The Part 22

Sean and Kanaya exit the hotel room to meet Kanaya's family. There, his father and mother and two younger siblings were already sitting at the dining table.

Some hotel waiters were serving them. Kanaya smiled looking at the happiness that radiated on the faces of her father and mother. Both of his sisters looked smiling.

Kanaya let out a long breath. There is happiness as well as pain. Happy because now he can make his family happy. Sick, because the happiness he gives is only temporary. When it's over, that happiness will be gone.

I'm sorry, father, mother. Forgive me for giving you all hope.

"What's wrong? Are you going to meet both of your parents with faces bent like that?" Sean looked at Kanaya who looked uninspired. The woman's move was slightly hobbled by the effects of her actions last night.

The corner of Sean's lips was drawn upwards when he recalled how his game was last night with the woman who had just become his wife for a day.

"Smile! Or do you deliberately want to show your family if you are not happy to marry me?" Sean glanced at Kanaya's face which still looked cloudy.

The two Netra Sean glanced back at Kanaya. The woman was seen smiling beautifully as the two of them had already arrived in front of the two Kanaya parents.

"Good morning, Dad, Mom." Kanaya smiled as she approached her father and mother. The woman grabs Rianti's hand and Danu then kisses the back of the two men's hand.

Meanwhile, his two younger siblings, Kanaya and Juna grabbed Kanaya's hand. They both did the same thing Kanaya did to her father and mother.

Sean also followed his wife. The man also greeted Rianti and Danu while smiling at his handsome face.

"Sorry to wait a long time." Sean looked at both of Kanaya's parents with guilt. The man then pulled the chair, letting his wife sit first.

"It's okay. We just got here too." Danu smiled at her daughter-in-law.

The two neutrals stared at Sean and Kanaya in turn. Danu was really happy to see her beloved daughter happy.

"Let's eat." Kanaya.

They all started their breakfast. Sometimes they smile and laugh. Sean smiled, feeling the warmth in the midst of the Kanaya family. The warmth of the family that he had not felt since he married Sandra.

After marriage, Sean lived with Sandra. The man rarely went home to his parents. His parents were so busy that they rarely spent time together.

Sean smiled, looking one by one at the important people in the life of his second wife. Kanaya, the woman was even willing to sacrifice marrying him just to finance the operation of her father.

"After this, what's your next plan, Nay?" Danu looked at her first daughter seriously. They all finished breakfast.

Now, they are all sitting down to relax. The plan is that soon the Kanaya family will return to their home. Danu and Rianti do not want to disturb Kanaya and Sean's honeymoon. Therefore, they wanted to immediately go home leaving the luxury hotel.

"Are you going to keep working after this?" Danu's voice was heard again.

"I want to keep working even though I'm married now, Dad. In any case, I still have to take responsibility for you." Kanaya stared one by one at the people she loved.

"I'll keep working. Kayla and Juna still cost a lot for their education, Dad."

"But, Naya–"

"Te–of course. Mom and Dad don't worry. I'll still allow Kanaya to work as long as she doesn't forget her obligations as a wife." Sean stuttered as Kanaya's beautiful smile seemed to hypnotize him.

"I'll have Kanaya work in my office so that every day I can be with her." Not to be outdone by Kanaya, Sean pretends to be sweet in front of Kanaya so that Danu does not suspect.

The man smiled at his second wife.

"Working in your office?" Kanaya was shocked to hear Sean say.

Is he crazy? Told me to work in his office? If both parents find out, Sandra's plan will definitely fall apart.

Kanaya glanced at Sean in annoyance. However, the next second his smile re-emerged as the father looked at him.

"Darling, aren't you overreacting?" Kanaya looked at Sean. Both of his eyes were signaling the man. However, it seemed that Sean did not understand the gesture.

"I'm not overreacting. I seriously want you to work in my office." Sean looked at Kanaya with a serious face. Somehow, when Kanaya's father talked about work, Sean had the idea to hire Kanaya in his office.

"Honey me–"

"You work at my company located not far from our home" Sean cut as he looked at Kanaya who seemed to disagree with his decision.

The woman frowned at the words of her husband.

"You just have to say agree or not. I'll arrange everything" Sean said seriously.

"Wouldn't you obey your husband's wishes, Nay?" Danu's voice rang out making Kanaya swallow back her words.

"But, Daddy–"

"It's not good to refuse your husband's wishes, Nay," continued Danu looking at the princess as she rubbed her hair.

"Dad ...." Kanaya looked at the father with an indecipherable look.

"Dad put Naya on you, Sean. Guide her to be a good wife." Both of his neutrals turned toward Sean.

"Don't hurt my daughter. If one day you don't want him anymore, you can give him back to me, but remember, don't hurt him every once in a while, let alone beat him."

"Dad ...." Sean could not continue his words as the middle-aged man said something he could not do except for when Kanaya was still his wife.

In a year, maybe Sean can do his father-in-law's wish. However, after Kanaya gets pregnant and gives birth, she will definitely not be able to do what Danu wants.

"I'll take good care of Kanaya, Dad. Daddy take it easy. I promise, I'll never hurt dad's daughter." Those words just came out of Sean's mouth.

The man seemed to be unaware of his words.
