Part 78 SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF MY SON

Early in the morning Kanaya goes with Juna to her grandfather's house. Since his grandparents died, the house has been empty.

However, not long ago, there was one family who rented the house. When Kanaya's father's business went bankrupt, Danu mortgaged the man who rented the house, Mr. Burhan.

For years, Mr. Burhan and his family lived in that house. However, since Riyanti paid a debt to Mr. Burhan, one family decided to move from his grandfather's house and buy his own house.

Since Mr. Burhan left, the house has been empty. However, even so, there are families from the grandfather's side who often come to clean the house. Riyanti paid his brother to keep and clean the grandfather's house.

After a few hours, Kanaya arrives at the grandfather's house with Juna. The woman was very happy. Moreover, when seeing the house is very comfortable to live in. Although the location of the house was far from the crowd, Kanaya still felt happy.

The beautiful woman was even happy, because that way, she could calm her mind which was in turmoil at the moment.

The house is quite big. Although the old building, but, still standing.

"Mother told people to repair and paint this house," explained Juna when he saw the older brother was amazed.

"It's worth it that this house is better than the last time I was here."

"You seem to know a lot about this house." Kanaya stared in full search at her sister.

"Don't tell me you've been here a lot without my mother and father's knowledge." Kanaya continued her words.

"Mom often told Juna to come here after Burhan om moved," replied Juna casually.

"Isn't there a brother who took care of this house?"

"Yes, right. I just want to make sure that nothing moves out of place." Juna chuckled making Kanaya smile.

"So I don't know mom." Juna and Kanaya laughed again.

Sean keeps calling Kanaya's cell phone. From last night, the woman could not be contacted. Hundreds of times Sean called, but Kanaya never once picked up her phone call.

Last night, Sean also searched for Kanaya along the way. However, as she had not found Kanaya, Sandra called and told her that her son was crying.

Sean stared at the tiny baby who was now fast asleep in the crib. His son cried all night until he was exhausted. Because of panic, Sean had his assistant call a doctor. Luckily, Sandra reminded.

His family's personal doctor was Ibrahim's confidant. Had Sean really called the doctor last night, it would have been obvious that their charade would have been discovered.

Eventually, they decided to calm Nathan down without calling a doctor. The little baby stopped crying at dawn. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as Nathan finally fell asleep.

Sean took a deep breath while staring at his phone.

"Where are you, Nay? I really didn't expect that you just left without talking to me first" Sean said.

I'm not sure if you can take good care of Nathan, Sandra. Not that I don't believe in your abilities. But, is it true that you will really focus on taking care of Nathan and neglecting your career?

Kanaya's shadow flashed back to her head. The man then got up to the bathroom. After that, Sean prepared to go look for Kanaya.

As Sean moved out of the room, Sandra slowly opened her eyes. She called her husband who looked handsome.

"Where are you going?" Sandra lazily got out of bed. His eyes are still sleepy.

"I'm looking for Kanaya." Sean looked at Sandra who was still rubbing her eyes. The woman looks still sleepy with messy hair.

"Where are you going to find him?" The woman closed her mouth because she was yawning. Both of his eyes were flickering by the drowsiness that was still controlling.

"I'm going to his house. I'm sure he must be there by now. Didn't you say he has no other family or close friends besides you?" Sean looked at Sandra who was instantly speechless but then nodded.

"But did he really go home? You know for yourself, don't you, if from yesterday she was afraid to tell her father Nathan's birth?"

Sean was silent to Sandra's words. It is true, Kanaya said yesterday that she was not ready to say about the birth of her son because she did not have the right reasons for her father.

In the Kanaya family, only Riyanti knows about her secret marriage. Kanaya does not want her father or her siblings to know that her marriage to Sean is a temporary marriage to get children.

"At least, I'm trying to find him. After all, Kanaya is the mother of my son. She's only been in labor for two weeks. His body is still weak. I'm afraid that anything will happen to him" Sean said at length. The man did not realize, if there was a heart that immediately also bled to hear the sentence that came out of his lips.

Sandra's body stiffened. His drowsiness instantly disappeared as the pain spread to his heart. Sean's words seemed to explain that Kanaya meant so much to the man.

She is the mother of my son.

Those words were like a dagger that pierced straight into his heart.

"Se–Sean ... are you really worried about Kanaya?"

"Of course I'm very worried about him. You know very well, he even left with nothing. She hasn't recovered properly after giving birth to Nathan, Sandra." Sean looked at Sandra's face which was currently staring at him.

"Are you worried about him or miss him?"

"I'm worried about her because she's the mother of my son, I'm worried about her because she's my wife, Sandra!"

She is the mother of my son.

She is my wife!

Hearing those words coming back out of Sean's mouth, Sandra's heart seemed forced to stop.
