a week." Geof murmured in his heart.

After he finished his work, Geof ordered Lutfi to drive him back to the apartment. Arriving there, Geof got into the elevator and went up to the floor where his apartment. Geof stepped to his apartment doorstep and pressed a few digits as a password. Geof opened the apartment door with a state of lights that did not turn on. The atmosphere of the apartment room was quiet and dark. Geof turned on his lights and was surprised to see all the rooms looking clean.

"Why does it look so clean? Is Merta back?" Geof murmured in his heart.

Geof ran up the stairs and into the room. On the bed he saw the figure of the woman he longed for was sound asleep wrapped in a blanket. Geof widened his smile when he saw Merta had returned to his apartment.

"He's back!" He was happy in his heart.

Geof decided to go to the bathroom to clean himself before going to bed. After finishing the bath, Geof climbed onto the bed and lay sideways to face Merta who was sleeping behind him. Geof felt a great longing for Merta. He held Merta from behind. The warm Geof breath steam was felt by Merta and made her wake up. Merta turned her body to face Geof.

"You're back?" Merta said to Geof.

"Yes!" Sahut Geof's.

"Have you had dinner?" Ask Merta.

"It's over!" Answer Geof.

"Are you tired of cleaning all the rooms?" Ask Geof.

"Yes, there's too much dust so I clean it up." Merta said in a state of closed eyes.

"Sleep!" Geof.

Merta sunk her face into Geof's chest.

"Funny!" Merta muttered in her heart at that moment.

Geof further tightened his warm hold on Merta's body.

"Shortening it like this really makes me feel comfortable." Geof murmured in his heart.

That night Geof and Merta fell asleep because of the comfortable feeling they felt as they held each other warm.

The next morning, Merta awakens and sees Geof still asleep. Merta looked at Geof's face carefully. He really likes the face of Geof plain when sleeping. Merta also stroked Geof's face gently. Then suddenly his hand was caught by Geof who woke up and looked at him. Merta was shocked as well as embarrassed by the extremely red face.

"Tell me, my face is very handsome, isn't it, hehehe." Geof said while looking at Merta.

"You.., you're too smart!" Merta sewot.

"Boiled curls! Your face is red." Geof said seductively to Merta.

Geof looked at Merta's lips that were very close to her. Without warning Geof immediately landed his kiss immediately on Merta's lips. Merta widened her eyes because Geof kissed her all of a sudden. But I don't know what made Merta return Geof's kiss that morning. Then suddenly Merta pushed Geof's body firmly.

"Geof, don't do that again! You promised me, right?" Said Merta staring at Geof.

Geof couldn't say anything at the time. He only returned Merta's sad eyes. Before long looking at each other, Merta woke up and went to go into the bathroom to avoid the geof. Geof sighed and looked a little annoyed in him. Geof lay back on his bed.

Merta stood in front of the mirror and tried to dismiss her feelings towards Geof.

"I'm sure, Geof must be just as lustful as ever! She couldn't possibly have any feelings for me like what Aunt Maya said back then. I also had to shake off all my feelings towards Geof before I fell deeper. He and I cannot be together! I'm just a country girl, while Geof is a rich man who has an important status in this city." Merta muttered in her heart.

Merta dismissed all her feelings because she did not want to feel heartbreak if Geof did not have any feelings for her. Not wanting to get stuck with his mind, Merta decided to take a shower and prepare breakfast in the kitchen.
