Merta and Geof were still lying on their sleeping beds. Geof glanced at Merta who was lying on her back. I don't know what made her hand caress that long stray strand of Merta's hair. Geof felt a strange, turbulent thing in his heart as he stroked Merta's hair. Geof retracted his hand as Merta suddenly turned to face him.

"Geof, I want to go home to my village! My mother is sick and still critical." Merta asked Geof for permission.

"Go!" Sahut Geof's.

Merta was confused because Geof was so easy to give her permission. Merta got up and went into the bathroom to clean herself up. The geof is still lying facing the ceiling of the room. Soon he got up and put his pants back on. He sat on the edge of the bed bare-chested to wait for Merta to finish from the bathroom. Geof appears to be contacting Lutfi as Merta's personal driver.

"Take him to his village! But don't forget to keep an eye on what's going on in there. If there is a problem that makes Merta sad, quickly tell me!" Geof's orders to Lutfi through his cell phone.

"Good, master!" Sahut Lutfi has a dual role in his duties.

Shortly after, Merta came out of the bathroom in full clothes. He already looks fresher with casual clothes that are long jeans and also his shirt. Geof still glanced at Merta who was busy putting in her necessary items to return home.

"Geof, I'm going first." Merta said to the man who was involved in the contract to her.

"Wait a minute!" Said Geof holding Merta.

Geof got up and stepped towards his vault. Geof took a wad of money he was going to give Merta.

"Take this money for your mother's hospital expenses." Said Geof giving her a wad of money.

"No need! My savings are enough to pay for my mother's treatment." Merta refused.

"Take this and leave before I change my mind not to let you go." Geof.

Inevitably Merta took the money and returned home to take care of her sick mother. Merta went delivered by Lutfi. Inside his room, Geof sat back down while sighing heavily. He seemed unwilling if Merta was far away from him. But what can he do to the woman who became a friend in his bed. He also could not bear to hold Merta who would look after her mother who was sick in the hospital.

The apartment that seemed quiet without Merta there made Geof want to go to bed immediately after he finished bathing. As he fell asleep, his phone rang. Geof opened his eyes lazily. He sees a call from one of his men to destroy Eva.

"Boss, mission complete! The gambling establishment has been raided by the police and Eva has been arrested by police for her alleged covert prostitution." Said his man.

"What about the owner of the gambling establishment? Was he caught?" Ask Geof.

"As we wish, boss! The owner of the gambling establishment fled before the police arrived." Sahut his man.

"Good! That way our plan will be smoother." Said Geof smiling wickedly.

"Arrange for people to slander Eva on the owner of that gambling establishment!" Geof Command.

"Ready, boss!" Legally.

After hanging up the phone, Geof again smiled wickedly while clasping his phone tightly.

"You wouldn't have survived if your boss thought you were the one who leaked the secrets of the gambling establishment, Eva! Hehe. That's the price of dying because you dare to play with my woman." Geof muttered so enragedly to Eva.

Merta arrives at the hospital and meets Maya who is waiting for her mother at the hospital. Merta looks very worried about her mother's condition.

"How's mom's condition? Is it critical?" Ask Maya.

"The doctor said his condition was no longer critical, but he was still unconscious." Answer Maya.

"Is your business in the city done?" Maya asked her niece.

"Already, aunt." Merta Sahut.

Merta stood in front of the glass wall and saw her mother who had a hose attached to her nose as well as her hands. Merta's tears just flowed. He felt very guilty for what happened to his mother at that time.

"Mother sorry! If I hadn't been Geof's woman, maybe I wouldn't have been this." Merta muttered in her heart.

Merta entered the room where her mother was treated with special clothes to enter the ICU room. Merta sat next to her mother holding her hand. She continued to cry beside her mother.

"Mom forgive me!" Merta said crying with sadness.

At that moment Merta felt that her mother's hand was moving. Merta was startled and looked at her mother's pale face. Merta saw her mother's eyes move as if they were about to open.

"Mother!" Merta tried to make her mother aware.

I walked out of the ICU to call the doctor. The doctor immediately entered and examined the condition of Merta's mother who had just regained consciousness. The doctor told Merta that her mother's health condition was still weak. The doctor came out of the room after he had done his job.

Merta sat down next to her mother. Merta was about to hold her mother's hand. But suddenly his mother brushed off Merta's hand.

"Mother, why? What's up?" Ask Merta to her mother.

"You're not my son anymore!" Speak with a weak tone.

She was shocked by what her mother had just told her. Merta could not believe the words coming out of her mother's mouth.

"Mother, don't say that! I'm so sad." Said Merta with a face that was wet from her tears.

"Go with the man who has impregnated you." Said mother again made Merta surprised.

"Pregnant? I'm not pregnant, Mom!" Merta.

Mother turned her face away from Merta. Merta could not bear the pain in her heart. He came out of the ICU with a cry that he could no longer detain. Merta sat on the bench of the hospital garden while crying. Lutfi watched over Merta from a place not so far away. He saw Merta crying there. Shortly thereafter Maya comes to Merta who is crying.

"Merta, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Is your mother's condition worsening again?" Ask Maya to panic.

"Tante, do you know what Eva said when she met Mom?" Ask Merta.

"I don't know! Because I was at the market." Answer Maya.

"Why are you asking like that?" Ask Maya.

"Mom thought I was pregnant with a man in town. Mom kicked me out and told me I wasn't her son anymore." Merta was crying again.

"Are you really pregnant?" Ask Maya.

"I'm not pregnant, auntie! Eva is slandering me." Merta replied annoyed.

"Huh, thank goodness!" Maya said sighing in relief.

Lutfi retreated regularly after he heard the problems Merta was facing. He glanced at the watch which showed it was already midnight. He thought it impossible to contact his employer in the middle of the night to report what was happening to Merta. Lutfi abandoned his intention and intended to contact Geof the next morning.

The next morning, Geof woke up from his sleep when he heard the ringtone of his cell phone. He grabbed his phone without opening his eyes.

"Hello! Who'sis this?" Geof asked as he picked up his phone.

"Sir, it's Lutfi! There's important information for you about Miss Merta." Lutfi.

"Tell me what happened to her?" Ask Geof.

"Sir, Eva slandered Miss Merta and told her mother that Miss Merta was pregnant." Lutfi.

"What?" Geof immediately opened his eyes wide.

Lutfi told me everything that happened to Merta that night. He recounted the condition of Merta who cried all night in the hospital. Even Lutfi also told that Merta was hated by her mother because of the slander told by Eva against Merta.

Geof hung up the phone in annoyance. He was very angry because Merta was sad because of Eva's actions. Geof got up from his bed and immediately went to the bathroom. After he finished his bath, Geof glanced at the cell phone that kept ringing. It was a phone call from Luky.

"What's up, papa? I'm busy." Said Geof picking up the phone from Luky.

"What are you busy doing in the morning? Get to the office! There's an important meeting today." Said Luky.

"Papa, I have more important business today! I don't want to go to the office." Sahut Geof hung up.

Luky, who was still at home, shouted annoyed because of the actions of his son. Luky was curious as to what Geof would do that morning. He contacted Lutfi who worked as a personal driver of Merta. Luky chuckles after learning what caused his son to refuse to go to the office.

"Hehehe, he's crazy about Merta! I'll have a grandchild soon." Luky muttered in his old age that he was playing with his grandchildren.

"Basic crazy!" Lita said seeing Luky smiling alone.

Geof arrives at Merta's hometown with the address Lutfi gave him. Merta was very surprised to see Geof coming to the hospital. Merta pulled Geof's hand away from her mother's ward.

"Why are you here? My family will know about our relationship later." Merta said in panic.

"I'm here to solve your problem. Move there! You're blocking my way." Sahut Geof with his arrogance.

Geof again walked closer to his mother's ward Merta. Merta chased after him with a very panicked feeling. At that time Maya approached Merta who looked very panicked.

"Together, what's wrong?" Ask Maya.

Geof again approached Merta who stood stiffly with Maya.

"Hey, where's your mom's room?" Ask Geof to Merta.

Merta was silent a thousand languages and could not dwell in the presence of Maya.

"Thus, who is he?" Maya asks while looking at Geof.

Merta was still silent and lowered her face in fear.

Merta became a sewot when Maya praised Geof's good looks at the time. Merta repeatedly realized Maya who was sedated by Geof's good looks.

"Where's your mother's room?" Geof asked impatiently.

"Do you want what?" Tanya Merta panicked again.

"Huh, a lot of questions! Just tell me, where's your mother's room, Merta!" Geof said he held back.

"I won't tell you!" Merta sewot.

"Huh, my goodness! I'd love to strangle my neck, Merta!" Said Geof enduring his regret many times.

Maya is confused while staring at Merta and Geof in turn. Maya sees a fight scene between Merta and Geof there. Maya thinks that Geof is really the boss at Merta's place of work. Maya is upset when Merta dares glare at Geof.

Maya blackened Merta's head violently. Geof was shocked to see Maya pinning Merta's head before him. Geof drew his smile line.

"Why did aunty snap at my head?" Said Merta while rubbing her head.

"How dare you be disrespectful to this boss of yours! Did you forget that he helped you back then? You owe him too, right?" Maya said annoyed at her nephew.

"Huh, Aunt Maya sucks!" Merta muttered in her stead.

Maya escorts Geof to meet with the mother who has been transferred to an ordinary nursing room. Geof entered and saw the condition of Merta's mother who was still lying weak. Geof stood beside mom and smiled kindly at her.

"Who are you, sir?" Ask Geof.

"I'm the boss at Merta's place of work." Answer Geof while sitting on the chair given by Maya.

Merta entered the room and stood some distance away from her mother. Geof saw mom turn her face when Merta walked in. Merta bowed sadly as her mother turned her face away from her.

"Mom, I'm here to see you at once to straighten out something about Merta." Geof.

Merta's heart skipped a beat as Geof spoke to his mother.

"What's wrong?" Ask mother.

"Did Eva come see you? Did she say that Merta was pregnant?" Ask Geof.

"Yes. I am so ashamed of what he did. She is pregnant with a married man and has children!" Mom's heart is crying.

"That's not true! Merta wasn't pregnant." Geof.

"But the photo shows Merta coming out of the obstetrician's room at the city hospital." Said mother.

"At that time I told Merta to take my pregnant friend to do an examination. All just misunderstood and Eva has slandered Merta." Geof had to lie to his mother.

"Is that true? So Merta's not pregnant?" Ask mom again.

"Yes, right!" Sahut Geof's.

"Oh, thank goodness!" Say Mother.

"But why would Eva do that? Merta and Eva are good friends." Maya says.

"Eva and I aren't friends anymore, aunt. He's always jealous of what I get." Merta Sahut.

"Oh, so! I didn't think Eva had a bad character." Maya says.

Mother glanced at Merta who was standing far away from her. Mother called Merta to come closer to her. Merta ran small and immediately hugged her mother while crying.

"I'm sorry, son! I believe too much in other people's words than my own." Said the crying mother hugging Merta.

"No mom! I'm the one who should apologize to you, because of my problems with Eva, I'm sick like this." Merta Sahut.

"Mom's condition worsens not because of your fault, but indeed the mother's disease that has eaten away the mother's body." Said mother.

"Mom needs to heal! I love my mother." Merta.

Mother looked at Geof who was still sitting next to the hospital bed. Mother clasped Geof's hand expectantly.

"Sir, please take care of Merta while she's in town. I'm afraid he's affected by the bad things in town." Pinta's mom on Geof.

"All right! I promise I'll look after Merta as long as she's in town. I don't have to worry." Sahut Geof glanced at Merta who was standing in front of him.

After meeting Merta's mother inside the hospital room, Geof and Merta spoke on the hospital's park bench. Merta let out a sigh of relief after things got better.  Geof exhaled the cigarette smoke he was smoking at the time.

"Thank you Geof! You saved the relationship between me and my mom." Merta.

"It's not free, Merta!" Geof Brisks.

"What do you want?" Tanya Merta resigned.

"Hehehe, how resigned you are!" Geof.

"What can I do? You're a forced man!" Merta.

"I'm going on a business trip next month!" Geof.

"Where?" Ask Merta.

"Later you'll know too!" Answer Geof.

"I didn't promise!" Merta Sahut.

"No objection!" Geof.

"My mom's sick, Geof! How could I go with you?" Merta.

"Are you a bitch? I said next month! I had a chance to meet with the doctor earlier, he said 2 days again your mother can go home." Geof.

"Yes already!" Merta Sahut.

"Yes I'm going back to town, I have some business to do! Don't forget to return to the apartment as soon as your mother's out of the hospital." Geof.

Merta was still silent staring at Geof's departure from the hospital.

"I felt like I heard clearly that she said she loved me earlier." Merta muttered.

"Well, how could he like me! He's a handsome rich man and I'm just a poor country lady! It is impossible to have a real relationship. Huh, Merta! You'd better have any feelings for Geof. He's just the guy you've been involved with for two years, and after my contract expires and he'll be separated forever!" Merta muttered again.
