Part 8 DELAYED PLANS

"All right! I'll wait until your father gets home from the hospital. After that, I want you to get married." Sandra looked at Kanaya. Actually the woman felt bad, but, Sandra had to do it.

Soon, he had to go abroad. The employment contract he signed for a year could be used to formulate his plan.

Sandra will take Kanaya with her, as well as her husband. Sandra had even booked an apartment for Kanaya and Sean to live in.

"Do I really have to come to Paris with you? Can't I just refuse and choose another place to hide?" Kanaya tried to bargain.

"I will help you, on the terms you ask before you send the money. I just don't agree that I have to go with you abroad." Kanaya looked at Sandra with a pleading gaze.

"You can prepare a place far away for me to live, but not abroad, let alone come to Paris."

"But I want you to come with me because I don't want Sean's parents to suspect that I'm lying to them. I deliberately wanted to take you there so I could engineer my pregnancy."

The two women continued to talk. Meanwhile, Sean was only silent while occasionally staring at his wife and best friend.

"After your business in Surabaya is finished, you can return to Jakarta. Papa and your mama decided to settle down overseas after the work was done."

"Pa, why did Papa decide without talking to me first?" Sean looks upset.

"All for your mother. The woman who gave birth to you wants you to have children soon, so we have an heir who will replace us."

"Mr ...."

"Look, Sean! Have your wife do the pregnancy program and quit her job, otherwise your mother will really find you another woman to be your wife for the sake of getting offspring!"

"Father!"

"Easy! Mom and Dad left first. Take care of yourself, and think about what you said, Sean!"

Sean glanced at the two beautiful women before him who were now looking at him curiously.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" Sandra who was worried to see Sean's face that immediately changed after receiving a phone call, approached her beloved husband.

"Papa canceled my business trip to Paris. During this year, my mom and dad will take care of my business there. They'll settle there."

"What?" Both of Sandra's eyes faded when she heard Sean's words.

"I've signed a contract for my work there. If both your parents were there, they'd be monitoring all my movements, and they'd know I wasn't pregnant."

Sandra looked panicked and upset.

"The only way, you have to cancel your job in Paris!"

"Darling ... How can I cancel my job there? Being a model that can go international was my dream long ago, how could I give up all my dreams now?"

"Then, it's up to you. Do what you want to do!" Sean stared intently at his beautiful wife who was so stubborn.

"Darling ... are you angry?" Sandra looked at Sean with both teary eyes. Both her hands cupped her husband's handsome face.

"I don't know what else to give you. Papa told me to go to Surabaya to sort things out there."

"What?" Sandra was shocked to hear Sean say.

"I told you, all the work abroad, papa and mama are taking care of. After my job in Surabaya was done, papa told me to take control of papa's company here." Sean looked at his wife's face with a regretful look.

This time, his parents were serious. They have lost patience with Sandra who until now has not been willing to give the descendants of the future heir to the throne of the Ibrahim family.

"I'm going to stay in Paris and you two are going to have to stay married."

"Sandra!" Sean and Kanaya spoke together.

"Don't be rash! If I were to marry her now, there would be a chance that she would get pregnant earlier than the appointed time. But even that if she still ... virgin!" Sean glanced at Kanaya who was directly glaring at him.

"Kanaya's different. I'm sure he would never betray me. Right, right, Kanaya?"

Sandra took off her embrace, looking at Kanaya who immediately stuttered to hear the words spoken by her best friend.

"All right, Naya?"

"What's right?" Kanaya asked back.

"Had you married Sean, you wouldn't have taken Sean away from me, would you? You'll only be with Sean until the time I set, after that, you and Sean will never meet again. Your relationship is over!"

"Kanaya–"

"of course. I will obey you according to our agreement. You helped me with my father's surgery, there's no way I'd betray you, right?"
