The next morning after they finished breakfast, Geof and Merta left for the city to return to Indonesia. They again took a long journey of up to tens of hours to arrive in Indonesia. Inside the plane, I don't know what makes Merta so worried. He can't wait to get to Indonesia soon. Geof noticed Merta who was agitated earlier.
"What's wrong? Why are you so nervous?" Ask Geof to Merta.
"Eitherway! I feel like something's going on." Merta Sahut.
"Geof, is it possible that the plane we're flying will crash?" Merta's words caused Geof to panic.
"You don't say that! Scare me, you." Shouted Geof.
"Huh, I'll just say what I think!" Merta said while grunting annoyed.
"You better get some sleep! In a few hours we will be in Indonesia." Geof told Merta to rest.
Merta again snorted in annoyance while covering her face with the blanket provided in the cabin of the plane. Merta tried to close her eyes so that the disturbing feeling she was feeling was gone. But whatever the power, the feeling continued to appear and made Merta unable to close her eyes in the slightest. Merta re-opened her blankets and glanced at Geof who was sitting relaxed while listening to music.
"Geof!" Call Merta while pulling Geof's shirt sleeve.
"What's? Why don't you sleep?" Ask Geof.
"I can't sleep." Merta.
Geof brought his face closer and whispered to Merta.
"Do you want me to sleep? Hehe." Geof Brisks.
"Huh, shitty!" Umpat Merta is upset.
Geof laughed when he saw Merta's face blushing from her words.
"Geof, I'm not kidding! I really can't sleep because of how I feel." Merta.
"What are you worried about?" Ask Geof.
"I remember my mother!" Merta Sahut.
"Am I allowed to visit my mother in the village?" Tanya Merta with a clear face.
"Yes, go!" Sahut Geof gave him permission.
"Thank you, Geof! You're good." Merta said happily.
"Nothing is free!" Whisper Geof again.
"Huh, you always do! Can you give me something without any reward?" Merta sewot.
"All right! I assume you owe me. If I need it, I'll take it from you." Sahut Geof's.
"But I don't want you to want that from me anymore!" Merta said frankly.
"Yes, okay! Are you satisfied?" Geof is upset.
"Hehehe, already!" Merta cengengesan.
"Go sleep! When I get there, I'll wake you up." Geof.
He pulled back his blanket and closed his eyes again. While Geof also returned to wear a headset in his ear to listen to music.
A few hours later, the plane they were boarding arrived at the Indonesian airport. Geof wakes Merta up to get out of the plane. Still in the airport, Merta turned on her cellphone which had not been activated since. Soon, his phone rings and the call is from Maya. Merta immediately picked up the phone from Maya.
"Hello, Auntie." Merta.
"Mer, your mother." Maya said crying.
"What's up Auntie? What happened to mom?" Tanya Merta with a racing heart.
"Your mother went to the hospital again and was in the ICU room!" Maya continued to cry.
"What's? Is mom in a coma again?" Merta asked in panic mixed with worry.
"Yes!" Maya Sahut.
"I'll be there soon!" Merta.
Geof approached Merta after she finished dealing with the airport attendant. Geof looked at Merta's crying face and also panicked.
"What's wrong?" Ask Geof.
"My mom is in the hospital again! Aunt Maya said my mother's in a coma." Merta replied crying in Geof's arms.
"Let's go there! I'll keep you company." Geof.
Lutfi who had been waiting for the arrival of Geof and Merta, immediately took them to the village where Merta's mother was cared for. A few hours by road, they finally arrived at the small village at night. Merta and Geof run to meet Maya who is crying in the patient's waiting room.
"Tante, how's mom doing?" Ask Maya.
"Said the doctor, your mother's condition is getting weaker." Maya's voice in her cries.
"I'll see his doctor." Said Geof stepping away to see the doctor who was standing guard at the hospital.
Merta entered the ICU room with the clothes provided there. Her tears spilled from seeing her mother's unconscious and increasingly weakened condition.
"Mother, I'm coming!" Merta stroked her mother's face which looked very pale.
She kept shedding her tears beside her mother. While Geof was talking to the doctor who was there.
"What kind of illness does he suffer from?" Geof asked the doctor.
"We can't know for sure because the equipment in this hospital is limited. But I feel like there's an irregularity in her lungs!" The doctor said.
"What do you mean, doctor?" Ask Geof again.
"I wish I was wrong! But I suspect he has lung cancer." Answer the doctor.
"Doctor, get everything ready! I'll take him to a more adequate city hospital." Geof.
"All right!" The doctor's word.
The hospital is preparing everything to take Merta's mother to the city hospital. A few minutes later everything was finished and Merta's mother was in the ambulance and immediately transferred to the city hospital. Maya and Merta enter the ambulance while Geof follows from behind in a car that Lutfi is carrying.
After a few hours, they arrived at the city hospital whose equipment was very sophisticated and good. The hospital belongs to Devan who is none other than Luky's best friend. All the costs in the hospital were Geof who bore it. Geof contacted Devan to ask him to come to the hospital. Devan came and immediately saw the condition of Merta's mother who was getting weaker in the ICU room.
"Geof, who's that old lady?" Ask Devan.
"Om, she's the mother of my friend!" Answer Geof.
"Friends?" Devan asked again in disbelief.
"Om, how's the condition?" Tanya Geof switched the conversation.
"The conditions are getting worse! The doctor here will do further tests to find out the disease." Answer Devan.
"How long are we gonna find out, om?" Ask Geof.
"Fast, tomorrow!" Answer Devan.
"Om, said the doctor who was hospitalized earlier, he suspected that Merta's mother had cancer in her lungs." Geof.
When going to respond to the words of Geof, suddenly a doctor came to Devan with a file of medical examination results belonging to his mother Merta.
"Prof, I did an examination of the patient's lungs and here's the result." The doctor said he gave the results of the medical examination to Devan.
Devan widened his eyes when he saw the results of a medical examination owned by his mother Merta. Geof suspiciously looks at Devan's serious-looking face.
"What's up, om? Is the disease severe?" Ask Geof to Devan.
"So what do you mean? Her mother's life can't be helped anymore?" Ask Geof.
Suddenly there was a scream from inside the ICU room where Merta's mother was treated. Geof and Devan quickly approached the ICU room. Devan and several doctors came in to check on Merta's mother's condition. Soon Devan came out with a sad face.
"What's up?" Ask Geof.
"Your friend's mother has died." Devan.
Maya and Merta screamed hysterically when she heard that her mother had died from a lung cancer she had long had. Merta ran up to the body of her mother who no longer had her life. His heart was so broken when he saw his mother's face that was already deathly pale.
Geof approached Merta to try to calm her down.
"Mother wake! I'm with mom." Merta said while hugging her mother's body.
"Pulse!" Said Geof touching Merta's shoulder.
Merta turned around and immediately hugged Geof.
"Geof, please wake up my mother! I don't want him to sleep like that." Merta.
"Parad Merta! Try to accept the fact, your mother's gone." Geof said he was trying to calm Merta down.
"My mom can't go! I love him so much." Merta said in her sobs.
After everything calmed down, Merta's mother was taken back to her hometown in an ambulance. Geof still faithfully accompanied Merta until the funeral of her mother. Luky and Lita were present at his mother's funeral. They learned of the death of Merta's mother from Lutfi who also continued to accompany Geof and Merta.

After the funeral was over, Merta just sat quietly in her house that looked simple. Merta stared blankly as she outlined her tears. Geof again approached Merta who all day did not want to eat anything. Geof brought a packet of chocolate bread for him.
"Take a little meal." Geof said while thrusting the bread at Merta.
"I'm not hungry, Geof!" Merta Sahut.
"Eat a little! Since yesterday you haven't eaten anything." Geof.
"Mother!" Merta said again crying in front of Geof.
Geof felt the pain of seeing Merta repeatedly shed tears of sadness that. Geof held Merta tightly.
"This is my restless answer yesterday, Geof! I didn't think my mother had left me." Merta said in her sobs.
"Don't cry anymore! Your mother's calm down there. He no longer felt the pain as he used to.". Geof.
"Yes, you're right! My mother now doesn't have to suffer anymore because of the illness she's been through." Merta tried to stop crying.
Geof let go of his embrace and looked at Merta's face that was so swollen.
"Geof, let me stay here in a few days. I beg!" Merta Pinta.
"Yes, okay! You can come back anytime when you're calm." Sahut Geof's.
"Thank you, Geof! You're a good man." Merta.
"I'm going back to town! There's an important job I need to finish." Geof.
"Yes! Be careful on the road." Merta.
When Geof was about to get into the car Merta pulled his arm.
"Geof, thank you again for always helping me!" Merta.
Geof got in the car and went back to town. Merta was still staring at the luxurious car from a distance.
Maya had noticed Geof's attention to Merta. Maya feels suspicious about the relationship between Merta and Geof.
"I'm sure they have more than just bosses and workers. But if that's true, I hope Geof is the right man for Merta." Maya murmured in her heart.
It was a day that Merta would never forget. Where he had to lose the figure of a mother who had been struggling to raise himself without being accompanied by a husband because Merta's father had died a long time since he was a child.
Merta sat on her bed and stared at the ceiling of her room.
"Mother, father! May you be happy there." Merta said she couldn't hold back her tears.
Geof arrived at his parents' residence in the early hours of the morning. He felt an incredible tiredness. Geof walked into his room and sat down on his little sofa. Geof sat leaning back and exhaled a long breath while staring at the ceiling of his room. He remembered the cry of Merta who was so devastated by the loss of her mother.
Geof got up into the bathroom to clean himself up. After that he used his sleeping pajamas and lay down on his soft bed. Geof slowly closed his eyes until he fell asleep.
The next morning, Lita hears from the waiter that Geof is back home in the early hours of the morning. Lita and Luky decided not to disturb her son's rest. They let Geof to rest longer.
Around 10am, Lita brought food for Geof who was still asleep in her room. Lita went in and opened the window curtain for sunlight to enter Geof's room. Lita put the food on the table. He approached Geof to wake him up.
"Geof, wake up baby!" Lita rubbed her son's face gently.
"Pulse!" Racau Geof as he turned his lips to Lita.
"Huh, she missed Merta!" Lita Mumbled.
"Geof, wake!" Said Lita again.
"Thus, I love you." Racau Geof again.
"Hehehe, you finally confessed that feeling, Geof!" Lita said in her heart.
"I'll pretend to be Merta!" Said Lita again.
"Geof, do you really love you?" Said Lita pretending to be Merta.
"Yes, baby! Here hug me!" Racau Geof again.
"I want to have a child with you, Geof!" Said Lita pranking her son.
"Yes, how many kids do you want? If you want 100 kids, I'll give you a lot of sperm! Hehe. Racau Geof again.

Lita slapped Geof's face so hard that Geof suddenly woke up from his sleep.
"Hey, you think women only work to print children, huh?" Lita was upset with Geof.
"Mah.mama! What's my mom doing in my room?" Shouted Geof at Lita.
"I'm pretending to be Merta, so I know how you really feel about my son-in-law." Answer Lita straightforwardly.
"Huh, mama what the hell! Just disturb my sleep." Geof was upset.
"I brought you some food! Eat while it's warm." Said Lita moving out of Geof's room.
"Geof, immediately express your feelings to Merta, before she leaves you!" Said Lita.
"Mama! What the hell!" Geof said, annoyed with shame.
Lita laughed as she walked out and closed Geof's room door again. Geof got out of bed and sat on the sofa to eat the food brought by Lita earlier. When going to eat the food, Geof suddenly remembered Merta who was in his village.
"Eh, what has Merta eaten yet?" Geof murmured in his heart.
Geof took his phone with the intention to contact Merta to ask her how she was doing. But Geof changed his mind and put his phone back.
On the other hand it also happened to Merta who was in the kitchen of her house. Merta recalled to Geof who was separated by her.
"Geof, have you eaten anything yet in the apartment? He's alone there." Merta muttered in her heart.
