A CONFUSING FEELING

Merta is still keeping her mother in the hospital. Early in the morning he woke up and washed his mother's body with warm water that had been given soap. Merta did not spend the least amount of time taking care of her mother. For almost two days Merta took care of her mother in the hospital. Wash it and feed it. His mother was very happy because it was close to his only child.

"Mother, tomorrow I'll be back in town for work." Merta said to her mother.

After that, he said goodbye to his mother and aunt who were still in the hospital. With tears and heavy steps, Merta got into the car to return to the city. Throughout the journey Merta continued to pray for her mother and her aunt to be given health as long as she was not in the village. He also deeply regretted his actions for lying to his mother and aunt.

"I'm sorry mom, auntie! I lied just to make you both happy. I don't want you to feel any more distress and lack of money for your living expenses." Merta said in her heart.

The tears dripped from his eyes. Merta wiped her tears as she heard the ringtone from her phone. He receives a phone call from Geof who keeps calling him.

"Yes, hello!" Merta.

"Where have you been? When are you gonna get here?' Geof asked impatiently.

"I'll be there soon!" Merta was upset.

Merta disconnected the phone suddenly. Geof was very upset with Merta's increasingly bold attitude towards him. From the rearview mirror the driver smiled and glanced at Merta who was sitting behind him.

"I'm back." Merta.

"Bring your suitcase into my room upstairs!" Geof's orders on Merta.

"For what?" Ask Merta.

"Have you forgotten your status that you've become my woman, huh?" Shouted Geof.

Merta lowered her face and felt humiliated by the status that Geof had given her.

"Yes, okay!" Merta Sahut.

Merta obeyed what Geof had told him. With tears in her eyes, Merta arranged all her clothes in the closet in Geof's room. Since that night, Merta and Geof slept in their rooms together and shared a blanket every day.

A few days later, Merta got word that her mother had improved and was allowed to leave the hospital. Merta was very grateful to hear the good news from Aunt Maya. Merta used the card given by Geof to buy groceries that would be sent to her mother and aunt in the village. Geof often comes home the night from his office. Sometimes he was late and went home until midnight. Merta always tried to obey what Geof told her.

Merta breathed a sigh of relief as Geof said that beef rib soup was her favorite meal. Merta put rice on the plate and also her beef rib soup. Geof immediately ate the food very greedily. Many times Geof praised Merta's cuisine that tasted good on her tongue. Geof drank a little water after finishing his breakfast. Merta who sat next to him looked busy tidying up Geof's eating marks. Merta is like a wife who is very good at serving her husband.

"Then, come with me tonight." Geof.

"Where?" Ask Merta.

"All right." Merta Sahut.

Just as Geof was about to go to work, Merta held him back.

"I'll be going to the hospital later." Merta.

"Are you sick?" Ask Geof.

"What do you want to do there?" Ask Geof again.

"I want to consult a doctor. I'll ask you how I won't get pregnant while I'm your woman." It was Merta who made Geof feel angry.

Merta obeyed what Geof told her. Merta sat next to Geof in the living room.

"Massage my back!" Geof's orders again.

Merta also massaged Geof's back with a face mask that was still attached to his face. Geof looked at Merta's face in annoyance.

"Take off that mask! You're like a ghost." Shouted Geof.

"Yes God! I'd love to tear his mouth out of it. He always yells at me." Merta muttered in her heart while releasing the mask on her face.

Suddenly Geof kissed him violently making it difficult for Merta to take a breath. Merta let out a small scream as she was already completely unable to take another breath. Geof released his kiss and the breath of the two of them gasped for air.

"Go get some bath water for me." Speak Geof with a slightly weakened tone.

Merta got up and went upstairs to prepare the Geof bath water. Geof was still staring at the woman who was climbing the stairs. Geof's mind drifted somewhere back then.

"What happened to me? Why did I ask him that question?" Geof murmured in frustration in his heart.
