Chapter 40. Karen's Move

It's been three days since Karen's been lying in the ICU. He has passed his critical period. Rico was very grateful to know the health development of his lover.

Rico held Karen's hand while occasionally dipping her. Right now Rico is a little quiet because Arion's Papa hasn't acted much since he was threatened. He came just for a while, to see Karen's state after that back again.

Rico is currently working on moving Karen to a better, more fully equipped hospital in the city. The doctor has allowed it because the woman has passed her critical period.

"Honey, soon you will be transferred to the best hospital. I want you to wake up."

The doctors and nurses have prepared all. Arion dared not argue when Rico said he would take Karen to a hospital in the city.

Rico sits in the ambulance carrying Karen. His hand held the hand of the woman he loved.

"Patience Dear, do not give up, and continue to fight this disease. Soon you'll look back and say, 'all I've been through'. I know you can, because you're strong. This pain is not a barrier for you. You have to believe you can get through it all, honey. Remember there is always the fruit of our love your womb. We're going to be parents" Rico said as he continued to kiss Karen's hand.

Three hours drive, then the ambulance entered the hospital yard. Karen was taken straight to the VVIP room.

Rico asks that Karen be treated in the VVIP room only. All medical equipment is provided in the room. Two nurses stood guard beside him.

Meanwhile, without Arion noticing, wherever his feet stepped someone was watching. That guy always makes reports by taking videos of all of Arion's activities.

All that Rico did to find the weak point and fault of Arion so that later when Karen realized she could sue for divorce her husband.

This is one way for Karen to be free and separated. If her husband is proven to be having an affair, it will be easy for Karen to sue for divorce. Waiting for Arion to divorce will never be the middle-aged man did.

"Surely Mr. Rico will be happy to see these photos" he said with a triumphant smile.
